Social media has become an arena for polarizing opinions - and not just about real-world issues but also sales and marketing. Is there a way to put this argument-provoking rhetoric to good use and hit your numbers? In this episode of INSIDE Inside Sales, Darryl is joined by the knowledgeable and outspoken Jake Dunlap, CEO at Skaled Consulting, to talk about how to leverage social-selling in a polarized world. Darryl and Jake go on to discuss varied and somewhat controversial posts pulled from Jake's social media, such as the importance of optimizing and diversifying outbound messaging, the power of video in sales, and the TTTT tactic. Subscribe now and find out why the gig economy may be the next frontier for sales professionals.

The TTTT gang takes on a movie theatre in this episode where we went to see In the Heights! Bringing our chaos on the town where we had many adventures and fun times... while also watching an iconic musical, but you can decide if it's poppin or droppin!

“Sure, I'd love to have an executive assistant. But I can't afford one!” You've probably said that before. Or maybe you don't know where to find one. Or you've had a bad experience with an assistant and are reluctant to try again. In the meantime, you're stuck in multitask-mode, essentially doing the job of two people. There's got to be an easier way to find and hire an executive assistant, doesn't there? Yes, there is! We've got some simple steps for hiring and onboarding the world-class helper you need. Our own HR manager, Danielle Rogers, joins us on the podcast to empower you to make the most important hire of your career. When we're through you'll have the confidence to take your first step toward ending the overwhelm and getting the help you need. Here's a preview of this episode: Why you're not done with a hire when you sign the contract. Three strategy choices to make before you hire. Pros and cons of hiring a full-time employee. Why a contract assistant often makes the most sense. When a remote assistant may serve you best. Why you should hire no one before creating a job description. Must-have elements in a great job description. How a Careers page on your site works like a screening tool when hiring. Why attitude trumps skill in hiring. The very best (and easiest) way to search for candidates. How to motivate your team to search for your new assistant. Six ways to find candidates that you may not have tried before. Two reasons you might consider using a corporate recruiter. A simple tip for getting interviewees to be totally candid about their history. The very first step in onboarding an executive assistant. TTTT things you must communicate at the outset of your EA relationship. Why you must over-communicate with your EA during the first 90 days. Elements of a good communication rhythm with your EA. Are you tired of the overwhelm? The help you need could be here soon. Don't overthink this! You know you need the help. Take the next right step and begin drafting your EA's job description. That will give you the momentum you need to make this vital hire. Resources from This Episode Your World-Class Assistant by Michael Hyatt Careers at Michael Hyatt & Co. That’s right - the Trainer to the Trainers® himself, the one and only, Mr. Tom Purvis is on the line and hanging out with the boys this week! Tom drops some serious intellectual weight on Dan, Dave and Mark (don’t worry, momentum was not a factor) and can’t resist taking them through a full circuit to build their bodies of knowledge. TTTT exercises some patience with the boys and fills them in on a few behind-the-scenes flexes and spots them for a few reps around the world of fitness informercials at large. As a special bonus, Tom sends the boys on an Easter egg hunt and plays a quick game of “Fair or Jowl.” So take the Call Now Challenge! You can finish this entire episode in just 20 minutes, three days a week and if you’re not completely satisfied, send it back to us for a full refund. Once you listen, you won’t know how you could get this type of entertainment from any other podcast. Check us out at callnowpodcast.com and follow @CallNowPodcast on Twitter and Instagram! Topics include: free horsepower, tire choices, CRF250L Rally mods, ignition, and fuel mapping explained, clutch heat, fire, and something about a Husaberg! You really have to listen.

Two-minute Tips for Turbulent Times with David Allen Labelers I know that may sound a little dumb and dorky, when you're in a turbulent time to think about a labeler. What's a labeler? Any of you old GTD practitioners probably know how adamant I've been about the value of labeling things. Being able to have a typeset labeler. If you're not doing anything else, order yourself a labeler, if you don't have one already. You'd be amazed at how much of a difference it makes, to make sure your files look like that, and have nice labels on them. It does make a difference. A lot of people say they had no idea how much of a difference just a labeler would make. In terms of how I manage myself, my information, access to it. Labels can be used for anything, they can be used for file folders obviously, but they could also be used for plastic bags, where you're keeping track of pills, or you're keeping track of electronic equipment, or just wrapping a label around a piece of electronic gear, so you know what it's about. All those are great things. By the way, I use a DYMO plug and play. You can use it in the Windows or the Mac environment, no software required. And you just hook it up, wire it up, whatever. So if I'm making a file right now for TTTT I just type it in, click, here it is, TTTT. I can then put in on a file folder, and I'm done. I know it may seem strange in turbulent times, to think about a labeler, but you never know.

Our own HR manager, Daneille Rogers, joins us on the podcast to empower you to make the most important hire of your career. *Spoiler Alert!* We're talking Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) and it's very topical relevance to Game of Thrones! Tune in to the TTTT, but tune all the way out if you're not up to date in the land of GRRM! Special guest O&G Registrar Stella Italiano stars in this episode's delve into one of the most important topics in obstetrics and it's relevance to our very own Jon Snow.
This episode we've got something a little bit different going on, can you *guess* what it is? Which is appropriate as this time we're talking about Guessing Games! Keen listeners may be able to whittle down the possibilities to figure out the mystery; at which point you could say, it's a "mystery guessed".
They've won the prizes but have they won Mink and Fish's heart? This episode we're talking about our top 5 Spieles des Jahre winning games plus what games we've played most recently. ant to hear us talk about a specific subject? Send us questions and suggestions to tabletoptoptable@gmail.com or tweet us @TTtoptable
This episode Mink and Fish talk about their top 5 favourite games by prolific designer Reiner Knizia. We also talk about the curiously shaped games 'Here Comes The Dog' and 'Planet' and answer a listener's question about Legacy-style solo games
Have you ever seen a cloud overhead that looks very much like, say, a rabbit? Or maybe you’ve found a potato chip that had an uncanny resemblance to Elvis, or a cornflake that was almost exactly the shape of the state of Texas. What are the chances? In this episode of Choiceology with Katy Milkman, we explore curious events and mysterious patterns in order to reveal the human habit of ascribing meaning to randomness. Andy Marocco of the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum joins Katy to revisit some of the most famous and enduring unsolved air and naval mysteries that have occurred inside the “treacherous” Bermuda Triangle. You’ll hear about several famous disappearances, with a focus on the harrowing tale of Flight 19 in which several planes and airmen vanished without a trace. Next, we conduct a simple experiment--or is it a magic trick?--involving a series of coin tosses. Our game master will attempt to identify a truly random list from a pile of imposter lists, using nothing but mental prowess. (If you’re still skeptical about how “lumpy” randomness is, just notice how many possible outcomes of four coin flips include either three heads or three tails in a row: HHHH, HHHT, HHTH, HHTT, HTHH, HTHT, HTTH, HTTT, THHH, THHT, THTH, THTT, TTHH, TTHT, TTTH, TTTT.) Then we hear from Cornell University psychology professor Tom Gilovich about randomness as it pertains to iPods, jellybeans, faces, and canals on Mars. Finally, Katy Milkman offers tips on how basic statistical analysis can help you make better decisions. Choiceology is an original podcast from Charles Schwab. Are you thinking of going back to paradise? Does technology exist, autonomously, without us? Is it the new vector ruling the world? Where did the idea of newness come from? Does technology come (more) from arts & crafts than science? Do both socialism and capitalism go together with technology? Was Industrial Revolution science driven? Might religious change drive technology? Similarly, do new technologies change social relations? How is organic evolution different from the technological? Are hybridization and differentiation possibilities much greater in technology? What does not change? Do we need a ‘Darwin of machines’? Is there always a gap between the users’ tactics and the engineers’ strategy? Can technology make us ‘stupid’? However, is technology neither good, nor bad, nor neutral? How did acoustics go from the paradigm of music to engineering? Are wars the mother of all inventions? Can technology be forgotten? Must there be more social actors? What is the future – Will we still have hammers? Would we blow ourselves up? Will the digital and genetic come together? &, would we have a new ‘model’ of dog every week? SynTalk thinks about these & more questions using concepts from economics (Prof. Praveen Jha, JNU, New Delhi), media studies & semiotics (Dr. Carlos Alberto Scolari, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Barcelona), & history of science (Dr. Roland Wittje, IIT Madras, Chennai).
