Derek Guy and Peter Zottolo return for the third installment of their quarterly AMA series, generously sponsored by our friends at Bezel. This time, they go deep on fabric: navy sport coats, green double-breasted suits, the five tweeds they would choose from scratch, and the right cloth for a balmacaan. They also revisit bespoke mistakes, the tailors still on their wish lists, shoes for serious walking, the difference between personal style and costume, and what actually reads from across the room. Plus: date-night clothes without tailoring, keeping pet hair off your wardrobe, finding occasions to wear the clothes you already own, the appeal of authentic workwear, their favorite versions of menswear staples, and why the person you imagine in the mirror may not be the person everyone else sees. They close by designing the elusive middle-ground jacket—dressier than a chore coat, easier than a sport coat, and made for the romantic life of a writer. * Sponsored by Bezel - the trusted marketplace for buying, selling, or insuring your next luxury watch ** Fabric Recommendations Navy Sport Coat Derek's Picks: Holland & Sherry Mesh & Hopsack Blazers Huddersfield or Smiths Mock Leno Harrison Spring Ram stitched hopsack Holland & Sherry cashmere doeskin Hainsworth doeskin Fox serge Peter's Picks: Hopsack or similar Spring Ram 16oz for fall/winter or Finmeresco 12oz for summer, I have experience with Moorhouse and while it's much softer it's too prone to fraying Green double-breasted suit in the South Derek's Picks: Harrisons Spring Ram Huddersfield Fine Worsted Super Gaberdine Peter's Picks: Spring Ram 12oz if you can stand it, or Isca 8oz if you can't. message me: what did you take away from this episode? Ep 111 (http://ibit.ly/Re5V) Nicole Hainsworth on from regional wards to how to make CoCE better for students#PhDMidwives #research #midwifery #regional #CoCE #undergradstudents #assessmentresearch link t.ly/YQD0jOne of the fastest ways to improve maternity care is also the simplest: notice what doesn't sit right, then ask a better question. We sit down with midwife and academic Nicole Haynesworth to trace how a career built across regional New South Wales, a high acuity UK hospital, and university teaching turns curiosity into real change for women, babies, and the clinicians learning the craft. We talk about what Nicole brought back from the UK, including a different approach to post-caesarean care that keeps mother and baby together, and how asking “why are we doing it this way?” can shift practice when you involve the right stakeholders. From there, we move into midwifery education, continuity of care, and what Nicole's PhD reveals about students learning best when they feel safe, trusted, and connected to the woman's experience, rather than just being assessed on tasks. Along the way, we unpack practical teaching tools such as shared goal-setting, reflective practice, and making the “hidden” skills of advocacy, autonomy, and accountability explicit. We also look ahead to program improvement in Graduate Entry midwifery, supporting clinicians returning to practice, and the research questions still driving Nicole, including synthetic oxytocin policies and induction, epidural-related fever pathways, and gestational diabetes. If you care about evidence-based midwifery, continuity of care, and better feedback loops between women and the system, you'll get plenty to take back to your own practice. What if ADHD isn't a bug in your marriage — but a feature? In this episode of the Get Your Marriage On Podcast, I sit down with Kamden Hainsworth, an ADHD coach and host of the Busy Brained Saint, to unpack how ADHD uniquely impacts desire, intimacy, novelty, rejection sensitivity, and emotional regulation in marriage. Kamden shares her mid-life burn out, late ADHD diagnosis, and how understanding her brain completely transformed her marriage and sex life. Together, they explore why ADHD can amplify desire differences, why boredom feels unbearable in intimacy, how rejection sensitivity dysphoria shows up in sex, and how novelty can be a powerful connector (when done with trust and communication). Whether you're the ADHD partner or married to one, this conversation offers clarity, compassion, and practical insight into building a more playful, honest, and deeply connected sexual relationship. Episode 185:For today's guest episode it's a warm welcome to the podcast for Christine and Jonathan Hainsworth, co-authors of the recently published book ‘The Shakespeare Ladies Club'.Their book explores the lives of four ladies who were crucial in ensuring the original work of Shakespeare was not forgotten in the 18th Century and beyond. In 1736, these three ladies of quality, two from the aristocracy and one a writer who ran a stationery shop, formed the ‘Shakespeare Ladies Club'. All three were so enraptured by the plays of William Shakespeare that they met to read and discuss his them and his genius. Not content with this, they used their power and influence to campaign for a statue of their literary idol to be placed in Westminster Abbey. They were successful in that endeavour, but their role in these achievements has never been properly recognised. Along with other scholars Christine and Johnathn's book is part of the process of putting that right. It is a very entertaining and informative read that I thoroughly enjoyed as I hope you will our conversation with just a taster of some of the details Christine and Jonathan have revealed.Christine and Jonathan Hainsworth live in Adelaide, South Australia and have a passion for historical investigation and challenging the 'conventional wisdom' regarding famous historical subjects.Christine spent several decades working for the Australian government in social services. Her work on a program to re-connect lone parents with training, education and employment opportunities gave her a unique insight into family and societal challenges.Jonathan was educated in Britain and Australia and has over thirty years of experience as a high school teacher of Modern and Ancient History, and English Literature. He is a graduate of The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia.Link to Christine and Jonathan's website: https://hainsworthwardagius.comLink to The Shakespeare Ladies Club on Amberley Publishing: https://www.amberley-books.comLink to The Shakespeare Ladies Club on Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shakespeare-Ladies-Club-Forgotten-Rescued/dp/1398127442/ref=sr_1_1?Support the podcast at:www.thehistoryofeuropeantheatre.comwww.patreon.com/thoetpwww.ko-fi.com/thoetp Hosted on Acast. Send us a textAfter earning an Ian Charleson Award nomination for her Hermia in the Bridge Theatre's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Isis Hainsworth has continued to take on some of Shakespeare's best loved roles and is now preparing to take on the role of Isabella in Measure For Measure for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Here Isis will be making her RSC debut where she's set to star alongside a stellar cast that includes the likes of Tom Mothersdale, Oli Higginson and Emily Benjamin. The production will also see rising star director Emily Burns return to the RSC following her five-star rated Love's Labour's Lost last year also at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. As a lesser-performed Shakespeare play, this is set to be a must-see show of the season with the RSC continuing it's latest season of shows. In this new interview, Isis Hainsworth opens up about her humble beginnings as an actress to being named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2022. As she continues rehearsals for Measure For Measure, we hear her talk about her love for acting and the joy of returning to the theatre following her recent widely acclaimed performances in Romeo and Juliet and The House of Bernada Alba, both directed by Rebecca Frecknall. Indeed, we hear Isis speak affectionately about the directors she's gotten to work with and she highlights her admiration for Emily Burns for taking a bold approach to Measure For Measure, stripping parts of the text back whilst remaining faithful to the story. It's an endearing conversation throughout and it seems Isis is unlikely stop anytime soon as she continues to charm audiences and peers alike.Measure For Measure runs at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from 13 September - 25 October with tickets on sale now!Support the show

Episode 164 - ADHD Strategies for Missionaries and RMs with Kamden Hainsworth In this episode, I had an insightful conversation with Kamden Hainsworth, an ADHD coach and advocate. We discussed the unique challenges that missionaries and returned missionaries with ADHD can face, and Kamden shared valuable strategies and insights to help support them. Kamden shared her own experiences serving a mission in Minnesota and the struggles she faced due to her underdeveloped prefrontal cortex, which can lead to issues with attention, focus, organization, and emotional regulation. She emphasized the importance of understanding ADHD as a neurodevelopmental condition, not a deficit, and the need for flexibility and self-compassion when managing the demands of missionary work. Kamden provided practical tips for missionaries with ADHD, such as building in buffer time, prioritizing personal strengths, and learning to manage rejection sensitivity. She also encouraged listeners to view ADHD as a gift, with unique abilities and potential. Overall, this episode offers a compassionate and empowering perspective on navigating the mission experience with ADHD. As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends. We live in a world that is fast paced and has rules as to how things should operate and what is and isn't acceptable. If you are neurotypical you can easily fit into this world, but if you are neurodivergent, fitting in can be difficult. The same holds true for inside the Church. We have certain ways of operating and how we like to do things. Those who are neurodivergent can find this difficult and can often be labeled as being less faithful. Coach Kamden Hainsworth is on the podcast today talking about what it's like to be neurodivergent by having ADHD in the world and in the Church and how those who are neurodivergent or those who work with them can learn to support them so that they excel in the Church. Kamden has a great grasp of this subject and does a phenomenal job explaining what it's like to have ADHD in the Church and how to excel despite it by learning to build the correct structures into one's life. If you or someone you know struggles with ADHD and would like help with Kamden, please reach out to her. She will be able to help you excel in ways you never thought possible. Enjoy this episode. Unlocking the Power of ADHD Coaching: From Procrastination to Productivity Kamden worked as an educator in a variety of capacities for over ten years. She has always felt the most fulfilled helping others realize their true potential. Years after her daughter was diagnosed, Kamden received her own ADHD diagnosis at 36 years old and quickly began advocating and researching to learn how to build her new amazing life as an ADHDer. Kamden developed TheADHDirectory after feeling the overwhelm of accessing ADHD information on the internet. This service is a one time 1:1 consultation service to help ADHDers (adults and minors) connect with personal and tailored resources including coaches, podcasts, books, and subscriptions that will help direct them to their ADHD home. Main Points from the Show: This podcast episode explored various aspects of ADHD, including the lack of accommodations for students with ADHD, differences in diagnosis between childhood and adulthood, and how women may not get diagnosed or get misdiagnosed due to certain gender roles. The discussion also touched on the overlap between ADHD and anxiety or depression, and how ADHD coaching can help individuals get to the root of the problem and create systems that work for them. The episode also covered how to work with procrastination and ADHD, and how partners can support those with ADHD by being vulnerable, accepting the diagnosis, and asking for consent when offering help. Ultimately, ADHD is not a deficit of attention but a self-regulation disorder that affects emotions, time, impulsivity, and communication. As a Salon Owner, it can be so easy to get sucked into what I call “shiny object syndrome”, especially when you first open your business…press pause on that team retreat for now! You're ready to hit the ground running, and do all the things you have always wanted to when stuck behind the chair working for someone else. You feel like a kid in a candy store, right?!! The infamous Woodstock Music Festival of 1969 changed the music scene and had a significant cultural impact that shocked the system of the day. However, lurking behind the scenes an ancient evil starts to reveal its hand. Creatures of the night start to invade the summer of love causing a clash of ideals with three days of peace, music and blood. We sit down with creator of Woodstake, Shawn Hainsworth, to discuss the first issue of the seven part horror comic series published by SHP Comics. We cover the concept of the book, the new innovations of indie comic creative teams navigating today's scene, and different approaches of writing a story.
This episode is for everyone who is struggling to love themselves, or has been on that journey as we are joined by the new Queen of Scots, Isis Hainsworth. You may have recently seen Isis in the Netflix movie, ‘Metal Lords', which is brought to us by the creators of ‘Games of Thrones', no less! If you haven't seen it yet, think of it as School of Rock meets teen drama. Isis plays the cello-playing teen, Emily, who, whilst struggling with her mental health and feeling like the school outsider, befriends two other high schoolers (Jaeden Martell and Adrian Greensmith) who invite her to join their heavy metal band, in order to win the school Battle of the Bands competition. You will love it! Isis is the definition of booked and busy at the moment, as she will soon be seen in the BBC and Netflix thriller-horror, drama series ‘Red Rose' which takes inspiration from movies like ‘Get Out' and ‘Scream.' Prepare to hide behind your sofa! And later this year she will also star alongside Billie Piper, Andrew Scott and Bella Ramsey in the Lena Dunham directed, medieval coming-of-age comedy, ‘Catherine Called Birdy.' We love an historical foray on Reign so I can't WAIT to see this! Today we get to know Isis as she takes us back to the very beginning, and talks to us about the journey she took to the big screen, from growing up in Scotland where she had dreams of becoming a dancer, to treading the boards on the West End. Isis also opens up about dealing with dyslexia, and using it as her superpower after feeling ‘othered' at school, and shares some amazing advice about processing and dealing with mental health issues, which I think you will love! I love what Isis has to say about becoming your own ally, and I hope it will inspire you to be your own best friend too. I also hope you keep on listening and finding the power to Reign in your own lives. If you love this episode, please get in touch (follow me across social media @joshsmithhosts), I love hearing from you. Love, Josh xxx

Of all of the Jack the Ripper suspects, Montague Druitt is the most maligned in modern times, my guests argue, despite the fact that many of his contemporaries believed him to be the murderer of the Canonical Five before drowning himself in the Thames. Jonathan Hainsworth and Christine Ward-Agius are the authors of "The Escape of Jack the Ripper: The Full Truth About the Cover-up and His Flight from Justice", and they make their case, on this week's episode of Most Notorious, that Montague Druitt was indeed Jack the Ripper.
