In this episode of Dunk and Egg, we find our protagonist simultaneously figuring out both of their worlds. Dunk is propositioned to do some point shaving, while Egg is trying to manage his only weakness of being small. While Aerion's dad is away, he don't know how to act and cruelty against humanity occurs. A fortune teller gives favorable and ominous portents of the future for our duo, while the homie Lionel is still drinking. This is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms review. Please! In this heartfelt episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, Dunk is determined to get a spot in the tourney, while having to reconcile the life and times of his former knight. The Targaryens finally make their grand entrance to Ashford, Egg is acting real sus, and Lionel is day drinking. Two episodes in and all the storytelling tropes that this show embodies are actually working in concert effortlessly in unison. The only disappointment is that there are only four more episodes left. Oh yeah, we see some of the best jousting this side of A Knight's Tale. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Wonder Man on Disney Plus, a “Marvel Spotlight,” is a character driven show that centers around one struggling actor Simon Williams, and our favorite character actor (the Mandarin himself) Trevor Slattery. Simon has a secret and so does Trevor. They both are vying for roles in the same movies and places in each others hearts. This is a tremendously acted, solidly written show that was seemingly dumped all at once. Is Disney afraid to be different and is this stance hindering the creativity of everything under their umbrella? Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley have no business playing these characters with this amount of heart and earnest for an MCU tv show, but they do and they deliver. Please! Would you believe me if I told you there would be a Game of Thrones spinoff that was equal parts comedy, fish out of water, and a lone wolf and cub story combined? Of course you would think I was a liar, but I'm not. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight is a surprisingly funny, positive, and non-cynical look into the world that we've grown accustomed to being lewd, lascivious, and full of lies. Ser Duncan the Tall and his bald-headed buddy Egg are essentially trying to find a place in the world and the pilot episode craftily sets expectations for the rest of the season. Please! Stranger Things has finished (for now) and the gang has thoughts about Vecna and the Mindflayer, 11 pulling a Pa Kent from Man of Steel, noticeable absences of certain characters, the time jump, the reveal of the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, and much more! Rian Johnson is back on Netflix with Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and this starts off as a bit of a mystery in comparison to the prior iterations of this franchise. This star-studded cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Thomas Haden Church, and of course Daniel Craig, to name a few. This mystery centers around a Catholic Church in a small town, where a young, but troubled, upstart priest gets sent there to pay recompense and mature as a man of the cloth. Mystery ensues and our favorite guy Benoit shows up to figure out the killer in this surprisingly introspective whodunnit. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

In the season one finale, Manousos and Carol do the most expected thing in their first in-person meeting: hate each other. The hive is dong an effective job keeping Carol busy, as they find new ways to propagate the RNA into the remaining 12. Manousos proves to be an agent of chaos, with a purpose and is not understanding why Carol is choosing the girl over the world. If you started watching The Upon Further Review via Pluribus, let us know in the comments, because we are happy to have you kick it with us!Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

The Hive is trying to butter up Carol with some booty, while Carol is trying to individuate Zosia to the point of having her believe in her own personhood. Meanwhile, Manousos still doesn't want any help, as his trek to meet Carol in person draws closer. This was the penultimate episode of this highly intriguing and entertaining Apple TV+ series. Keeping the end of the episode in mind, who currently has the upper hand: the Hive or Carol? Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

The gap between Carol and Manousos closes in distance, but widens in ideology as these two want the same thing and are going about it in drastically different ways. Carol is starting to feel the effects of prolonged isolation, while Manousos is rejecting the notion that the hive provides and still managing to utilize his time wisely. Please! What happens in Vegas, well, the hive knows. Carol is reeling after we see what she discovers in cold storage, while Diabaté is living the life he always wanted. The main takeaway from this episode is clearly you get so much more out of life (people, too) when you kind. Carol still is struggling with this, as cynicism and skepticism are melded with the privilege she once had. Manousos down in Paraguay gets Carol's message and finally gets activated. Please! The Netflix franchise that has been successful beyond shareholders wildest dreams is back in its finale season. Of course, they can't drop this all at once, so we get four episodes, aka, chapter one. The crew is split up doing covert missions, visiting the upside down, and some other random place that seems to be to mindful. My question to you is who is currently on deathwatch after watching the first of the last of Stranger Things? Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Carol proves that she has other human emotions than rage, as the Hive makes some changes about its “arrangement” with Carol. Nature is running its course and Carol fires up the proverbial Mystery Machine and plays Scooby-Doo trying to uncover something that's hiding in plain sight. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Episode four of the outstanding Pluribus on Apple TV+ has Carol play detective and part time experimenter, as she tries to seek the truth of what's happening with the hive. We get a minor flashback to establish one of the non-hive humans, and Carol plays fast and loose with her hypothesis derived from said experiment. Please! We are back in the Vince Staples world and boy did it get weird. This show is making a case that we need to have more shows like this, because it does all the things weird shows do, namely making you think. Centered around the death of a loved one, Vince and his family have to deal with the ramifications of death and grief that challenges them in inconceivable ways. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Carol finds herself in a world with no one else, a non-conformist attitude, and a killer sense of sarcasm that has her understanding that even a grenade is not off limits. Zosia, Carol's hive representative has to learn boundaries, while Carol has to wrestle with the loss of Helen. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

Pluribus on Apple TV+ is a show that quickly devolves into chaos, as the world violently falls into what can be only described as a utopia. Our main character Carol is going through it, as she tries to wrap her mind around the events that are happening. The twist of this pseudo post-apocalypse is one that should be seen and not told, so if you haven't watch this yet, it's definitely worth the price of admission. Please! Predator: Badlands is the current entry into the firmly cemented Weyland-Yutaniverse and we get a coming of age story about how proving yourself to parental figures isn't just a problem for humans. Both Yautja and synths are wanting to please their parent (or Mother) and not divert from their separate missions, but Dek and Thia realize they stand a better chance of survival if they work together. Please! As season 2 of Peacemaker on hbo max comes to a cliffhanger of a conclusion, we're left to ask but one main question: does it live up to the hype? James Gunn promised that he would be doing some things that have never been done before and to put it mildly, they kinda did that. The gang does get back together, albeit short lived, Rick Flagg is still the worst, and Vigilante needs to treat his moms better. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

It feels like it's been a long time since we got some GOT, but here we are! A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms drops 1/18/26 and during NYCC we got the official teaser trailer! The tall tale that became a legend is the tagline, as we see Sir Duncan the Tall and another Aegon making their way through one of our favorite worlds to explore. With HOTD S3 dropping next summer, this six episode series will be a great holdover until we get to see the Dance of the Dragons. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

One Battle After Another is a movie that packs so much stuff in it, that you would think it would be doing way too much. However, this movie balances nearly every current issue we are dealing with in America in this fictional masterpiece. Teyana Taylor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Wood Harris, Regina Hall, Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn, Tony Goldwyn, and Chase Infiniti, are among the many players in this movie that are giving some of their best on-screen performances! Along with Sinners, this is definitely in the run for movie of the year. Please! Subscribe where we are, especially here on YouTube

We reviewed Peacemaker Season 2, episodes 5 and 6 together, and Chris is very ignorant of his surroundings. The alternate dimension secret gets revealed, Vigilante likes to save things, Adebayo thinks she's Jill Scott and wants to take a long walk, Economos can't keep a secret, and Harcourt takes a ride. In the season finale, we actually have cliffhangers and unanswered questions! The Lost Boys are finally growing up, Morrow looks like Martin when he fought The Hitman Hearns, Kirsch and Eins get put in their place, and the biggest Boy has been off his meds. In the comments, let us know what them to explore in season two. Will get some reference to the greater franchise, Predator sighting, will the xenomorphs leave the island? Will they all not leave the island? Can't wait!www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

Him (2025) dropped and we discuss what we liked, disliked, and were totally confused by when it come to this MonkeyPaw Production joint. Great acting can't make up for some obvious storytelling shortcomings and visual can't outweigh the verbal. We also get into some news from Spider-Man Brand New Day, FCC nightmare via Jimmy Kimmel and Disney, and some DC news.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#him #spidermanbrandnewday #thebatman2

In the penultimate episode of Alien: Earth, we have the emergence of a new chest-burster, Yutani Seal Team 6, what Kirsch's plan was all along, and what could easily mark the demise of our favorite trillionaire, Boy Kavalier. The odds are clearly not in anyone's favor, as the Lost Boys all experience their loss of innocence at the same time. In the comments, let us know who's the bigger menace: Kirsch or Wendy?www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

These two episodes of Peacemaker are two drastically different pieces of work, that are still aligned with the overall premise of the show so far: will Peaemaker give in to his wants to be loved or his need to deal with his hurt. From a competent Chris getting showered with love in the alt-dimension, to his love (allegedly) dropping a dime on him in the real world. In the words of Paramore, “Ain't it fun living in the real world,” and Peacemaker has to decide which one will real to him.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#peacemaker #johncena #jamesgunn

In another awesome episode of Alien: Earth, the disrespect is being doled out on many fronts. Wendy is upset, Boy plays with his feet in a meeting, her brother suddenly would like to leave the island, Morrow is whispering to Slightly, toodles to Tootles (Arthur too), and Kirsch is the real threat!www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

This flashback episode of Alien: Earth gives us what we all wanted: on Alien movie on the small screen. We finally get some backstory for our favorite company man Morrow, we get to see how the crew meets their untimely demise, and new Yutani has cool, futuristic praetorian guards.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

This show toes the line with humor and heart, because there are some incredibly funny bits. Some scenes are very hard to watch, but James Gunn strikes a balance between ridiculous and serious. Peacemaker is still cleaning up from his super fun adult time and altercation with his alternate universal self. The 11th St Gang have the most odd kickback ever. Tim Meadows is still the goat of deadpan comedy!www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#peacemaker #johncena #jamesgunn

While episode four is light on action, it's heavy on plotting, because everyone is trying to jockey for position. The Lost Boys are simultaneously finding their way and losing their minds. Boy Kavalier and Morrow have one terrible thing in common. Meanwhile, Kirsch is probably the smartest and most clever being on this show. www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

The premiere of Peacemaker Season 2 did it's best “The Boys” impression, while showing us the crew is (or not) handling the ramifications of how season one concluded. Peacemaker aka Chris Smith can only handle his brokenness is by ostensibly cosplaying as himself.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#peacemaker #johncena #jamesgunn

Episode 3 of Alien: Earth pulls back and explains what's happening to the best character on the show, Morrow. Boy Kavalier is upping the creep factor, we have our first inkling of a sibling rivalry and the adults on the show (Kirsch included) voices are not being fully heard. Oh yeah, we get a Yutani update from Yutani herself.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

Alien: Earth on FX is a demonstration on how to correctly expand the lore of a franchise. With a cast of all new characters, we embark on the return of the Maginot and trouble is afoot. The species are the mission and they just happened upon a xenomorph. Of course, people are going to meet their maker.www.theuponfurtherreview.comIG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#alienearth #alien #aliens #predator

It's been 10 years since the debacle that was fan4stic and we thought Micheal B. Jordan would never be in a comic book movie again. Fantastic Four: First Steps is a celebration of Marvel's first family in a way that honors the legend of Jack Kirby and illustrates the determination of Kevin Feige. Matt Shakman (friend of the pod) directs this visually stunning homage to the space race 60's, world of tomorrow-esque look into this alternate universe's idealism, that's anchored by Sue Storm and the rest of the Fantastic Four. Clipse: Let God Sort ‘Em Out, album rollout and subsequent release has been nothing short of perfect! The album definitely harkens back to a much simpler time in our lives and evokes feelings of unrequited hip hop nostalgia. This is the beginning of the DCU's foray into a shared universe and Superman is first at bat. We'll be discussinour initial impressions of the movie and we will be spoiling the entirety of James Gunn's love letter to the immigrant alien in tights and a cape! The Justice Gang, Mr Terrific, and all the other characters in this film really are masterfully handled and will give way to the next projects, without being super heavy handed about it. In what is most likely the series finale of Ironheart, we get several tie-ins to the greater MCU with the mystic arts, Kamar-Taj, and Dr. Strange being mentioned. We have some more magic users in the series, The Hood's hood is from a different place and time, and we actually get the most evil entity ever in the MCU, chopping it up over some pizza.IG: theuponfurtherreviewFB: The Upon Further ReviewTikTok: theuponfurtherreview#ironheart #mcu #ironman #thehood #mephisto

After the success of Top Gun: Maverick, the creative team swapped actors and modes of transportation to make basically the same movie. And we can't lie, the formula works! F1: The Movie is the epitome of a summertime movie: beautiful people, action, a grizzled vet, a young brash upstart, and a little bit of sabotage. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris have to work together in a tale as old as time: will the cocky rookie listen and respect the experienced vet. This 2:25 hour movie works as a cinematic advertisement for F1, as they are trying to bring this global phenomenon to more eyes in the States.
