-Does the clutter or mess in your home cause you to feel stressed or overwhelmed? -Do you feel disorganized, scrambling around to find that thing you just hand in your hands? -Is it hard to ask for help because you feel obligated to take control of all the household needs? -Are you unable to prioritize what truly matters because of a never ending to-do list? Anyone have their hand raised?! Welcome in! You’re in the right place. My goal for this podcast is to help us cultivate: *A healthy God-centered approach to simplification. *Stronger decluttering and organization skills. *Easy and manageable home and life routines. *And all that falls within. Hi, I’m Kristina Borseti. A Decluttering Coach & Home Organizer, wife, mom, and former collector of all the things. In my pre-decluttered life, I held on to baby clothes. That thing that needed to get fixed. The jeans I may one day fit in ”after I lose 10 lbs”. I said ‘yes’ to all the social events and all the shiny business opportunities; leaving me with a lot of stuff on my plate, and not a lot of time to do anything I really enjoyed. Most days I felt overwhelmed, overworked, over everything, until that final straw fell. Breaking me down through a string of unavoidable health and family wellbeing issues. But it was in those struggles God helped me to see how much physical and mental clutter I had been white knuckling. I was forced to laid it down, to “let go, and let God”. And in this, all things were made new; a shift in perspective that changed everything. Taking me from a cluttered life and mindset to grace, peace and more time. Yes this sounds unrealistically easy, and you’d be right. There was work that needed to be done, and we’ll visit all of that right here. Here’s hope you can hold on to while we navigate this journey together… You can have… *a less cluttered and more organized life. *a healthier relationship with God, self, family, friends. *and more time for those goals on your list like rest, joy, or creating impact. But, hey, we gotta clear all that clutter first. So do me a favor, grab yourself a sharpie and a couple of boxes , and let’s get organized on purpose! Happy Holidays, friends! I love the holidays but every year since having my daughter the season seems to whiz by and within it a flurry of expectations, obligations, blessings and a waylay of emotions to boot. Do you feel the same? Regular daily life seems to be on hold as we working mommas wield our Octopus arms to juggle all the balls in the air! But some times balls drop due to events that were completely unexpected.  I faced a week like this and the only thing that was able to help right my heart was hanging on tight to God's hopes and promises through his infallible Word. Revisiting one of my favorite daily devotional books helped lift my Spirit and keep me grounded, you know, after the "cookie conundrum" of 2024.  I pray these devotionals give you the rest and restore your heart, mind and might this holiday or any season you are feeling overwhelmed.  IN THIS EPISODE The KJV Daily Devotional https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/the-kjv-daily-devotional-inspiration-and-encouragement-from-the-beloved-king-james-version_barbour-staff/18677435/#isbn=1683224612  NEXT STEPS MIND OVER MESS 1-Hour Virtual Decluttering & Strategy Session: Available only to podcast listeners for $67 USD through 12/31/24. 2 spaces left. Hey friend! Raise your hand if you do not feel like Mary Poppins every day! Me either. Some times no spoons of sugar (aka extra large cups of coffee) or singing a song (aka tuning into my favorite playlist) help push me into deep cleaning or purging mode. Some times what we need is a little push! A "what if..." story to help us fake it till we make it. Especially if we aren't sure where to begin! What am I talking about?  5 play-pretend stories I've used once or twice in to help my clients (and myself) see a bigger picture, beyond the layers of unfolded laundry. Beyond the broken unfixable items laying around. Beyond the rooms I have yet to and don't want to clean (hello, bathrooms).  I pray this motivates you to take a step beyond the clutter and have a little fun in the process.
