The Oblivion Bar: A Nerd-Culture Podcast is hands down one of the best comic podcasts out there. The chemistry between the hosts, Chris and Aaron, is amazing and their opinions are always spot on. Every time a new episode drops, I find myself excited to listen because I know I'm in for a treat.

What sets this podcast apart is the incredible energy that Chris and Aaron bring to every episode. Their friendship shines through in their banter, and you can feel their genuine excitement for the topics they discuss. It's infectious and makes for a truly enjoyable listening experience.

One of the standout aspects of this podcast is the quality of their guest interviews. They have managed to secure some incredible guests from the comic and film industry, making each episode even more interesting and engaging. The Battle Royale episodes are a particular highlight, offering fascinating discussions and insights.

The banter between Chris and Aaron keeps things entertaining, and their honest reviews are refreshing. They have a knack for analyzing movies, TV shows, comics, and all things nerd with depth and insight. I especially loved their recent review of "The Flash," where Chris's passionate dislike added an extra layer of humor.

My only complaint would be that sometimes they dive deep into specific topics or comics that not everyone may be familiar with. However, this is just a minor issue as they always provide enough context to keep listeners engaged.

In conclusion, The Oblivion Bar: A Nerd-Culture Podcast is a must-listen for any comic book or nerd culture enthusiast. With its entertaining banter, insightful analysis, high-quality interviews, and genuine passion for all things nerdy, this podcast consistently delivers solid content that will keep you coming back for more. Don't miss out on this gem of a podcast!

“In a world of inhumane reality, dreams are the only humane sanctuary left.”We are back with another MIDNIGHT REWIND episode, a new segment on the show wherein we celebrate our favorite anime classics! Good, bad, or indifferent, this is just an excuse for us to celebrate Japanese animation. This week, we are discussing the 2006 anime classic from director Satoshi Kon: 'Paprika'.Adapted from Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1993 novel of the same name and set in the distant future of 2012, a newly created device called the "DC Mini" allows the user to view people's dreams. 'Paprika' is about a battle between a dream terrorist who steals a device that allows others to share their dreams and causes nightmares for everyone. A research psychologist, Doctor Chiba Atsuko, attempts to enter the dream world and becomes Paprika, a dream detective alter-ego, to investigate these cases.Follow us on InstagramFollow us on TwitterFollow us on ThreadsFollow us on BlueSkyLike us on FacebookConsider supporting us over on PatreonDownload the BEST digital comic book reader OmnibusStock up on G Fuel (CODE: OBP)Thank you DreamKid for our Oblivion Bar musicThank you Kevin Zeigler for our Oblivion Bar artSend us a Text Message.
