Hi Everyone! I'm very excited about this week's episode which is about a topic that is not often discussed: Gender Prediction. In the episode, I'll share 10 very common Old Wives' Tales for predicting gender (or sex, as some prefer to say). You'll learn vocabulary related to the characteristics of pregnancy such as mood swings, break outs, cravings and I'll also share our results to these tests within the episode. Is it a Boy or Girl? Since our 20-week anatomy test was this morning (after I recorded), you'll be able to see the result on Instagram. I don't want to spoil it here for those of you who wish to listen to the episode first. We're very excited! :)
You ever wonder if squeezing lemon juice into a cut will help it heal faster, or if microwaving a spoon will help it cut through the frozen ice cream? We have your answers. Some of them may surprise you.

Whipperginny By Robert Graves Narrated by Erin Louttit and Denis Daly This collection of fifty-three poems was written by Robert Graves between 1920 and 1923. Many of the pieces display a pastoral character and were composed in an effort by the poet to distance himself from the trauma of the First World War. The title, which is that of the first poem in the collection, refers to an obsolete card card game. Audio edited by Denis Daly This recording may be freely downloaded and distributed, as long as Voices of Today is credited as the author. It may not be used for commercial purposes or distributed in an edited or remixed form. For information about other titles in the Voices of Today catalogue please visit voicesoftoday.org
