"As we head into the final shows of The Poisoned Ascendancy tour, we want to thank everyone who's come out to celebrate with us," the band wrote. "The shows have been phenomenal and we've loved connecting with every single one of you. Being in this band is the most important thing to the four of us. We're incredibly grateful to have been given the chance to look back at a pair of life-changing albums for us & Trivium, who we have nothing but respect and admiration for." After acknowledging the "incredible achievement" of a 20-plus-year career, Bullet for My Valentine said they "can't wait to get back in the studio later this summer and finish what we promise you is our best album to date. To go along with this, we are already starting to make plans for the 2026 & 2027 touring cycles, hitting every corner." They ended their statement with a note of gratitude for their fans plus the promise, "We'll be back with all of you very soon." What Did Trivium Say About Bullet for My Valentine Tour Ending? Earlier this week, Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto blamed Bullet for My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck for the Poisoned Ascendancy tour coming to an apparently premature end. "Matt Tuck didn't want to do it, after we had planned it, after stuff was already in the works — don't know why," Gregoletto said in a livestream. The band later said in a TikTok comment that Tuck was "the sole decision maker of the band and he has no respect for us or our crew." Despite the public drama, Trivium frontman Matt Heafy expressed his joy and gratitude for the tour in his own statement on Tuesday. "I have loved every show, every day, every minute; from the work I did - I have found myself more present and more appreciative than ever," he wrote.” (Loudwire) ___Trivium VS Bullet For My Valentine?! | The Podcast That Rocked

It's rock news this week, as Moose and Dews chat about the potential for Sleep Token to score their first UK #1 album with the recently-released Even In Arcadia. If my Amazon brand is already successful, why start an agency?! That's the question I get asked ALL the time... and I get it. In this episode, I'm sharing the real reason behind the decision to launch my Amazon agency, Trivium. I still have my supplement brand on Amazon, and it's doing great. Let's get that out of the way.. Most people wait for permission. They ask endless questions. They overanalyze. I took the shot. I failed. I learned. I built something better. Back in 2019, I trusted the wrong software, ruined my Amazon account, and had no one to turn to. Agencies treated my brand like just another number. Softwares Sucked. Agencies sucked. Gurus weren't helping. I was stuck. So, I became the solution. I became an Amazon EXPERT out of desperation to make my own brand work. People constantly asked me for help. So I did. I built Trivium Group with one mission: relentless execution and extreme ownership. No excuses. Just results. We over-communicate. We update clients on every metric. We build strategies, not just run ads. We treat your business like OUR business. Now? Clients go from zero to $1M+/month on Amazon. They quit their jobs. They scale like never before. If you want to transform your Amazon business, stop waiting. Let's work together: https://hubs.la/Q03dy2Tt0

Send us a textAs the metalcore world continues to thrive on its past and push forward into new territory, few bands walk that line more masterfully than August Burns Red. The Grammy-nominated heavyweights recently made a powerful appearance on The Barn's very own Vulgar Display of Podcast, where drummer Matt Greiner joined the conversation to dive into the band's legacy, relentless touring schedule, and their latest massive undertaking — a full re-recording of their iconic debut Thrill Seeker. And as fate would have it, the timing couldn't be better. ABR is set to join Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine on The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour 2025, which hits The Factory STL in St. Louis on Saturday, April 19. The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of both Ascendancy and The Poison, with each band performing their breakout records in full. With Bleed From Within also on the bill, it's a stacked night of explosive metal — and ABR is bringing the heat. But the fire doesn't stop on stage. The band is marking 20 years of Thrill Seeker with a complete re-recording of the album, this time featuring longtime frontman Jake Luhrs on vocals — a longtime dream finally realized. The anniversary edition drops January 24 via ABR Records, packed with upgraded production from Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland, and features guest spots from Killswitch Engage's Adam Dutkiewicz and former ABR vocalist Josh McManness. Plus, the bonus track “Pride & Humility” gets a proper reimagining. Known for their tight musicianship, complex structures, and emotionally rich themes, August Burns Red has carved out a space uniquely their own — what Kerrang! once described as "thrillingly empathetic." Whether tearing up stages across the globe with Parkway Drive and Bring Me the Horizon, or dominating headlining tours celebrating albums like Constellations and Leveler, ABR has proven time and time again that they're built to last.

HEAVY Music Interviews

Interview by Kris PetersTwo decades into any career and you would be forgiven for starting to grow stale or formulaic. Be it an office job, labouring, or even in the music industry, the old saying familiarity breeds contempt holds firm. But try telling that to Scottish metal outfit Bleed From Within who, after 20 years in the music scene, have reached their peak - their Zenith, if you will. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. The upward journey reaches new heights on their seventh album, Zenith, which contains the band's heaviest, catchiest and most intrepid music to date. The band's first two albums, Humanity (2009) and Empire (2010), made Bleed From Within cult figureheads in the deathcore scene, before Uprising (2013) broadened their palate with groove metal adrenaline and melodic death metal prowess. It also marked their major-label debut, catapulting them onto tours with heavy royalty. In 2018, the band returned with the ferocious Era. Then, follow-ups Fracture (2020) and Shrine (2022) proved their greatest triumphs to date, intertwining vocalist Scott Kennedy's snarls with Steven Jones' majestic singing. The millions of streams gathered by such singles as The End of All We Know, Into Nothing and Levitate proved Bleed had become the next big thing. Now, on Zenith – announced ahead of career-affirming tours with Slipknot, Trivium and Bullet for My Valentine – the quintet are primed to leap into superstardom.HEAVY spoke with frontman Scott Kennedy to go deeper into Zenith."It feels like we've been waiting so long to drop this album," he sighed. "So, I'm buzzing for it to finally get out. I think it's the best collection of songs we've ever done and I'm desperate for people to hear it."We ask Kennedy to talk us through what Bleed From Within were going for musically with Zenith."To be honest, with Bleed From Within there's never really any concepts or anything like that," he replied. "It's more just about - for me personally - the songs are always about what I'm going through at that point in my life. I always try to write from the heart and write songs that are really meaningful because I don't want to go on stage and sing a song that doesn't really mean anything to me. I don't just want to go on and sing any old shit to the crowd. With Bleeding From Within it's just always about writing the best collection of metal songs that we possibly can, and I truthfully believe that this is the best collection of metal songs we've ever written."In the full interview, Scott discussed Zenith further, expressing his excitement about what he considers their best work to date. He highlighted the opening track Violent Nature for its heavy and fast nature, and elaborated on the collaborative songwriting process among band members, emphasizing a natural evolution in their music.Scott also mentioned Bleed From Within's experimentation with various musical elements, including strings and guest vocalists, to achieve a distinctive sound. The discussion wrapped up with a mention of upcoming tour plans and festivals following the album's release.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/heavy-music-interviews--2687660/support.

This week, I'm proud to announce a new collaboration with Trivium, a China-focused strategic advisory firm you've probably heard of. They've got offices in DC, London, Shanghai, and Beijing, and they focus on analyzing and forecasting Chinese policy developments for multinational companies and institutional investors across a range of verticals -- including macroeconomics, technology, automotive, resources, renewable energy, critical minerals, and green technology. They put out a terrific podcast each week, and you'll be able to listen to it here or subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Just search for the Trivium China Podcast. On today's show, you'll hear a half-hour chat between me and the two co-founders, Andrew Polk and Trey McArver, which we taped ahead of the Two Meetings — the NPC and the CPPCC. Then you'll hear a conversation between Andrew and his colleague Dinny McMahon, who you've heard on the show before in an episode we did on the digital yuan, talking about what came out of the Two Meetings. You'll be hearing from lots of the great folks at Trivium in coming episodes, so be sure to tune in.Beginning next week, or possibly sooner, we'll also be running a regular economy-focused roundup put together by Andrew and the team at Trivium. That will come out on Fridays.A warm welcome to Trey, Andrew, and all the excellent people at Trivium!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
