Overcoming failure begins with knowing and believing that failure is not the end; it's an opportunity for growth. When we face setbacks, it's easy to feel defeated and discouraged. But I think failure is permission to try again, to learn, and to grow stronger. Our failures don't define how God sees us.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with sales development expert Michael Falato, who has developed a process for automating lead generation. Michael has access to a whopping 950 million contacts, which he can use to create drip campaigns, emails, and LinkedIn automation that bring leads right to your doorstep. Many companies hire sales development reps right out of college, but they often burn out quickly and either quit or want to move into account executive roles. That's where Michael's automated process comes in. By sending out thousands of emails and LinkedIn messages each month, Michael is able to produce 20-30 marketing or sales qualified leads. The beauty of this approach, as Michael explains, is that it allows you to focus on what's important - prescribing solutions to problems and selling - rather than getting bogged down in repetitive tasks that may break your domain or have your LinkedIn profile shut down.If you're looking for an alternative to generating leads manually and want to explore how Michael's process can help your business, then this episode is a must-listen! We will provide a shorter cycle, tighten the messaging, as well as provide metrics, insights, and consultation.I have the capacity to safely send over 20,000 emails a month and over 150 LinkedIn Inmails/Invites a day for lead generation. Fifteen Minute Friday episode 24 with Steve Hoffman. - It's crucial for business people to identify when a client is not serious about buying to save time and resources. In the venture capital raising process, it's equally important to determine if the investor is the right person with the necessary information to make a decision. Investors who are unsure about investing may keep you on hold, but figuring out if they are a good fit early on saves valuable time and energy. In sales, the likelihood of closing a deal decreases with each meeting after the third. Steve Hoffman, CEO of Founders Space and author of several books, shares the valuable lesson every sales professional should learn to determine if an investor is a good fit and achieve their goal in sales meetings. the first time saves you the time and mental energy of pursuing investors who are not serious. Join the conversation with your host Ben Albert as he interviews Steve Hoffman, the CEO of Founders Space and author of Surviving a Startup, Make Elephants Fly & The Five Forces That Change Everything. Steve discusses the most valuable lesson any professional should learn and how to determine if an investor is a good fit for you. - Quote Of The Day: “If you kiss the same frog three times and it doesn't turn into your prince charming, it's just a frog.” ~Steve Hoffman - Timestamp: [00:48] A quick bio of our guest; Steve Hoffman [01:37] Today's focus; Raising venture capital [02:35] Quote of the day: “If you kiss the same frog three times and it doesn't turn into your prince charming, it's just a frog.” ~Steve Hoffman [03:00] Steve's personal story [04:10] The most valuable lesson any professional should learn [05:44] What should be your goal in the first sales meeting? [05:00] - If you can figure out an investor is not fit in the first meeting, you have saved yourself a ton of time and a ton of mental energy trying to pursue an investor who is not serious. [05:58] - In venture capital, the chance of closing a deal on the first meeting is very small. But on the second meeting, there is a decent chance of closing a deal if, between the first meeting and the second meeting, you get them everything they need to make a decision. [06:27] - Every meeting you take after the third meeting, the chance of closing the deal starts to decline. [09:19] - When you are doing all the talking, you are not gathering the information you need to make an intelligent decision. In this week's episode, I will share with you the idea of 'stepping up your game' when the situation demands us to. Inspired by the situation, that has taken place a week ago, I want to explore the few topics, which intertwine in the dance surrounding the attitude of courage and activity in adversity. I will invite you to consider how can you assure the necessary strength to act is within you when the time to use it comes. We will talk about prioritization, being reliable, trusting your instincts, and taking action, which has to be taken. Although there may be moments in life when this strategy causes us discomfort, it is an essential quality of any noble human being and I wish you with all my heart that you do 'step up your game' when the world needs you to do so... A serious episode on a serious topic. Of course, we shall dive into the subject and emerge with a little challenge (or four of them...) you may want to take up and practice throughout your week! I wish this helps you become the courageous and reliable self you always wanted to be. All the love, all the power, all of the time...

Why isn't God doing something about this mess... I think it is time for our culture to take ownership for our part in creating the mess. Today's message is meant to be an encouragement but also a bit of hard truth. There is only 1 God and there is only 1 Truth. It is time that we realize we aren't stepping up to the plate with these 2 hard and fast facts and that we need to do better. Make sure to check out Rooted In for the transcript / blog post of this later on this week!

The Jim Galiano Show: Online Business Success Minus the Stress
https://www.jimgaliano.com/cloudways | https://www.jimgaliano.com/enroll As the business world “reboots itself” (post-Covid), many business owners aren't just looking to pick up where they left off in 2019. Why? Because it's generally believed across the board that the “things” (we're talking about – marketing, sales, social media, online ads, offline marketing), etc. aren't getting the same results in 2021. In other words, just about everything needs to be tweaked, adjusted, modified, removed, or even replaced. And while that's somewhat normal in the online world where things change quickly, it's different this time. All of this is happening against the backdrop of what appears to be a looming financial crisis throughout the world. Food, gas, and insurances prices are increasing at an alarming rate. Here in the US… almost 2 million homes are on the brink of defaulting on their mortgages. Shades of 2008 are reappearing throughout the country. Although this is reality, and it's always good to deal with reality, it doesn't mean we default to a doom and gloom prognosis. Like most things in life, being prepared is at least half the battle. Check your foundation while the sun is still shining. If the storm misses your location, at least you were prepared!Subscribe to The Jim Galiano Show: Help for Freelancers & Solopreneurs on Soundwise

Today's mom tip was actually going to be something different. Before I started recording, I asked a couple of my boys what they recommend as a mom tip. What was something I did well as a mom that they appreciated? Or what was something I could have done better that I should share with others (they all mentioned the milk episode ugh). As I started talking, my thoughts quickly headed in a different direction (as they usually do) and I went with it. Sometimes God just takes over you guys!So just as the title says, let's talk about following through with what we say to our kids. You say you're going to take a privilege away if they don't listen? Then make sure you do it! BUT. I know we also need to step up our game of positivity. This episode gives me a great idea for my next episode, so make sure you turn into episode 84 for a special and fun guest!!
