Shimrit Nativ joins us for this episode, who works as a mentor, transformation and success coach as well as a mindset expert, helping hundreds of driven and creative individuals across the globe to create and sustain a consistent baseline of confidence, success and fulfilment. She is an accredited and certified ICF professional coach, Proctor-Gallagher consultant, an executive contributor on Brainz magazine and also a successful entrepreneur. In this podcast episode we delve into several areas of Shimrit's life and she tells us it feels like she's lived at least 3 lifetimes already at the age of 44 due to the many 'pivots' in her life! All complimentary and instrumental for her to master her own path and forge a way towards success, building a six-figure business as well as experiencing careers as a musician, coach, teacher, mentor, manager, leader and mother. She quotes Earl Nightingale's definition of success as a ‘progressive realisation of a worthy ideal'. The worthy ideal being what we desire, and the knowledge that we are worthy of becoming the fullest version of ourselves and living that desire in the physical form.Shimrit believes intuition allows us to connect to spirit and our own soul to receive guidance from God, the universe, spirit or whichever term we use to help us discern the right path. She shares that you have to practice fine tuning the ability to sense and translate frequencies, just as we do with our five other senses. Shimrit points out ‘truth is truth' - it doesn't matter the source. We will find it with those who resonate with us the most. We are now in a time of celebrating people's uniqueness and their own special way of delivering the truth – whether it's scientifically, spiritually, mathematically, religiously, quantum-based or both.A truly fascinating and inspiring conversation that will leave you wanting to find out more!If you would like to connect with Shimrit, she recommends going through her free 90-minute RISE seminar which you can access via this link: https://workshop.shimritnativ.com/rise-360-life-upgrade.For the full blog, you can access it at thecreativeyou.co.uk/podcast.
We are joined by the gorgeous Hannah Fay Sharples, a signed singer-songwriter, who incorporates her channelled vocalisations within her healing sessions, which include hypnotherapy, NLP coaching, shadow alchemy, trauma spotting through source tapping and vocal coaching. Hannah has had releases on UK, Spanish and Ukrainian record labels and many of her lyrics are inspired by her healing work. We talk about when Hannah first began to tread the healing path and how she ended up manifesting an NLP course in Paris (all expenses paid) then went onto train in hypnotherapy, trauma spotting and shadow alchemy. She shares her insights on how to explore our shadow selves to see what is at play, for example, child, victim, saboteur and prostitute archetypes can be identified. And we learn how the different shadow archetypes can be linked to a fight, flight, freeze response. So, for example, if we are stuck in freeze, this tends to manifest as a saboteur archetype.Hannah describes trauma spotting and the use of eye accessing cues for tapping into the limbic system and into the body. Our trauma is stored in the body, and using these techniques we can identify triggers and the age of origin. This allows someone to release trauma somatically.Hannah loves how, in her work with shadow alchemy, you can use the four fear archetypes to identify trauma and then counteract these using the power archetypes of sovereign, warrior, magician and lover. A truly fascinating approach to healing work! She often combines her skills with her voice when she feels guided to do so, to bring the highest healing possible for her clients. If you would like to connect with Hannah, you can go to her website: www.hypnotherapymagicwithhannah.co.uk, where you can sign up to receive a free 13-minute-long relaxation. Hannah is offering our listeners a free trauma spotting session – just quote Whispers of the Soul when you book! To view the full blog please go to thecreativeyou.co.uk/podcast/voicebewithyou
Holly Hollins, who is a Master Energy Healer, Intuitive Transformation Channel and Manifestation Coach and the creator of the Higher Frequency Rewire Method, joins us for this episode. She shares her incredible transformational journey that started when she realised she had lost her own sense of self and was overwhelmed with anxiety and negative thoughts, which she later discovered was due to a condition called Pure O OCD.After experiencing a reiki healing session, she was absolutely fascinated how it totally changed how she felt and started her own training in many modalities, but the one that really helped her the most, was Theta Healing. She explains that her frequency was getting higher and higher as she continued on her healing journey, changing her personal circumstances and relationships completely. Doing the Theta healing work really began to shift all of the fear out of her. She was working more and more with energy and fully placed her trust into the healing process to bring herself back in alignment.Holly explains that Theta healing can feel quite mind-blowing, it's like otherworldly and difficult to put into words but it's a blend of science, logic and spirituality. Theta healing can put a stop to long standing patterns and really get to the root cause. It's a form of energy healing, similar to hypnotism, that puts the client into a theta brainwave state which allows the subconscious mind to be spoken to, where you can explore your belief systems. With Theta healing you get to explore your core beliefs, history level beliefs, soul level beliefs and genetic level beliefs. There are 4 levels with the belief system. Why do they work? Well, when you are so anchored into your new conscious belief, that you have something bigger than you that is supporting you. Something that allows you to flow towards the resources you need, then you can make that biggest contribution on Earth. If you would like to connect with Holly, visit her Linktree - www.linktr.ee/higherfrequencyhealingcoach. We're joined by Hannah Charman, who is a natural menopause specialist for menopause after cancer and more. As a consultant medical herbalist and hypnotherapist, Hannah helps women to navigate the menopause without HRT with herbal remedies for the menopause. She shares her wealth of experience and knowledge with us and offers a different perspective on how we can view the menopause, almost as a ritual which should recognise the challenge of it, and then the reward afterwards when you emerge wiser and stronger. Hannah points out that in the past we needed women elders in the tribe to look after children, to teach and to pass on natural wisdom. There should be more positive messages about menopause, so that we understand, it's a transition and one that might not be comfortable but that absolutely serves a purpose so that we feel empowered not fearful. We touch on the individual roles of our hormones which is absolutely fascinating and we discuss in more detail how she supports her clients with her work. She shares that she also works with many women who are going through the menopause early due to cancer treatments and how the herbal remedies offer a safe alternative to HRT.If you would like to connect with Hannah or take advantage of her free Menopause Toolkit, you can visit her website: https://physichealth.uk or find her on Instagram: @physichealthconsulting.You can follow us on Instagram: instagram.com/whispers_of_the_soul_podcast and/or Fb: facebook.com/whispersofthesoul.
Emma Sullivan from Empowered Holistics joins us to share her spiritual awakening experiences and her passion to help people take control of their own health and understanding how to take care of their own energy without relying on pharmaceuticals.Emma has a wealth of experience in various holistic modalities including Hypnotherapy, NLP Coaching, Timeline Therapy, Reiki and she's been reading Tarot for the last 20 years too. She talks about how brutal spiritual awakenings can be - they are not all rainbows and unicorns, but the uncomfortableness can lead to break throughs! Trust and surrender are key as we are letting go of things that no longer serve us, in order to make room for the new.We talk about the blurred lines between mental illnesses and spiritual awakenings; perhaps in some cases we may not be depressed or chemically imbalanced, but in fact our energy and frequency are changing. It is so important to have the right people around you at these moments of crisis, who may be able to point you in a direction of healing which traditionally may not have been available. As Emma points out, not everything is spiritual but also not everything is mental. Often if we can look inside, we have the power to heal ourselves or find the answers. You can find out more about Emma here: www.emma-sullivan.com, on Facebook as Empowered Holistics, or by attending one of her local workshops or her regular Circle, which she runs in her home county of Dorset. We are joined by the lovely Anne Huckerby, who shares her story of how she discovered holistic therapies and subsequently trained in them after going through two spinal operations which left her with chronic pain. Anne now trains others in many healing modalities as well as offering 1:1 sessions and more recently trained as a Qi Gong session leader.During our conversation we chat about how the Universe puts people in our path and Anne describes how divine timing led her to pursue training in the Five Awakenings which uses colour and vibrational energy to rapidly shift trauma. We also talk about how more and more people are coming forward to share their own experiences with Angels or rather Angelic energy, be it peace, grace or love. Anne tells us, it's not about being able to see Angels, rather the feeling of knowing that they are there. Anne shares a moment where she believes Angels intervened and prevented her from being involved in a car crash! She believes Angels are there constantly to help us in our everyday lives, and in particular we must talk to our Guardian Angels and ask them for proof that they are there as well as guidance. Asking for a specific sign can turn a non-believer into a believer!Lastly we touch on Qi Gong and how it's all about the flow of energy around the body and how Anne is bringing this into her community. You can find out more about Anne's training courses or healing treatments on LinkedIn or on Facebook at Freedom Therapies and Workshops. You can follow us on Instagram: instagram.com/whispers_of_the_soul_podcast or Fb: facebook.com/whispersofthesoul.
In this episode we chat to Tamsin Loxley, who co-runs a design consultancy in London and a land-based project called Trill on the Hill in Devon. She talks about Trill on the Hill being a rugged and natural landscape used for learning, sharing and connecting - running her family camps, where young and old get together for wild camping as well as a base for her all-natural skincare products. Tamsin shares the importance of stewarding a wild place, which is something human beings can be so good at – and have been in the past. Just sitting in nature reminds us that humanity is not, as we sometimes think, separate from Mother Earth but a part of it with an important role to play. if we have our own patch that we can make decisions on and impact its growth and preservation we can help to facilitate what is best for Nature. We talk about preserving land for the future as well as preserving its history. To find out more about the wonderful Trill on the Hill Family Camps, use Instagram @trillonthehill, or visit www.trillonthehill.co.uk. If you would like to view some of Tamsin's work inspired by the land at Trill, you can find her on Instagram: @tamsinloxley.
Our lovely guest Suzanne Suthers, a stylist and professional colour analyst joins us for this episode where we explore the role of style in how we dress and present ourselves to the world. Suzanne spent several years in fashion retail but realised that she wanted to help clients further, so she trained to be a stylist with a leading image consultancy. For the last 16 years, she has been enjoying helping clients to discover and fine tune their own style to enable them to look and feel fabulous and confident whilst remaining comfortable and authentic. She explains her passion is helping women over 50 who are facing changes in their bodies to look and feel good about themselves again. So we were super lucky to receive some expert advice on how to brighten up our wardrobes to lift our mood, become more visible and feel confident. We learn how we all have at least 30 colours that suit us best individually, our skin tone, eyes and even our hair. In our colour palettes, we can put together a capsule wardrobe and it even spreads to make up and glasses! Suzanne tells us at least 10 colours will give you the wow factor and these can really make you feel special. Suzanne loves watching her clients leave a session feeling more confident and with greater clothing options and knowledge on how to work with what suits you best for that extra sparkle. She shares such an interesting insight, that in near death experiences, people often see themselves as beings made of light – so she says we are definitely not here to dampen ourselves down with dull colours - but to shine! Suzanne loves to remind people that they can express their true selves whatever age they are. Her energy as a stylist is nurturing and comforting for clients who are having a bit of an identity crisis with regards to their image, so is able to work really well with clients that feel vulnerable about their bodies. And on that note - we talk about body shape and how we can learn to accept ourselves even in the face of our insecurities - which lets face it, we all have to differing degrees. And find out that Sibby has a heart-shaped face whilst Sally is oval. Well, there you go - we won't get into the pears and apples! If you would like some expert advice on how to express your authentic self through your image, you can connect with Suzanne at www.suzannesuthers.com, or find her on Instagram: @suzannesuthersstyling or on LinkedIn. We chat with the wonderful Jackie Frith, who is passionate about guiding women through the fundamentals of manifesting. With straightforward, step by step strategies, Jackie empowers people to move from feeling lost at the beginning of their manifesting journey to becoming super confident and clear about their direction. Jackie shares with us during this episode, how she first had a taste of a spiritual awakening back in 2004, following a car accident where despite writing the car off, Jackie was left completely unharmed. This was the start of her journey into the Law of Attraction, Angels and working with Spirit. From non-believer to teacher Jackie now uses her skills and experiences to help others with her soul-based work and believes what we think is what we bring into our lives. Jackie identifies the importance of focusing on how you want to feel and not the material things – it's about manifesting the life you want to lead, rather than the material elements. We discuss divine timing, and how things arrive when they are meant to. Jackie believes that one of her own life lessons is to learn patience and to let go of lack – because lack is a low vibration and prevents manifesting. She reminds us that we are always manifesting and that we will always experience challenges: it's how we deal with those challenges that matters. Sometimes there is a reason behind the challenge that we cannot see. Jackie speaks of the sub-conscious mind and how it is in charge 95% of the time. It's about working with the sub-conscious to change our limiting beliefs. Jackie reminds us that it can be challenging to change our thoughts, and it may not happen overnight. We are looking at changing long-term beliefs, which could be from childhood, or generational or even ancestral. She shares her views about Source energy and our higher self – that we are all God and co-creators of our lives, and God is within us. The more we connect to that part of us, the more chance we can heal. To find out more about Jackie, visit her website www.jackiefrith.com where you can join her new Divine Manifesters Circle and get hold of her free ‘8 Step Process for Manifesting'.
Erin Kirby joins us to talk about the whispers of her soul that took her from working as a paralegal to studying Reiki and other energy modalities to help herself and eventually others feel empowered and transmute energy to avoid burnout. Erin also shares a dramatic spiritual experience she had one evening on her way to a Reiki treatment. She noticed that, the streetlights began to turn off as she passed them, as did lights in the buildings and the Christmas lights! She later discovered it was she herself making that happen: the energy from her emotions was causing a ‘brown out' as she describes it, not quite a black out! She noticed other instances where crystals would spin when she got near to them and payment systems wouldn't work. Most of the time in the spiritual world, we put this phenomena down to spirits and don't appreciate our own energetic signature - especially when we are dealing with or carrying unprocessed powerful emotions.Erin also shares her favourite crystals to work with as an Empath and energy sensitive and how EFT changed her life for the better! To find out more and connect with Erin you can visit her LinkedIn profile. For more podcast info, updates and videos, you can follow us on Instagram: instagram.com/whispers_of_the_soul_podcast and/or Facebook: facebook.com/whispersofthesoul.

After doing some self-healing and awareness work, including meditation and mindfulness, she found herself being contacted by the Arcturians and was open to this communication. She has been channeling light language ever since for over 15 years now, including Andromedan, Arcturian, Lyran, Avian and Feline, Sirian and Pleiadian as well as languages of ancient civilisations such as Lemuria and Atlantis. Riya shares with us more about the galactics who are acting as guides – they don't come uninvited, and they don't intervene with free will. She says we must open our minds to this vast Universe – there is so much more to be discovered. The galactics are helping us to find our way home as more of us are making connections with our past/parallel lives perhaps as galactics ourselves which is why some of us identify as Starseeds. We talk about this and so much more including energy work, frequencies, consciousness and sound with a live demonstration from Riya channeling several light languages for you to experience. To find out more about Riya you can visit her website: www.riyaloveguard.com or find her on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn amongst other platforms.

Do you think that in romantic relationships, love can get a bad rap sometimes? Even when the heartache or pain you're feeling isn't because you LOVED someone, but rather because of what else the experience brought up for you (i.e. past traumas, negative feelings or thoughts etc). And what about the different layers of love, and the way in which we love a partner can change with each relationship. Also, why do we break up even if we still love a partner – why is love not always enough? These are some of the questions we tackle in this episode of Whispers of the Soul :)We also talk about unconditional love, the role of the ego, fear versus love and how our choices and actions are usually rooted in one or the other and we offer a beautiful guided meditation to drop out of the busy mind and into the heart to help you live a heart-led life. After all, we are designed to love, it is a gift that can bond us as one and together we can create a better world. (We also drop in a few song references as you do!)We hope you enjoy! We chat to the fabulous Buckso Dhillon-Woolley, an international and motivational speaker, actor, host and author who mentors and coaches spiritual entrepreneurs.Buckso has had a variety of TV and film roles and is now expanding her creativity by diving deeply into her real passion as a speaker. From the stage, she shares her energy and wisdom, which she gained clarity on during an awakening she had in 2020. She talks to us candidly about her awakening process that brought about a cataclysmic change within her and as a result, she became the truest version of who she was meant to be on this earth. During her awakening she reveals to us that it was more about her ‘remembering' who she really is and exploring the connection we all have to source and the power of opening up and surrendering to higher wisdom. Her work now is all about enabling others to do the same and to realise the brilliance we each hold within - she often refers to this as our ‘inner diamond'. This all started from a realisation she had during the funeral service for her father. She explains that we have carbon in our bodies which, when we die, can be made into diamonds. But why, she asked herself at that point, do we have to die in order to shine? Why not shower other people with our brilliance now? Because after all, life can be short! And one day, inevitably, our physical bodies will die. So, her mission is simple. It is to reveal the diamond in you.You can find out more about Buckso on Instagram: @bucksodw or by visiting her website: www.bucksodw.com.

She talks about the sacred connection with the body, and the feminine essence within and that through deep womb connection and remembrance we can tap into our innate wisdom and creativity, allowing womb owners to empower themselves to embrace our roles of co-creation, feminine leadership and soul expression.Andrea is one of the few qualified practitioners in Holistic Pelvic Care™, an intra-vaginal treatment, which is based on the work of Tami Lynn Kent, author of the book Wild Feminine. We were lucky enough to experience this at the end of this episode as Andrea beautifully holds the space for us to journey into our own wombs, in a nurturing meditation which you can join in with as you listen. If you would like to work with Andrea or find out more about her amazing work with the womb-space, you can connect with her on Instagram: @root.medicine, or via her website: www.rootmedicine.co.uk. Andrea is also offering some ‘pay what you can' sessions, either online or at her clinic in Leicester – just sign up for her newsletter - ‘Womb Oracle', and you will get the chance to apply.
We are joined by Manya Welch - a MultiDimensional Soul Alchemist, Artist & Guide, empowering others to amplify their potential and step into soul sovereignty. We talk about the creative process and how we may experience some conditioning from our childhood and the essence of being human, which is creative, because of our ability to create our experience and our reality. So what might we need to consider in order to create our reality? Well, firstly we need to know what we want. If this is restricted through our personal limitations that we haven't yet addressed, then we are blocking access to our own creative genius. We will create from our conditioned beliefs instead. In addition to creating from conditioned beliefs we are also experiencing the matrix. Manya explains this is the energetic container that we are living within that has been formed by other energies where the intention has been to control, influence and manipulate.Manya explains that everything - both the seen and unseen - are woven together, hence the phrase multidimensional. We have the potential to use our creativity and imagination to allow the ‘flow' to come through from a divine source - the golden pillar of light or the golden thread as Manya refers to it. We can use this to create harmony. We also chat about 5D living and the New Earth and the role of the collective consciousness in order to bring this about. She shares some great tips and ideas based on her experiences to help you step into the role of a creator and align that with your intentions to ensure your energy field stays as clear as possible.Lastly we talk about the beautiful blueprint artwork that Manya does, that connects to the higher dimensional field and holds aspects of a persons' soul blueprint, the essence and energy of what the soul holds. It can provide an activation and awakening for that soul to reconnect to their divinity. Manya's art pieces also include light language and geometry, crystals and essential oils to create the individual bespoke piece. To find out more about the incredible work that Manya does you can visit her website here: www.manyawelch.com.

We are joined by the incredible Jamie Denyer, a Motivational Speaker who in some cases has not only changed the lives of the people in his audience but has saved their lives. Jamie is passionate about connecting with young people and teaching them resilience, promoting self-esteem and self-worth and revisiting the old and traditional values of society as an alternative solution to today's problems. Jamie explains that natural resilience in today's world has dropped but the negative influences of the world have increased, causing a massive imbalance. Everything that children and young people are facing at the moment is very challenging. Social media means that they are getting bullied not just at school or after school but potentially 24/7. We discuss how self-esteem is so low because children are comparing themselves to others: not just from their class or school but from across the globe. Jamie believes that people today are in constant competition with the rest of the world.Another challenge for young people is staying true to yourself. This is something that is now paying off for Jamie because when he was younger he was bullied for it, but now it sets him apart from the crowd in a good way. His advice is - don't try to conform or be something you're not. He also speaks of developing an internal moral compass. Jamie delivers this message in his talks: stressing that people need to do the inner work in order to find their inner strength, resilience and integrity and to not just follow along blindly because someone else has told them to or is doing it themselves.Jamie also talks about forgiveness. It takes a great deal of strength to forgive but he believes it's not just about not letting someone else off the hook but letting yourself off the hook - forgiving yourself too and not clinging on to old hurt for the rest of your life.We also talk about the importance of self investment and people's reluctance at times to do so. Are we more willing to spend money on ‘things' or maybe a few thousand on holidays or a car but not invest in ourselves? Jamie offers a great analogy about diamonds in amongst the debris - they are the seeds to your confidence, self-esteem and purpose and we need to realise how important it is to invest the time into finding them.To find out more about the incredible work that Jamie does - www.jamiedenyer.com or follow @griefpreacher on the socials.
Our special guest Kubi May, who is a White Witch and Celtic Healer, shares with us her vast knowledge and experiences of Celtic Folklore and Celtic Healing. She offers various workshops and courses in Glastonbury - where she now calls home. Did you know that there are over 400 Gods in the Celtic Folklore?!? The good news is, they are much more tangible with very human traits than some of the other Gods and Goddesses you may have heard of. She was always finding spirituality through nature - getting into the gritty roots of the earth and learning about its wisdom and has an interest in various sacred sites that connect to Celtic Folklore. Some of these sites include the Tor in Glastonbury, Gog & Magog, the two oldest Oak trees in Glastonbury that according to myth are connected to Avalon. Avebury is another interesting site and some pilgrimage sites like the Hill of Tara (in Ireland) where the old Gods of the Celtic Pantheon once reigned.Kubi shares her knowledge of the Druids who played an important role for the Celts, they were considered higher up in rank - Kings and Queens would go to them for advice - religious teachers and political influencers in the Celtic world. They would have been pushed back when the Romans came in. Kubi explains more about wand making, something else she offers as a workshop. The wands are made from apple trees and can be used for protection, or focused healing. In Celtic tradition the Druids would use an apple tree branch with bells on the end and shake it to connect and open up to the other realm.Right now, her latest interest and project has been about studying the Ogham - Celtic Tree Law. This originated as an alphabet that goes back to the age of the Druids - a secret language so that the romans couldn't interpret their messages to each other. Each letter or symbol represents a tree (there are 20 of them) and each tree offers a lesson. You can learn about this online with Kubi. To find out more about the incredible work that Kubi does you can visit her website here: www.kubimaycrafts.com.
We are joined by the UK's number 1 Past Life Regression Hypnotherapist Jane Osborne who shares with us some extraordinary stories from her work with others and how she first became aware of lives beyond the one we're living now.Following a freak accident that saw Jane plummet towards the ground falling 1000 feet, she was changed forever in her view and outlook on life and she started to ask the BIG questions - why are we here, what is our purpose, what is the meaning of life etc. During her recovery Jane studied past life regression after experiencing many dreams of herself in other lifetimes and of her guides showing her what her purpose is during this one.Jane explains that her work is about connecting with her clients subconscious where we hold our memories in pictures - it stores them as images. She tells us that source energy will use the vocabulary in your subconscious mind - your image-ation, to help you understand your past life experiences. Fears and phobias can arise as a consequence of a visual prompt you may come across in your life now - Jane gives some examples of this from working with her clients. She also explains that we hold memories in our bodies - they go into our cells and organs if we don't express and release our fears and emotions. They can literally seep into our organs and we absorb it. We can also hold memories genetically from our parents/grandparents etc that needs to be released too. So it's not just about the mind, it's about the body also.Jane once asked the question to her guides - ‘why am I releasing all this negative energy in people's bodies' (for example trauma, attachments etc). Her answer was ‘many of you are walking around like snails, you're here to experience these life challenges so you can ascend but you're holding onto the trauma like baggage on your back - it's a lesson not a life sentence.' So what happens before we come here to experience this lifetime? Jane uses the analogy of it being a bit like reading the back of a book. It will tell you what happens but it won't go into detail, it's all part of our soul contracts. If we somehow get derailed or can't get out of a negative pattern, Jane helps her clients to get back on track to the experiences the soul has signed up for.Another common challenge that Jane comes across in her work is that we can hold ourselves back because of gifts we had in previous lives. We can sabotage things - it's because you're remembering you lost your life because of your gift in a past-life. This can be healed during a past-life regression. What about lives on other planets and parallel lives? Jane has had some clients experience incarnations on other planets as well as having two lifetimes at once at she explains how the soul splits itself up depending on the lessons you're hear to learn. To find out more about the work that Jane Osborne does you can visit her YouTube channel.
What does it mean to come home to self and what role does the ego play in how we identify with who we are? Does the ego try to take over and in doing so can restrict you from exploring and connecting more with the deeper aspects of who you are and your connection to others and the world. Feeling whole and connected to yourself fully can feel challenging in our modern day world full of distractions, roles and responsibilities, so is it even possible? And if it is, what do you need to consider and be aware of?Sally talks about the challenging task of integrating your ego and soul to be your ‘whole' self. You can't be fully ‘home' if you are rejecting parts of what makes up your ‘home' or you essentially.Another block to coming home to self could be fear. Sibby talks about our constant chatter - our monkey mind and how it can prevent you from exploring and accepting yourself. Maybe you get caught up in the stories you tell yourself and this becomes your identity, so it begs the question - do we label ourselves and limit ourselves based on the stories we tell? So, what can you do to experience more connection, inner peace, understanding and radical acceptance? Here's a few suggestions: 1. Self-discovery work, helping you to work out - what is you and what is not, what resonates and what doesn't. Connecting in with your eternal part of who you are - your soul, divine essence or divine spark - to push past the ego's reduced definition of who you are. 2. Self-acceptance is a big part of coming home to self. Don't reject aspects of yourself, be prepared to look at everything with love and compassion, wholeness comes from first acknowledging then accepting all of you.3. Mindfulness and meditation help for you to step into the ‘being' state, sometimes you just need to let yourself just be.If this podcast episode has made you more curious about who you are and self-discovery work and you want to align with your soul to be a conscious creator, just click on this link - The Creative You to find out more about my work and offerings.Or you can join our Spiritual Development Group Evolving Souls on Facebook or become a member of the Ascension Academy and get a live zoom every week and access to meditations & activations to support your ascension process with like-minded souls.
Our special guest Annette Rodgers, a well known and respected Medium, joins us to share her experiences and views. Annette firmly believes that there is life after death, it's just not obvious to us here in our 3D physical lives. After tragically losing her daughter at the age of 16, Annette found herself living daily with her grief, sadness and despair. A few years had passed when a friend persuaded her to attend a Spiritualist Church. She was in awe of how the Mediums worked and connected with spirit and sat in development circles for 2 years until she finally got a message from her daughter Lauren. The message she got from the medium was so spot on, that she knew she was communicating with her. This was the evidence she'd been searching for and was very grateful to the medium who delivered that first message.Since then she has gone on to train many mediums and develop her own gifts and abilities and now focuses her sessions and talks about the importance of knowing and understanding consciousness. It's the idea that it doesn't die with our bodies, it lives on and is far more expansive than we can ever imagine. It can be quite overwhelming and confusing but in a nutshell, Annette explains that it's possible that our current incarnate consciousness is existing simultaneously with our other incarnate lives (past, present and future) as well as on other dimensional levels. So when Annette connects to people's loved ones, she experiences it as a connection to their consciousness. When they step forwards they are giving an image of who they were in that lifetime - otherwise you might be saying ‘oh your father is a lovely ball of energy!” Annette explains that she connects through her 3rd eye, so is working with the mental imagery of whoever has come through with a message. Annette believes that we become our true essence - our true light, when our physical body goes. When we connect to our loved ones in the spirit world, it's so important to work from the heart and work with the best intentions. At the end of the day - it's all about love!Annette shares a beautiful affirmation for us all - “I am the most amazing, beautiful, powerful human being with so much love and consciousness and understanding.”To find out more about Annette and to connect with her on Facebook you can go to her profile: Annette Rodgers or find out more about her group: Soul to Soul Facebook group.
We are joined by the inspirational Sally Race - a very dedicated Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist who is on a mission to support her clients to become their best self. In this episode Sally shares her own story about how she became interested in this topic and some AMAZING tips that you can start to implement today - to step into your best self! So, lets start at the beginning - Sally explains how the mind runs our body - our subconscious mind is like our supercomputer that stores everything - our beliefs, values, feelings and emotions. They all come from this part of our mind that sits in the background controlling everything. Most of our decisions come from our subconscious mind on autopilot. If some of these beliefs are not addressed or challenged and are not working to support us being our best selves, then we need to make some modifications! So what does being your best self look like? Sally explains that part of being your best self is about loving yourself. Loving your mind and body - treat yourself in the way you'd treat others. You need to feel like you deserve the best too. Sally shares a great tip - don't save your ‘best' for another day - treat everyday as your best day! Be kind and loving towards yourself at all times, the same way you would when you love another person. So how can you start to think differently and make the changes you want to make? Sally gives a great analogy when she explains that neural pathways are like pathways in a field - when you start to walk in a different direction you are creating a new (neural) path and start to flatten the grass in a new area. This might feel a bit more challenging to start with but if you do it for long enough the old ‘path' will grow over. Repetition gets picked up by our subconscious mind - our subconscious mind is preprogrammed for repetition - it's like it's saying ‘I will save you the energy of repeating that over and over and bank it so you can do it on autopilot. However, it's worth noting that the subconscious mind doesn't recognise if it's good or bad for us - we have to do that consciously for ourselves.Another fascinating fact that Sally shares, is that when we change thoughts in our mind - it actually changes the physical make up of your brain, so it's not just your thoughts that change, your brain actually changes physically! The power of our subconscious mind is incredible.Sally's top tip for being your best self is recognising the importance of self-belief and she shares her story where she made a personal break through and started to believe she could do what she wanted with her life.To find out more about the incredible work that Sally does - please visit: www.derbyshirehypnotherapy.co.uk or you can visit her and her team at Acorn Natural Health Centre in Heanor.
In this episode we talk about (and model) the benefits of laughing and why is it good for our health! Some interesting facts about the physiological effects of laughing include - helping your whole body to feel very relaxed to release any physical tension. Your muscles can stay relaxed for up to 45 minutes afterwards! What else? Well - it gives you a natural endorphin rush and releases dopamine - you feel like you're on a high…that really does sounds like laughter IS the best medicine. Also, when we laugh because we involve the whole body - our face, our brain, our lungs, our blood vessels, our cells, even our chakras - we instantly shift our energy and vibration higher. And lastly and perhaps less known - did you know you can burn calories laughing? If you laugh for 10/15 minutes a day you can burn approximately 40 calories by doing so - you can loose 3/4 pounds over a year! So - more laughter in your day, keeps the weight away…or something like that?!?We also talk about how you can bring more laughter into your life, like trying laughing yoga or watching a good comedy or comedian even, and Sally & Sibby share a few funny stories of their own! What's your favourite way of inviting laughter into your life? Please leave us a comment and share your stories with us. You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram.
Do you live your life with integrity or do you feel out of alignment - not doing what feels right for yourself or for others? In today's episode we are joined by Annette Birkmann - a People & Culture Advisor, Headhunter & Executive Coach and author of "The Journey to Me". Her next book is on the way and is all about integrity…our topic for this podcast episode!Annette decided to research what it means to live with integrity in order to bring it into her own life - why? Because she reveals in this podcast episode that she was ‘shit' at it herself! (Yes this made us laugh too!) This made her more curious…could this offer her the solutions she was looking for?So what is integrity, what are the benefits from having it and how can we achieve it? According to Annette and her research - integrity is the alignment of thoughts, words, actions and intention. The word integrity comes from the latin word meaning ‘whole'. When we try to separate ourselves from our behaviours or feelings, we are not being ‘whole'. We have to feel them fully, even the difficult ones. When we become whole, we don't need to rearrange our external circumstances to feel better. If you are experiencing an unwillingness to have challenging conversations, this could also be a sign of not stepping into your integrity - taking the necessary steps to become more comfortable with the uncomfortable is how you start.Annette shares the 4 steps you need to take to experience the power of integrity - 1) stop and pause, 2) go inward to feel the discomfort within, 3) turn around the negative thought and 4) choose the intention about how to respond - change it from what I need to what ‘we' need. Our freedom is relational so whatever you do has consequences for other people. Look to see what could happen to the people that are affected by your actions. That might mean then, that you reassess what you choose to do.To find out more about the incredible work that Annette does, you can find her at annettebirkmann.com.
Interested in learning more about what it means to be neurodivergent? Out guest speaker Katrina E. Lawrence joins us to explain more on this topic and shares her experiences and her own journey with a late diagnoses.Katrina believes that there may be lots of people that use masking as a self-preservation tool and this is one reason why they might not be diagnosed. For example there is a massive link still being explored between having a diagnoses and self-medicating (addiction to alcohol or drugs). Some of the conditions that fall under the umbrella of neurodivergent include - ADHD, Autism, Tourette Syndrome, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and much more. Neurodivergence is about having a cognitive functioning that's not considered ‘typical' and therefore you behave, think and learn differently to those who are neurotypical. Some of the signs include (but are not limited to) social communication difficulties (such as making eye contact), speech and language challenges, clumsiness, finding it hard to cope with crowds, bright lights, loud sudden noises, difficulty in keeping still and controlling or maintaining attention.Unfortunately, diagnostics have been based on archaic male-centric data because that was all that was collected. This is now changing as more people are recognising their own signs and symptoms. There is also the difficulty of getting support from your family and not being believed or validated. Especially if your family members can associate with your symptoms and have always believed them to be normal or managed with certain coping mechanisms. The good news is that now these coping mechanisms are officially being recognised as symptoms which is a breakthrough and there is now support out there to help you switch out damaging coping mechanisms with more positive ones.To find out more about the incredible work that Katrina does, you can find her on Instagram here: Katastrophica or on TikTok. We are joined by the fabulous Natalia Komas - a spiritual business mentor and soul channel who has always been passionate about supporting others to step into their soul mission and believes everyone has a soul mission. Natalia explains that some of us have more than one and some of us have a double mission - a personal and collective mission (as Rebecca Campbell describes). Natalia points out that sometimes our conditioning around business and making money can affect us from connecting to our soul mission and the steps necessary to take that leap of faith. In addition, the practicalities between knowing what it is and actually doing something about it can also be challenging. If you want to discover more about your soul mission, here are three important questions to ask. 1) who am I, 2) what do I believe in and 3) how can I be fully self-expressed - in order to connect to the divine. You feel this when you are able to fully stand in your power. So how do you manifest your soul mission and what do you need to be mindful of? Well, as obvious as it sounds - you have to take the action. If you don't do the action part you get stuck in the overthinking or overwhelm or in the hiding. The divine feminine requires you to create the space to receive and surrender. You need both. You need the creative energy - water (feminine) and fire (masculine) - which are the energies of transformation. You can get a free energetic planner that's available on Natalia's website with a diagnostic tool where you can figure out how much feminine/masculine energy you have at the moment. This can fluctuate a bit like the seasons, so this is a helpful tool to use.To find out more about the incredible work that Natalia does - please visit: www.nataliakomis.com.
With the right environment and right experiences and relationships, WE can make an enormous difference. In this podcast episode we are joined by Jo Stockdale from Well Within Reach who supports the competence and wellbeing of children, young people and the adults they become.Jo encourages everyone to know that wherever we are starting from, there are always things we can do to improve the relationships with ourselves and our children. We live at such a rapid pace of life these days, that we have lost the ability to tune in to ourselves and others and have forgotten the art of being unique human beings. We are becoming more like machines, juggling too many tasks that neurobiologically we are not designed for.So what are we designed for? Well, we have very powerful things going on in our nervous systems, in our gut and our heart - but in general we try to make sense of the world and make decisions with our brains (only) - it's just one part of it! Our brain-body intelligence is born within - tuning into ourselves to be more aware of ourselves and others is an innate ability that we are not always using. It's also useful to note that we are sharing the space with another person we need to recognise there's a great deal of interaction happening (unspoken). Plenty of science supports this with our brain and our heart having a powerful electromagnetic field & research has shown that human hearts pattern on each other. Our energy field around us is constantly mediating. So what happens with the flight, fright, freeze response - what is going on with our brains? Jo explains that the amygdala gets activated - it doesn't think, it's all about survival - it overrides the thinking part of the brain. As a result the brain-body bio-chemistry produces adrenaline and cortisol stress hormones activating the sympathetic nervous system.Being present helps to flush those hormones out of the body and activate serotonin - a stabalising hormone - so taking deep breaths is one way that can help to sort out brain chemistry and the nervous system. To find out more about the incredible work that Jo does - please visit: www.wellwithinreach.co.uk.
Do you take on other peoples emotions and internalise them? Do you feel like you have a heightened awareness to what is going on - with other people and places. Within the subtleties of ‘what is not being said' but felt?If you are empathic, it's really easy to over-give and try to fix things for other people because you are so good at putting yourself in other people's shoes - hence the empathy! So, the danger is forgetting your own needs and potentially your own values in favour of the other person's.In this episode we discuss what can you do differently so you don't take it on (energetically speaking). We cover the topic of how can you feel protected - as long as you don't do it from a place of fear. Sally gives some great advice on how to change your thinking on this. It might be that your coping mechanism in the past has been to shrink or become invisible or hide. However, the work is in learning how to stay within your own energy field and hold it (stand your ground). When you change how you deal with things from the inside, it changes your relationships and experiences on the outside!Sally specialises in working with Empaths - you can find out more about her Energy Healing Therapy or you might want to join a group to help you heal, release and generally feel stronger going forwards.
Ah the beauty of life lessons - life gives us the experience and we don't learn the lesson until AFTERWARDS. Hence that beautiful phrase - ‘in hindsight' or ‘on reflection…' In this podcast episode, Sally & Sibby discuss their own experiences of life and soul lessons and they ask - how do we learn our lessons? Is it about changing our perspective? Do certain lessons revisit you? Lesson 1 - Are you trying to give from an empty well? Sometimes it's just about doing little things for yourself - giving a little self-love!Lesson 2 - Understanding that you can control how you feel and what you think! Sound unrealistic? Sibby shares her experience that brought her to the realisation that you have the ability to choose another thought. You have the power not to feel shit!Lesson 3 - Be mindful of the gap - there's a pause between having a reaction and giving a response. Sally and Sibby go slightly off topic here whilst discussing this lesson with references to the onionverse (oh boy) train stations and the word moist! Bear with us…it should give you a laugh though!Lesson 4 - We are so vast, expansive, majestic beings - full of shadows and light. Sally discusses how you can use creative expression to get in touch with these areas of yourself to learn life lessons in a safe space.Lesson 5 - You can choose how you create your life - things happen through you and for you (even though sometimes it feels like things happen to you in a negative way). You have power in how your life is created.Lesson 6 - You can't control what other people think of you. It's none of your business what they think of you. It can help you sidestep judgements from others. Lesson 7 - There is no rule book for life. You live your life how you want to live your life, trust your inner self and creative magic and where it wants to take you. Don't try and abide by other people's rules. If you know your heart and you know what's right - that's your rule book. Soul enquiry - look at what might be influencing you or what rules you may have adopted from others and if it's not serving then chuck it out!If you're on a spiritual quest to discover more about yourself and the world around you, then our spiritual development group the Ascension Academy might be just what you need! An inclusive soul-led resource with other spiritually curious beings, that supports you in your awakening and expansion of consciousness with a new topic each week to delve into!

Welcome to our 13th episode with the fabulous Suzanne Gamache who shares about her relationship with nature and the development of her own intuition. Suzanne has always been drawn to the outdoors and started using her intuitive abilities to connect with nature and open herself up to receive. She realised that everything that we need, Mother Earth provides for us - a powerful revelation! To receive and connect in this uniquely deep way, Suzanne talks about grounding - all of our bodies - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We also discuss what elements do you feel most connected to? Are you drawn to the seaside or woodland for example? So how can we use nature to tap into our own intuition? Suzanne gives us some really beautiful examples of how to do just that. She points out there are many different ways. Sometimes the expectation is to ‘see' or ‘visualise' like a clairvoyant gift, however it can be received through the body, emotions or feeling energy or just a sense of knowing. Try to move into a sense of wonderment and curiosity with it and see what unfolds. Suzanne's view is that our souls are wanting us to step into a bigger space than we are already in. It can feel difficult and challenging to do this and might cause ‘waves' amongst the people around you. She talks about asking your intuition to just show you the next step so you don't feel too overwhelmed.Suzanne shares her experiences of living more intuitively and the gifts it brings, allowing her to feel more nourished, connected and supported in her life than she ever has before. We also talk about trust and how important it is to trust yourself as you develop your intuition. If you would like to work with Suzanne there are many ways. One is the B Experience - a 3 month program that supports you as a business owner to create structures in your business but from an intuitive and energetic place. The summer season will start in June if you're interested in signing up.Suzanne also offers holistic healing, akashic record readings and holistic therapy - you can find out more by visiting: suzannegamachehealing.as.me.Or alternatively, you can visit her website: suzannegamache.com.

Sally and Sibby discuss their own experiences of relationships and the challenges they have faced - the good, the bad and the ugly! A really open and honest conversation about the different shades of love and how our relationships change and grow.We also ask the question - do we experience healthier relationships once we have worked on the most important relationship - the one with ourselves? I think the phrase self-love is mentioned which of course it not for everybody! But bear with us!Sally and Sibby also open up about their experiences of being an Empath. Some of the commonalities seemed to be around setting healthy boundaries and over-giving or investing in someone. Also feeling overwhelmed with a sense of responsibility - trying to help by fixing other people's problems and getting caught up in how they feel. This is why getting to know yourself is important - the most powerful work you can do is discover what it means to be you!Ok so that's some of the quirks - what about the perks? We talk about how important it is to be completely yourself with someone. It's so freeing! How healthy relationships don't make you feel restricted - they encourage you and see the positives. They don't judge you when you make mistakes. What about synchronistic meetings with others? When you seem to meet the right people at the right time. Sibby talks about a personal experience she's had with this…And lastly - do you have a soul tribe? Are you connecting with more like-minded people? We agree that finding your soul tribe is like finding a sense of community and it's so important. Find out more about Sally's Spiritual Development Group - Evolving Souls - a meeting of like-minded souls that meet once a week to discuss an interesting and engaging topic to learn, grow and evolve!
We are incredibly lucky to have the fabulous Prue Nichols join us for this fandazzle of an episode! Prue shares her insights on all things astrology - we all think that we have that covered knowing our star signs right? Wrong! Did you know that there are 3 really big influences in our birth charts - your sun sign (star sign), moon sign and rising sign? Knowing your sun/star sign is only a small slice of your natal chart, there's so much more to it! We chat about these 3 big influences and also discover from Prue that Sibby and I are both cardinal signs (ideas people - visionaries) - well that's always nice to know!We also find out that our communication style is all about Mercury - where is Mercury in your chart Forget men are from mars and women are from venus - find out where your mercury is in your birth chart! Then things become a lot clear in all matters of communication. So what is our moon sign? Prue explains the moon is how we nurture ourselves and mother ourselves - if we're not feeding our moon we can't be the best version of our sun sign. Prue also talks about milestones we experience in life, for example the saturn return happens every 29/30 years - it happens when it has travelled the whole way around your chart and comes back to where it was when you were born - it's like an initiation into adulthood, we start to think about what we want to do. What about the collective experiences we have? We learn that the conjunction between Saturn (helps us to claim our authority and sense of sovereignty) and Pluto - known as Hades (the god of the underworld) happened in January 2020 and we all know what happened then, a global event! So what's in store for 2023? Well, Pluto is moving into the sign of Aquarius - the exposure is being ramped up. As we move into Aquarius - it also starts the process of how do we build the new, how do we create our future going forwards? Prue chats about her thoughts on that and reassures us that we must focus on holding our own light - and what we can do and bring during this transition. We are all really important and equally important during this phase.Prue offers a 3 week course to look at your sun, moon and rising sign - a small group on a Wednesday evening over 3 weeks. To find out more visit THE BIG THREE.To find out more about Prue, you can visit her website: pruenichols.com. You can sign up to her moon tribe on the website link above.
Does legacy need to be a BIG thing - is it about trying to achieve your dreams? In its basic meaning - a legacy is a gift of money or other personal property that's granted by the terms of a will - does this feel too restrictive as a description? Is legacy also about the ripple effect? Certain traits or characteristics of passed over loved ones that lives on in you - it might be something small or tiny but could be ever lasting.Rosa Parks - her action that day on the bus, still lives on now, it's become her legacy. She didn't plan anything but she's remembered because of her choice that she made that day.Do generations leave behind a legacy? Does that mean there can be a collective and an individual legacy or are they one of the same?As a parent do you think about legacy in terms of what you're teaching your children - the examples that you are setting? Sibby chats about a quiz she's done - a character strengths survey - these are the sort of strengths people remember you for and they become a part of your legacy. Here's the link to find out more: www.viacharacter.org. Honing in on your talent and what you're naturally good at, can be a part of your legacy.Generational influences - DNA - in a tiny drop we can store up to 700 terabytes of data/information/knowledge. The earth and people are record keepers - it's still present even if we can't access it or we're not aware of it. The legacy of human kind is already within us all.You are creating your legacy now! Sometimes it's simply about being you and others recognising that.
We are joined by Ben Stopford who explains the importance of building a connection with your garden, for example growing food in your garden, creating a space to sit in peace and connect to nature. Ben talks about how the average person on earth is not flourishing. One of his approaches to help is to become more actively engaged in bioregionalism - reducing your focus down to a geographical region called a bioregion. The idea is you become familiar with what is around you within a 10 mile radius, to help break down the feeling of ‘overwhelm' or ‘where can I start' when it comes to ecological matters. We talk about how we can re-educate ourselves by asking the basic questions such as what is nature, what does it mean to be in the world, what is the self in relation to the world - exploring the ecological Self. Ben talks about how environmentalism can sometimes be viewed at sacrifice - in the quest to become more ecological. However he gives some examples of it actually being the opposite and how it can create a deeper richer connection. We ask the question are we ascending (shifting our consciousness) and does this mean that as a collective we may start to start to move away from commercialism and consumerism?Ben discusses the work of Ecophilosopher Joanna Macy PhD. She talks about 3 stories that we connect to - the ‘business as usual' narrative being the first. Ben also mentions her work on what she refers to as ‘active hope' - and how the masses may feel hopeless over our planet crisis, but by narrowing down the things you can participate in and actually taking action - you can turn this into feeling more empowered. To find out more about her work, go to: www.activehope.infoYou can join Ben on his online platform - all about the ecological Self. Helping you to lean into your bio-region, explore it more fully, explore your connection to the area and your own connection to it. Developing and expanding your sense of self - where do I begin and end? What do you value? You can find out more about Ben by visiting his website: www.consciousroots.co.uk
In this episode we are joined by the incredible Liz Underwood who has featured in many magazines and exhibitions across the country, spreading the word about Somatics! Liz explains Somatics is a movement method - the creator is Thomas Hanna, he was a philosopher and really interested in people being free - having the choice to help themselves out of pain and move with freedom. Liz talks about Somatics being a neuromuscular movement practice and how over time we can habituate muscular tension, the sub-cortex of the brain holds onto the muscle tension, therefore it is banked and can be doing it without your conscious knowledge i.e. while you sleep, in your posture, how you walk etc. Sibby has a few ‘aha' moments during this section. We also chat about the importance of re-educating ourselves, our brain-body connection to create a new possibility, a new neural pathway for pain free movement. Our nervous system responds to stress in certain ways and patterns - Liz talks about the 3 main reflex patterns that we might have or experience.I share my own experiences of working with Liz after discovering I have one hip higher than the other and I have several of the reflex patterns. If you have the same problem or any pain or tension within your body, then this podcast really is an eye-opener! At the end of our episode, Liz tells her story about how she got into somatics after spending some time beforehand as a yoga teacher. Her website is intelligent-movement.co.uk.
Do you make New Year's Resolutions? In this episode we talk about alternatives you can do, for example working through intention so it's heart and soul led and becoming more grateful and mindful about what went right the year before. We also touch on starting diets and if January is really the best time to start one or are we succumbing to pressures around weight and body shape, meaning the goal is coming from and external place as opposed to an internal one? Would it be more helpful to think about new beginnings at the start of each day instead? This practice could help you to be more present and able to ‘start over' should you feel the day before wasn't a good one!Could you think about a word as a theme for the New Year? Could this be more helpful instead of specific goals that come from the feeling of what you ‘should' do? We discuss 2023 as being the Year of the Brave and Sibby shares her poem.We also discuss - when it comes to creating new experiences or projects or goals - do we find ourselves spending our energies on fighting old ones? Therefore leaving us too tired to start anything new.Are we missing the real magic that is revealed to us through the cyclic energies and spirals? Is anything completely new or just cyclic? Our bodies regenerate, our skin and organs, our monthly cycles, the moon's cycles, the seasons, the summer and winter solstice…the universe undergoes endless cycles of expansion and cooling. The spiral - the eternal sign of the creative and organising principle. The higher intelligence at play through these spiral/cyclic energies. Do these energies exist within and around us? Would it be better to tap into this?
In this episode we are bridging the gap between the transpersonal and personal.1. What does is mean to be transpersonal and how can you achieve this in your day to day life.2. How can we explore our relationship with ‘other' and show up more courageously with compassion and the intention to connect.3. We talk about the practice of holding space for yourself and others to explore your own feelings in a safe and held way.4. We share some of our experiences of the dark night of the soul and how we all go through our own personal journey of crisis.5. What mask do you wear in society? Are we wearing masks that makes us burn out? Do you feel you have to say you're fine or always have a smile on your face?6. Goblin mode was the collectively chosen word for 2022 - it beat metaverse!7. How much time do you spend within your inner landscape or is your focus all on the outer influences?8. Working with Archetypal energies - resource mentioned during this episode: Mark Wentworth: https://www.colourforlife.com/Mary-Rita completed her masters through Organic Inquiry: http://www.storiesaremedicine.com/what-is-organic-inquiry.htmlThe poem mentioned was "No Man is an Island" - Jon Donne. https://web.cs.dal.ca/~johnston/poetry/island.htmlInformation about the masters course Mary-Rita studied: Transpersonal Psychology: https://www.aleftrust.org/
Have you ever thought about the energy behind the words you think, say and converse in? Are words powerful or is it how we use them that makes them powerful? As we create stories to help us learn, grow and evolve using these words, is the responsibility on us (the creator) to represent them more carefully, mindfully and with awareness? We delve into many apsects of this fascinating topic, including:1. How do we use words to make more meaning in our lives and connect more purposefully?2. Does the role of intention and awareness play a role when it comes to the energy behind our words? Can this help us stop ‘throw away comments' that can be more harmful than we realise.3. Can we become more aware of our own judgements and criticism when it comes to certain words like journey or authenticity?4. Can we connect to a higher intelligence - a place of knowing - and use this connection to become more clear when communicating with others (and ourselves).5. Can the energy of words really impact us physiologically as well as mentally - do words carry and create unique vibrations that can either heal or hurt us?Join Sally and Sally and the wonderful Tim Elliott - our guest speaker this week, to discuss all of this and more! To find out more about Tim and what he is up to with various projects-this is the link: https://linktr.ee/timelliottuk.
