High n' Dry Podcast

This week, the creature that runs the universe while looking suspiciously like the Honeycomb monster gives the philosophers $50,000, a high-powered sniper rifle, and offers them use of his time machine.  What do they do?  Comedian Reece Merritt joins the show, and together they figure out the best use for a time-traveling sniper rifle, and who would win when Quasimodo goes toe-to-toe with Leatherface!

You're sticking a Q-tip in your ear, even though everyone tells you not to.  You dig too far, and your human settings pop up. You can now adjust to your heart's content.  What do you change?  Then, the Captain himself, Levi Ackerman takes on the galaxy's cutest robot, Wall-E!  Author L.E. Reiner joins the fun to figure it out.  

This week, the philosophers discover a genie in a bottle, and they each get three wishes.  And all of their wishes are intelligent, well thought out, and to the benefit of mankind... Then, SpongeBob goes toe-to-toe with the leader of the Foot Clan--Shredder.  

"I don't want to live on this planet anymore."  It's the battle cry of a generation.  This week, dreams come true on High n' Dry Podcast.  An alien race has agreed to adopt the philosophers.  Any alien race from fiction, who do they choose?  Then, it's Isabela of Encanto versus Nemesis of the Resident Evil franchise.  Buckle up!

High n' Dry Podcast has returned!  This week, everyone picks out their preferred dystopia to live in, and the philosophers discover that a pair of rollerskates is a "must-have" in any post-apocalyptic hellscape.  Then, author Jay Darkmoore lends a hand answering who would win in a fight between Duke Nukem and Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls!  

This week, the High n' Dry Podcast asks, what is a person without their memories?  If a machine were to wipe out all experiences and lessons, what would be left?  Author J.D. Wheeldon joins the show to talk it out.  Then, King of Shroom Punk Papa Smurf goes toe-to-toe with the ultimate rodent--Jerry Mouse!

Alien.     

What kind of potato would you be?  Now that's settled, will computers ever take over the world?  Then, bookstagrammer Holly Wyrd helps decide if The Grinch can steal Christmas from King of Generation X's angst--Tyler Durden!

This week, the philosophers ascend the steps of Mount Olympus to claim the mantle of gods!  What are they the gods of?  Nathan Scammell of Mistpeakgaming joins the show to talk it out.  Then, mischievous white male Kevin McCallister tries his hand at fending off an assault from his sworn enemy--Krampus!  It's High n' Dry Podcast, y'all!

Things are looking pretty dismal out there; everyone's gone crazy and the world is heating up.  So this week, the philosophers are taking all bets!  Does humanity have 1000 years left in the tank?  Then, Scrooge McDuck tries his hand against Guy of Free Guy.  Featuring author Nathan Scammell!  

This week, High n' Dry explains that all Yoga is simply the quest to achieve self-mouth-stuff.  After that, they talk about the shipping crisis, moving in with significant others, and what their personal heavens look like!  Luke of Talk Far Gaming joins up to discuss who would win if Gomez Adams and Venom's Carnage decided to step in the ring!    

What's the biggest lie you've ever believed?  Santa?  Happily ever after?  This week, comedian Reece Merritt joins the philosophers to talk it out.  Then, High n' Dry shamelessly takes advantage of October's theatrical release schedule!  It's Michael Myers vs. James Bond!

Look.  The High n' Dry Philosophers don't care how you get your rocks off, but don't you dare tell them that ASMR isn't sexual!  This week, the philosophers ride in on a tidal wave from Florida to Vegas to discuss their purpose in life.  Then, it's Bender Bending Rodriguez versus the King of Propane--Hank Hill!    

What truth do you have the hardest time accepting?  This week, author Loki DeWitt joins the show to talk it out.  The philosophers laugh, joke, and discuss what one of them would be capable of doing in exchange for immortality.  Then, Richard O'Connell of The Mummy takes on John Carpenter's The Thing!

In this week's episode, The High n' Dry Philosophers learn that author Nathan Scammell's mother would forget him for about 5 million pounds, and the guys find that to be the most entertaining thing they've ever heard on the show.  After that, Harley Quinn and Sterling Archer fight to see who's less damaged.  

This week, the philosophers discover that the thiccness of your ass directly correlates to the strength and duration of your midlife crisis!  Then, with the help of author Elizabeth Suggs, they determine that Katniss Everdeen may have a lot bigger emotional issues to deal with than some guy in a sweater;  It's Everdeen versus Krueger!   

This week, we have a meandering episode that takes the philosophers through Dune, Republican Dune,  Elvis' appropriation,  One Direction as enemies of the podcast, the hustle lifestyle rejection, and intergalactic Tinder.  By the end, Original host Tre helps figure out what will happen when we discover we are not alone in the universe.  Then, Black Widow fights a T-Rex!

This week, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Dom Toretto get into a screaming match at an Olive Garden, and Dom tries to beat Obi to death with a wrench.  But he forgets who has the high ground...  Also, Luke of Talk Far Gaming comes by to discuss what it means to live a good life.  

It is the final episode of the High n' Dry Podcast Tournament!  Austin Powers, Lady Dimitrescu, and Beetlejuice go toe to toe.  But first, author Mike Salt returns to the show to discuss how bringing a shank on a subway alters the thinking of your average bystander.  

On the second semi-final round of the High n' Dry Podcast tournament, Lin Lustig returns to answer the tough questions: what two sentences would you give to your younger self and who would win in a fantasy fight between Beetlejuice and Austin Powers.   There are twists, turns, laughter, and tears.  And it all ends in a way it's never ended before!

This week, Author and Publisher Garrett K. Jones stops by the show to help the Philosophers figure out if the grass is indeed greener in the lives of our favorite fictional characters, and they discover that if you're Mark Wahlberg in Boogie Nights, then yes... yes, the grass is greener.  After that, demon doll Annabelle goes toe-to-toe with debonaire super-spy James Bond!  

If you could be a fly on the wall, what would the people in your life say about you?  This week, the High n' Dry Philosophers bring on author and editor Jonathan Reddoch to work out this particular dose of self-reflection.  Then, Sonic the Hedgehog tries to find out how many rings he can get out of Marvel's Loki!
