What if the rejection that broke your heart was actually protecting you and redirecting you toward something greater? On this episode of The Sisterhood of S.W.E.A.T., Linda Mitchell sits down with powerhouse vocalist Pia Toscano for a conversation about faith, rejection, surrender, resilience and learning to trust the path you never planned. Pia first captured national attention as a frontrunner on Season 10 of American Idol. Her unexpected ninth-place elimination stunned viewers and judges alike and became one of the most talked-about eliminations in the show's history. But Pia's story didn't end when that door closed. She went on to tour with Jennifer Lopez, collaborate and perform with legendary producer David Foster, and become a frequent touring performer with world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli. Today, Pia has built a community of more than one million followers and is preparing to head back on tour with Bocelli. Now she's telling the story behind those unexpected turns through her deeply personal new single, "Redirected." Co-written with Stacey Kelleher, the song grew from a phrase Pia had repeated to herself for years: "Rejection is God's protection." Pia shares how she came to understand that closed doors, heartbreak and unanswered prayers weren't necessarily setbacks. Sometimes they were leading her somewhere she couldn't yet see. Linda and Pia also talk about surrendering control, looking back at the defining moments of her career, finding purpose in disappointment, and Pia's newest and perhaps most meaningful chapter yet: preparing to welcome her first baby in December. This conversation is for anyone who has ever wondered why something she desperately wanted didn't happen. Maybe you weren't rejected. Maybe you were redirected. IN THIS EPISODE Pia and Linda talk about the powerful story behind "Redirected," why Pia believes rejection can be God's protection, her shocking American Idol elimination, what came after Idol, touring with Jennifer Lopez, working with David Foster, performing around the world with Andrea Bocelli, surrendering the life you planned, trusting closed doors and unanswered prayers, preparing for motherhood, and finding the courage to believe there may be something greater ahead. Summary In this episode, Pia Toscano shares her inspiring journey from American Idol rejection to international success, emphasizing the importance of trust, surrender, and redirection in life and career. Discover how embracing setbacks can lead to unexpected opportunities and personal growth. Paul Redirected to Macedonia: A Divine Call to Purpose! "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." Romans 8:14 In the heart of his missionary journey, Paul found himself at the crossroads of uncertainty. In Acts 16:6-10, we witness the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit redirected him to Macedonia. Picture Paul, filled with zeal and ambition, yet seeking God's guidance. “Impulses are loud,” I can hear him reflect, “but the Spirit speaks softly, with assurance.” When faith is our compass, we learn to wait for that gentle nudge of divine direction — letting our lives be led, not driven. As Paul received that vision in the night, “Come and help us,” he didn't hesitate. His heart echoed the sentiments of Romans 8:14, which reminds us that those led by the Spirit are truly children of God. In that pivotal moment, Paul's journey transformed from a mere travel plan into a holy mission steeped in purpose. Each step taken in faith illuminated the path of others, showcasing God's grace in action. Galatians 5:16 says, "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." This calling to Macedonia wasn't merely an excursion; it was a glimpse into divine orchestration. Paul's obedience paved the way for the Gospel to reach the shores of Europe, forever altering the landscape of faith. Just as he sought the Spirit's guidance, we are invited to do the same, embracing Galatians 5:16, which urges us to “walk by the Spirit.” Such a walk requires sensitivity to God's leading — a deep trust that surpasses our understanding. Today, we ask ourselves: Are we being led by the Spirit in our lives? Or are we succumbing to the fleeting whims of impulse? With each choice we face, may our hearts resonate with the truth that guidance is indeed “grace in motion.” Let us strive to tune our ears to that still, small voice that directs us toward God's prepared works. Amen. Psalm 143:10 says, "Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your good Spirit lead me on level ground." Amen. Prayer for the Day!Heavenly Father, I thank You for the example of Paul, who demonstrated unwavering faith amidst uncertainty. Holy Spirit, lead me into the prepared works You have laid out for me today. Reveal to me the Macedonia moments that await, and fill me with courage to pursue them. Lord, let my life be a testimony of Your divine guidance; may I always be ready to lend a hand when called upon. In Jesus name. Amen. https://maglife.org

This event, which occurred approximately 2.47 billion years ago, could still be influencing comet activity today. Researchers used data from the European Space Agency's Gaia mission to refine the distances involved and suggest that the gravitational perturbations from HD 7977 temporarily dominated the generation of new comets.Changing our map of the Milky Way GalaxyAstronomers have redrawn the map of our Milky Way galaxy, moving its outer arms up to 10% further away than previously estimated. This revised picture is based on observations of gamma-ray bursts and the subsequent echoes of X-rays that helped to measure distances within the galaxy. New techniques have allowed for a clearer understanding of the Milky Way's structure, confirming the existence of its four spiral arms.Evidence of vast hidden magma systems inside MarsNew findings suggest that Mars once hosted extensive magmatic systems beneath its surface, despite the absence of plate tectonics. Data from NASA's InSight mission has revealed a previously unidentified boundary layer deep within the Martian crust, indicating complex geological processes that may have allowed the Red Planet to develop a habitable environment. This challenges long-held assumptions about the geological capabilities of rocky planets without tectonic activity. The Science RobertA new study indicates that the mental health of high school peers can significantly affect individual mental health outcomes. Additionally, research finds no link between paracetamol use during pregnancy and the risk of autism or ADHD. A detailed analysis of a fossilised pterosaur wing reveals insights into its diet, while scientists discover new methods to control quantum light sources, bringing us closer to practical quantum technologies.1. The renewed release of information surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's network has highlighted a striking shift among groups that previously positioned themselves as vocal crusaders against child exploitation and elite corruption. During the height of Epstein's second arrest in 2019, many of the loudest online voices—particularly those aligned with the QAnon movement—used Epstein's case as a rallying point, framing it as proof of a hidden global cabal and leveraging public outrage to fuel a sprawling conspiracy narrative. However, as real legal developments, survivor testimony, and documented links to high-profile individuals have resurfaced in recent months, those same factions have largely retreated from the discussion, offering little public support for transparency or accountability.Critics argue that the earlier conflation of the Epstein case with sensationalized conspiracy content served to obscure legitimate evidence and undermine public focus at a critical moment, ultimately benefiting the powerful figures and institutions implicated in the scandal. Today, instead of calling for investigations or defending survivors, many former activists have shifted to skepticism about Epstein's crimes or have echoed narratives minimizing Ghislaine Maxwell's role. The contrast between their previous public posture and their current silence has raised questions about motives, credibility, and whether the distraction generated at the peak of the case was accidental or strategic.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Infamous pro-Trump conspiracy theorists have been 'strangely muted' on the Epstein scandal - Alternet.orgBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

What if the overwhelm you feel isn't just from doing too much… but from carrying things God never asked you to carry? In this special Resurrection Sunday devotional episode of Organized On Purpose, I'm sharing a very personal testimony. For years I lived busy, chasing purpose, trying to prove I was enough, and building my identity around work, achievement, and what the world said mattered. On the outside life looked full—but internally I often felt empty, stretched thin, and spiritually disconnected. In this episode I share: How God protected me even before I fully knew Him The quiet ways worldly priorities can crowd out faith How busyness and striving can become spiritual clutter The moment God began redirecting my heart Encouragement if you feel overwhelmed in midlife, motherhood, or home management If you are a Christian woman trying to balance faith, family, home, and responsibilities while wondering why you still feel tired, this episode is for you. Resurrection Sunday points us to the price Jesus paid so we could be forgiven and brought back to God. His death shows His love, and His resurrection shows His victory. My prayer is that as you reflect on your own life, you see His grace, His patience, and His invitation to walk closely with Him. Scripture referenced: Isaiah 30:1-3,18 Jeremiah 29:11-13 Psalm 23:6

From 100 Rejections to Real Purpose | Community, Career & Resilience In this episode of Dreams In Drive, Rana Campbell sits down with Brittney Oliver, founder of Lemons to Lemonade, for a powerful conversation about turning rejection into purpose and building meaningful community when the traditional path doesn't work. Before creating one of the most impactful platforms for professionals of color, Brittney faced over 100 job rejections while trying to break into New York City's PR industry. Despite being qualified and prepared, she repeatedly heard "no." Instead of letting rejection define her, she chose to build the community she wished existed. In this honest and inspiring conversation, Rana and Brittney discuss what it really takes to keep going when your journey doesn't look like everyone else's. You'll hear about: Navigating racism and cultural barriers in corporate spaces Turning rejection into redirection The difference between "community" as a buzzword and real connection Building impact without millions of followers Creating inclusive spaces in Nashville Navigating grief after losing a parent Why Plan B doesn't mean you failed Measuring success through purpose, relationships, and impact Brittney also shares how Lemons to Lemonade has helped thousands of professionals find opportunity, confidence, and belonging — and why your worth can't be measured by follower counts. If you've ever felt overlooked, underestimated, or unsure about your timeline, this episode is a reminder that your story isn't over. Sometimes, rejection is just the beginning of something greater.

In this message, Pastor Marco explores Acts 16 to illustrate how God's divine purposes often outrank our personal plans. By retracing Paul's second missionary journey, the teaching highlights the importance of living a Spirit-led life that is willing to embrace interruptions and closed doors as forms of redirection.
Have you ever felt that quiet stirring inside — the kind that whispers, “Something is shifting… something is changing… something is coming?” Not in an anxious way, but in a holy, gentle, almost mysterious way. Maybe nothing in your life looks different on the outside. But inside… you feel the nudge. The restlessness. The sense that God is preparing you for something new — even if you can't articulate it yet. In this episode, Petia shares a deeply personal story of sensing God's shift in a quiet moment after putting her daughter to sleep — and the surprising peace mixed with restlessness that followed. If you've ever felt like your comfort is shrinking, doors are closing, or desires are changing, this episode will bring clarity, comfort, and biblical grounding. Inside this episode, we explore: Holy discomfort and why God often removes comfort we've outgrown How closed doors are divine protection and redirection Why new desires often signal the Holy Spirit's guidance The purpose behind delays, pauses, and “waiting seasons” Why shifting relationships can be evidence of a new calling The role of surrender in stepping into your next season How God's peace can guide you even in the unknown Scriptures referenced: Ecclesiastes 3:1 1 Kings 17 Revelation 3:7 Philippians 2:13 Isaiah 26:3 You'll walk away feeling seen, encouraged, and reminded that you are not lost — you are being led. The contrast between their previous public posture and their current silence has raised questions about motives, credibility, and whether the distraction generated at the peak of the case was accidental or strategic.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Infamous pro-Trump conspiracy theorists have been 'strangely muted' on the Epstein scandal - Alternet.org

A lesson on the way that the Gospel redirects our life in Christ, transforming us from sinners into saints who desire above all to obey and glorify God in Christ Jesus. The sermon centers on the divine origin and unchangeable nature of the gospel, as defended by Paul in Galatians 1:11–24, emphasizing that the gospel is not a human invention but a revelation from Jesus Christ, authenticated by Paul's radical transformation from persecutor to apostle. It contrasts the true gospel—rooted in God's sovereign grace and received through divine revelation—with man-made religions and cults that distort salvation by adding human works, thereby undermining the sufficiency of Christ's atonement. Paul's testimony, from his zealous persecution of the church to his Damascus Road encounter and subsequent three-year preparation in Arabia, illustrates how genuine faith results in a complete inward transformation that inevitably produces outward obedience and a life devoted to glorifying God. The sermon underscores that salvation is entirely God's work—from election before creation to final glorification—highlighting the believer's identity not in past failures but in Christ's righteousness, and calls both unbelievers and believers to rest wholly in the gospel's power to redeem and transform.
Send us a textWhat if the root of all psychological suffering isn't where your energy flows, but what you believe about yourself? In this profound deep dive into A Course in Miracles Chapter 2, Hope Johnson unpacks Jesus's radical correction of Freudian psychology, showing how humanity has misunderstood the mind for centuries.✨ Instead of endlessly managing psychic energy through therapy, sublimation, or control, Jesus offers a stunningly simple solution: “The only way out is to stop miscreating now and accept the Atonement for miscreations of the past.”This present-moment approach reveals that what we've called problems, failures, or mistakes never actually happened in truth.Hope weaves Jesus's teachings on psychic energy with real-life examples—from triggering conversations to food beliefs to personal loss. She shares a powerful story of losing her home to a lava flow and greeting this seeming catastrophe with joy, showing how perception alone transforms experience.
