Jesse Starcher, Robert Cooper and Mark Radulich present their Cannibal Corpse Chaos Horrific 2023 Album Review as part of the MHOD Jukebox!Chaos Horrific is the sixteenth studio album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse, released on September 22, 2023, by Metal Blade.Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1988, now based out of Tampa, Florida. The band has released fifteen studio albums, two box sets, four video albums, and two live albums. The band has had little radio or television exposure throughout its existence, although a cult following began to build with the releases of their early albums, including Butchered at Birth (1991) and Tomb of the Mutilated (1992). As of 2015, they achieved worldwide sales of two million units for combined sales of all their albums. In April 2021, Cannibal Corpse received their best "first week" sales of all-time and first Top 10 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart as Violence Unimagined entered at No. 6 with 14,000 copies sold.We also discuss Consequence.net's Moshing: The Art and Consequences of One of the Most Celebrated Concert Dance Forms. All of that plus video reviews of RED FANG - "Prehistoric Dog", Sick Of It All - Step Down and Crowbar - Bleeding From Every Hole.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsoFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulich

CANNIBAL CORPSE bassist Alex Webster joins us on this week's edition of The Loaded Radio Podcast CANNIBAL CORPSE, the enduring titans of death metal, are set to release their sixteenth studio album, titled "Chaos Horrific," via Metal Blade Records on September 22. For over three decades, since their inception in 1988, CANNIBAL CORPSE has spearheaded the world of death metal, leaving an indelible mark on the genre and continuously pushing its boundaries. Their 2021 release, "Violence Unimagined," further heightened their already formidable reputation. Now, in 2023, celebrating their thirty-fifth anniversary, the band unleashes "Chaos Horrific" as the follow-up to this monumental album, heralding a new era in their illustrious career. This latest offering was crafted shortly after the culmination of the "Violence Unimagined" sessions, and listeners can detect the lingering echoes of its predecessor within the powerful soundscapes of "Chaos Horrific." Band guitarist Erik Rutan has an impressive track record of producing six albums for CANNIBAL CORPSE, dating back to 2006's "Kill." Additionally, this marks Rutan's second release as a full-fledged member, following his official inclusion in 2020. The album was meticulously recorded at Rutan's Mana Studio in Florida, the band's home state, providing a comfortable and productive environment for all involved. Every member was operating at their peak, fully prepared to pour their energy into the project. Notably, the guitar work on the album went exceptionally smoothly, thanks to Barrett and Rutan's custom guitars, specially designed with longer scale necks to maintain the precise intonation required for lower tunings. The album's title, "Chaos Horrific," was coined by drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, a choice that resonated with the entire band as a fitting representation of their music. The lyrical themes explored in this release are as dark and intense as ever, including subjects like battling hordes of zombies in "Chaos Horrific," the grim selection of a random individual for dismemberment and sacrifice in "Summoned For Sacrifice," and the brutal retaliation of victims of human trafficking in "Vengeful Invasion." The album's artwork, crafted by the long-time collaborator Vince Locke, encapsulates the essence of CANNIBAL CORPSE, featuring a chaotic tableau of the living and the undead, mirroring the vivid imagery within the title track's lyrics. During the podcast, Alex discusses everything from the creation of the album to past band members to his personal writing process to his top 3 essential death metal albums.

Corpsegrinder is back on the show! We talk about Cannibal Corpse's upcoming new album, Violence Unimagined, the experience of recording it during the pandemic and welcoming longtime producer Erik Rutan into the band as a guitarist and writer, how Cannibal Corpse pick singles for their albums, and his desire to learn new technology despite his admittedly old school ways. We also discuss Corpsegrinder's passion for the NFL, including his thoughts on Tom Brady bringing a Super Bowl to his hometown of Tampa Bay, him being a Denver Broncos fan despite being born in Baltimore, how his father worked for the company that moved the Baltimore Colts to Indianapolis, and him refusing to perform during the Eagles Super Bowl game on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise. Petar, Brandon, and Sylvia discuss various metal musicians' comments on the tragic mass shootings last week in Atlanta and Colorado, including Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach and System of a Down's Daron Malakian. We also chit chat about Lemmy's ashes being put into bullets and sent to his close friends, and Rob Zombie nabbing the #1 album on the Billboard charts. Thank you to our sponsor, Metal Blade Records, for their continued support. Please help out Petar's personal friend and his family during a difficult time by following this link. Cannibal Corpse have been an absolute death metal juggernaut for over thirty years now and have long since past the point of having to prove anything. They've toured all over the world, been recognized by outlets that many would think not metal friendly, been featured in movies, and have had a career that most bands could only dream of. And with their upcoming fifteenth full length, Violence Unimagined, they show absolutely no signs of slowing down or even softening the blow of their brutal and very unique brand of death metal.Just ahead of the album's release, drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz took the time to chat with Buke about their over thirty year run and how he stays on top of his game this far in. They also spend a lengthy amount of time on sports and particularly hockey and how that was in direct competition to music at one time. Paul chats about his parents eventual support and the moment they became his, and the band's, biggest fans. They also discuss Erik Rutan joining the band and the positivity he brings, The Anchor Bar and La Nova and who has the best wings once and for all, Violence Unimagined, and a whole host of other topics.Violence Unimagined will be available April 16 on Metal Blade Records. Í þætti dagsins má heyra mikið af nýju og áhugaverðu íslensku efni, þar á meðal nýtt lag hljómsveitarinnar Devine Defilement, en í laginu koma einnig fram meðlimir hljómsveitanna Stillbirth og Defeated Sanity, nýtt efni með hljómsveitinni Blossum sem inniheldur fyrrum gítarleikara hljómsveitarinnar Gaddavír og hljómsveitina Chernobyl Jazz Club sem er afar áhugaverð íslensk rokksveit með fólki sem þekkt er fyrir að vera í hljómsveitum á borð við Bootlegs, Dos Pilas, Black Desert Sun, Pornopop, Blý og fleira. Við þennan lista bætast við lög með hljómsveitunum Eyehategod sem gegur út plötunna A History of Nomadic Behavior 12. mars næstkomandi og Lamb of God með aukalag sem er á finna á endurútgáfu sveitarinnar á nýjustu plötu sveitarinnar.
