Disclosure Day, by one of our greatest directors Steven Spielberg, is a conspiracy thriller masquerading as a sci-film flick. The point of the film has not escaped us, but we definitely talk about some its glaring issues, things we loved, and laugh at some things that are probably not meant to be funny. If you saw Disclosure Day, let us know in comments how you felt about it.Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

We were blessed to have Questlove produce an excellent documentary about the band that has had the most influence on our lives: Earth, Wind, & Fire. Even though we highlight all of the band members, it's really a documentary that focuses on Maurice, the visionary and founder of EWF. This is one of the more honest, open, heartfelt, and interesting musical documentaries made to date. With secrets unearthed and revelations revealed, we learn a lot about the influence and impact of EWF over the decades. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Masters of the Universe (2026) drops in a jam packed summer movie season as the nostalgia cartoon remake that might be a few years too late. However, it actually is a painstakingly faithful to the source material iteration, that's tastefully modernized in a way that isn't disrespectful to its OG fans. Let us know in the comments if you enjoyed Skeletor as much as we did

Spider-Noir on Amazon Prime is a take on the black and white Spider-Man from the comics and is played by Nicolas Cage, who also played a version of this character from Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse. This post WW1/prohibition/Great Depression era world sees Ben Reilly, a retired Spider-Man who has to find a new reason to be a hero, since the normal Spidey tragedy happens to him. Season four of Invincible on Amazon Prime seems to be a return to form, because Thragg, Lucan, Kregg and the rest of the Viltrumites are showing us why they are the superiors of the universe. Mark gets disemboweled, Conquest comes back from the dead, Nolan is on his apology tour, Alan is still unserious, but most importantly, Thragg is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!!!! With season five already dropping next year, what was your wtf moment from this past season?PS. - Sorry about the audio mishap

Guess who's back!?!?! Matt Murdock makes a dramatic entrance into court for his girl Karen, because they didn't leave on the best of terms. Heather and Fisk have a chat about the item she swiped. Jessica and Mr. Charlie have a quick chat too and we get a Luke Cage reference. Daniel makes a choice that doesn't end well for him, but it does for BB.IG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#daredevil #daredevilbornagain #mcu #disneyplus

As we are being led to an explosive finale, Maul finds himself having to let the hate flow through him to survive, Daki is still trying to rely on the kindness of strangers, and papa Lawson is dead set on finding his son. Devon is still having dark side flirtations, the inquisitors jump Maul, and Sul may be the realest character on this show. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

The entire crew saw Michael and we definitely are high on nostalgia. From kid MJ to MJ breaking away from his family, Michael is a music heavy biopic that tries to humanize the once larger than life entertainer. Jaafar Jackson channels Michael and gives an amazing performance of older Mike in his first acting role ever. Colman Domingo plays a menacing Joe Jackson and Nia Long as the comforting Catherine, the movie shows MJ wanting to be creatively free and cinematically does so. Please! Dealing with the ramification's of Vanessa's death, Fisk is quickly descending into full blown rage. Daniel is having the worst birthday ever, as BB finally starts to understand she's playing with fire. Buck gives Heather some “therapy,” and the CIA is making multiple moves in the background to deal with Fisk's betrayal. Karen turns into shooter and Daredevil really doesn't want to fight with anyone. Oh yeah, Jessica Jones and her biracial child make an appearance too. In the comments, let us know if you liked the Jessica Jones bit. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In the best episode of Daredevil: Born Again to date, we get full circle moments from many of our characters. Daredevil and Bullseye have a long conversation, Daniel and Buck take a nerve-recking road trip, Vanessa and Wilson reminisce, and BB is still moving real stupid and sloppy. Let us know in the comments if you agree if this is the best episode yet. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Another dual set of banger episodes, as Daki and Devon find themselves on the run from our favorite (maybe not alive) Inquisitor, Marrok. The Lawson's probably have the worst day of their lives, seeing how father and son are fully thrusted into the fight with the Empire. Do you think Maul did enough to convince Devon to be his new apprentice? Be sure to leave us your answer in the comments! Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Maul is doing very Sith-like things in episodes 3 and 4 of Maul: Shadow Lord. He's still trying to make an apprentice Devon, while Daki wants to save his padawan. Lawson is kind of a deadbeat dad and his droid Two Boots is a snitch. Vario is the ultimate setup person, as the Pikes don't know he is a literal Trojan horse. Janix gets the unfortunate arrival of the galaxy's “peacekeepers” and all hell is about to break loose. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In the best episode of the season as of yet, Daredevil: Born Again is taking the gloves off as Bullseye gets his target practice on and he is relentless! Everyone is starting to get sick of Fisk, Mr. Charles included. Vanessa isn't a good listener, Sheila still making faces, BB is getting sloppier, and Matt finally shows up at a church (for info, no recompense). Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Maul is back and he's doing what he does best: getting revenge on his enemies. We're on the planet Janix and the criminal underworld is moving heavy work. Maul is moving like a methodical, thoughtful Sith as he tries to draw out his enemies. We also have a Jedi and Padawan that are vagabonds living in squalor, Maul feels he can take advantage of a young mind to further his exploits. This gritty and violent series is more in line with the Clone Wars and it's looking like Maul, a couple of Zabraks, and the remaining Mauldalorians are going to wreak havoc on Janix. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In this double episode drop of Daredevil Born Again, we have a plethora of plots vying for screen time. The Devil of Hell's Kitchen is back and Matt Murdock is dead, alive, or missing at this juncture. Mayor Fisk is doing his best DJT impersonation, AVTF is looking very similar to a certain real life below freezing organization, PTSD abounds, and Matt is still keeping his proverbial eyes on the prize, as Karen is still in the city. In the literally explosive season finale of Paradise season two, some plot lines resolve, while others stay alive. In penultimate episode of Paradise season two, episode seven sees the ending of our time with Gary, Teri as our black woman that saves the day, Jane with too much dip on her chip, Sinatra and Link link up (maybe a reunion of sorts), important people kids doing shenanigans, important people doing shenanigans, and President Cal Bradford was actually a prophet. Please! Ryan Gossling stars in Project Hail Mary, a space adventure about a man who is outward brilliance and inward cowardice are at odds with each other. I don't really wanna say too much about it, because the actual premise feels like a spoiler. If you have seen it, tells us your rating out of 10.Please! While Gary is trying to throw Xavier off the scent of his wife, we take a peak into the past and look at the life of a psychopath a.k.a., Jane. She started life as a prophecy that hast yet to be fulfilled, a daughter to a wayward mother, and a person who lives her life longing for the love of a maternal figure. Xavier and Teri's baby girl is getting impatient, while Robinson tries to protect a very disrespectful Jeremy from himself. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In another world building episode of the people outside of Paradise, we find Gary trying to live the fantasy he never could when it wasn't the apocalypse. Teri has to exercise healthy boundaries, Xavier don't trust Gary, Ennis is a jerk (maybe), Link's disciples show up, and then there's a kid named Bean. Paradise season 2 is shaping up to be the first season, but focusing on the people outside of the bunker. In this episode of Dunk and Egg, we find our protagonist simultaneously figuring out both of their worlds. Dunk is propositioned to do some point shaving, while Egg is trying to manage his only weakness of being small. While Aerion's dad is away, he don't know how to act and cruelty against humanity occurs. A fortune teller gives favorable and ominous portents of the future for our duo, while the homie Lionel is still drinking. This is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms review. Please! In this heartfelt episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, Dunk is determined to get a spot in the tourney, while having to reconcile the life and times of his former knight. The Targaryens finally make their grand entrance to Ashford, Egg is acting real sus, and Lionel is day drinking. Two episodes in and all the storytelling tropes that this show embodies are actually working in concert effortlessly in unison. The only disappointment is that there are only four more episodes left. Wonder Man on Disney Plus, a “Marvel Spotlight,” is a character driven show that centers around one struggling actor Simon Williams, and our favorite character actor (the Mandarin himself) Trevor Slattery. Simon has a secret and so does Trevor. They both are vying for roles in the same movies and places in each others hearts. This is a tremendously acted, solidly written show that was seemingly dumped all at once. Is Disney afraid to be different and is this stance hindering the creativity of everything under their umbrella? Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley have no business playing these characters with this amount of heart and earnest for an MCU tv show, but they do and they deliver. Please! Would you believe me if I told you there would be a Game of Thrones spinoff that was equal parts comedy, fish out of water, and a lone wolf and cub story combined? Of course you would think I was a liar, but I'm not. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight is a surprisingly funny, positive, and non-cynical look into the world that we've grown accustomed to being lewd, lascivious, and full of lies. Ser Duncan the Tall and his bald-headed buddy Egg are essentially trying to find a place in the world and the pilot episode craftily sets expectations for the rest of the season. Please! Rian Johnson is back on Netflix with Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and this starts off as a bit of a mystery in comparison to the prior iterations of this franchise. This star-studded cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Thomas Haden Church, and of course Daniel Craig, to name a few. This mystery centers around a Catholic Church in a small town, where a young, but troubled, upstart priest gets sent there to pay recompense and mature as a man of the cloth. Mystery ensues and our favorite guy Benoit shows up to figure out the killer in this surprisingly introspective whodunnit. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In the season one finale, Manousos and Carol do the most expected thing in their first in-person meeting: hate each other. The hive is dong an effective job keeping Carol busy, as they find new ways to propagate the RNA into the remaining 12. Manousos proves to be an agent of chaos, with a purpose and is not understanding why Carol is choosing the girl over the world. If you started watching The Upon Further Review via Pluribus, let us know in the comments, because we are happy to have you kick it with us!Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

The Hive is trying to butter up Carol with some booty, while Carol is trying to individuate Zosia to the point of having her believe in her own personhood. Meanwhile, Manousos still doesn't want any help, as his trek to meet Carol in person draws closer. This was the penultimate episode of this highly intriguing and entertaining Apple TV+ series. Keeping the end of the episode in mind, who currently has the upper hand: the Hive or Carol? Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

The gap between Carol and Manousos closes in distance, but widens in ideology as these two want the same thing and are going about it in drastically different ways. Carol is starting to feel the effects of prolonged isolation, while Manousos is rejecting the notion that the hive provides and still managing to utilize his time wisely. Please! What happens in Vegas, well, the hive knows. Carol is reeling after we see what she discovers in cold storage, while Diabaté is living the life he always wanted. The main takeaway from this episode is clearly you get so much more out of life (people, too) when you kind. Carol still is struggling with this, as cynicism and skepticism are melded with the privilege she once had. Manousos down in Paraguay gets Carol's message and finally gets activated. Please! The Netflix franchise that has been successful beyond shareholders wildest dreams is back in its finale season. Of course, they can't drop this all at once, so we get four episodes, aka, chapter one. The crew is split up doing covert missions, visiting the upside down, and some other random place that seems to be to mindful. My question to you is who is currently on deathwatch after watching the first of the last of Stranger Things? Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Carol proves that she has other human emotions than rage, as the Hive makes some changes about its “arrangement” with Carol. Nature is running its course and Carol fires up the proverbial Mystery Machine and plays Scooby-Doo trying to uncover something that's hiding in plain sight. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Episode four of the outstanding Pluribus on Apple TV+ has Carol play detective and part time experimenter, as she tries to seek the truth of what's happening with the hive. We get a minor flashback to establish one of the non-hive humans, and Carol plays fast and loose with her hypothesis derived from said experiment. Please! We are back in the Vince Staples world and boy did it get weird. This show is making a case that we need to have more shows like this, because it does all the things weird shows do, namely making you think. Centered around the death of a loved one, Vince and his family have to deal with the ramifications of death and grief that challenges them in inconceivable ways. Please! Carol finds herself in a world with no one else, a non-conformist attitude, and a killer sense of sarcasm that has her understanding that even a grenade is not off limits. Zosia, Carol's hive representative has to learn boundaries, while Carol has to wrestle with the loss of Helen. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Pluribus on Apple TV+ is a show that quickly devolves into chaos, as the world violently falls into what can be only described as a utopia. Our main character Carol is going through it, as she tries to wrap her mind around the events that are happening. The twist of this pseudo post-apocalypse is one that should be seen and not told, so if you haven't watch this yet, it's definitely worth the price of admission. Please! Predator: Badlands is the current entry into the firmly cemented Weyland-Yutaniverse and we get a coming of age story about how proving yourself to parental figures isn't just a problem for humans. As season 2 of Peacemaker on hbo max comes to a cliffhanger of a conclusion, we're left to ask but one main question: does it live up to the hype? James Gunn promised that he would be doing some things that have never been done before and to put it mildly, they kinda did that. The gang does get back together, albeit short lived, Rick Flagg is still the worst, and Vigilante needs to treat his moms better. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube
