Sometimes it can feel like everything is out of our control - that things happen to us rather than for us or with us. But what if instead of fearing change, we could know that we were ready for it, and that we could harness it deliberately to steer us toward the life we want? This is exactly what this chat between Osher and Andrea Clarke will help you do. Andrea is a work futurist, speaker and author of two books: 'Futurefit: how to stay relevant and competitive in the future of work', and her latest 'Adapt: mastering change in four steps' Here, through practical tips and tools and in the example of her own remarkable career, Andrea show us how to look for signals that change is coming (or needs to come), how we can have agency no matter what life throws at us and the possibilities being adaptable opens for us. Join host Victoria Carthew as she chats with Andrea Clarke about her brand-new book "Adapt", which was QBD's Non-Fiction Book of the Month in March 2025.After the global pause in 2020, we returned to a world that feels faster, looser, and less structured – our professional boundaries have been erased, social and cultural norms are shifting rapidly, and at the same time, we're facing profound developments in artificial intelligence. We're facing more change more often, and we're applying a mindset that is simply outdated and no longer fit-for-purpose.In Adapt, work futurist and award-winning author Andrea Clarke offers a fresh perspective. Rather than retreat from change or resist it, Clarke argues that we must engage with it continuously – learning not just how change unfolds, but how we can shape it. With four simple yet powerful principles, she shows how to move from merely reacting to change to anticipating and influencing the future. This book reframes change as a powerful playbook for growth, opportunity, and lasting transformation.Purchase your copy of “Adapt” at your local QBD Books store or online today: https://www.qbd.com.au/product/9781761632433/Follow along with QBD Books here: QBD Books on Facebook: www.facebook.com/qbdbooksQBD Books on Instagram: www.instagram.com/qbdbooksQBD Books on TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@qbdbooksaustralia

Elizabeth I's relationship with Mary, Queen of Scots is perhaps the most pivotal of her entire life, and yet they never met. In this second episode in our series, Joint Chief Curator Tracy Borman is joined by Dr Andrea Clarke, to discuss how as confidantes and rival queens, Elizabeth and Mary's relationship would shape the image that Elizabeth would adopt for herself, that of Gloriana. Read about Elizabeth's brush with death at Hampton Court, the crisis that magnified the succession question. This is the second Episode in our Elizabeth series where we explore the women who shaped a queen.

We are joined by the fabulous Andrea Clarke, an intuitive healer, who weaves together holistic pelvic care, feminine embodiment, womb awakening and energy medicine. She talks about the sacred connection with the body, and the feminine essence within and that through deep womb connection and remembrance we can tap into our innate wisdom and creativity, allowing womb owners to empower themselves to embrace our roles of co-creation, feminine leadership and soul expression.Andrea is one of the few qualified practitioners in Holistic Pelvic Care™, an intra-vaginal treatment, which is based on the work of Tami Lynn Kent, author of the book Wild Feminine. She explains that there is great power in having a two-way conversation with the womb and other body parts, and asking: ‘What are you holding?' and ‘What do you need?' We were lucky enough to experience this at the end of this episode as Andrea beautifully holds the space for us to journey into our own wombs, in a nurturing meditation which you can join in with as you listen. If you would like to work with Andrea or find out more about her amazing work with the womb-space, you can connect with her on Instagram: @root.medicine, or via her website: www.rootmedicine.co.uk. Andrea is also offering some ‘pay what you can' sessions, either online or at her clinic in Leicester – just sign up for her newsletter - ‘Womb Oracle', and you will get the chance to apply.
Andrea was joined on Lunchtime Live by a listener to the programme, Andrea Clarke. Andrea you got in touch because she is dealing with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and is struggling to find somewhere to live...

On the Secret Witch Show today our guest Andrea Clarke. Andrea is a Feminine Embodiment Coach, holistic pelvic care practitioner and intuitive healer having cut her teeth in bodywork & energy medicine over 20 years ago. She helps women who feel numb & disconnected to reawaken their creative flow and align with clarity and direction with their soul purpose. Her womb space is her guide & muse & she seeks to fulfil her deepest desires ~ that which she wishes to birth through her. In this episode we dived into Womb Communion and how healing Feminine reclamation is, for any woman - but especially for those women wanting a gateway to their soul gifts. We explored into the nuance in the depth of Feminine Embodiment and how true intimacy with the wisdom of your womb is two way - including both listening and communing. We also dived into the Archetypal Remedy of the Rose and how softening, opening and relaxing leads to our full expression - and how the healing power lies in our womb space. What You'll Learn from this Episode: Womb Communion is opening to a two way intimate conversation with our wombs - about feelings, allowing space for our womb to fully express what she's holding. Our wombs are aspects of our consciousness and they have traveled with us for many lifetimes Our wombs carry and hold so much - from trauma to shame, to fear - and we want them to know they are able to release that holding - that is the aim of as well as finding out what it wants us to know our soul purpose We've often experienced a sense of disconnection from our wombs in this culture - things like addiction, alcohol, TV, social media, and even work hustle can be ways of us ignoring the secret wisdom of our wombs - and this is really an invitation to go deeper. It can feel scary to begin to commune with our wombs - we can hit up against harsh, masculine-feeling energy and fear, but it really offers us a chance to hear our souls Communing with our wombs helps us to go deeper into understanding ourselves - and a simple way of doing that is by asking Her - “what do you want to express?” We can also journey with her physically - moving energy with our hands and placing our hands over our womb space and being open to seeing what arises Overall, our wombs hold so much wisdom that's invaluable to our true purpose. Most people think they've got a grasp on history when it comes to the Tudors, but how much of that knowledge comes from pop culture or male historians? This week, Hannah chats to Dr Andrea Clarke, curator of The British Library's fantastic exhibition Elizabeth and Mary: Royal Cousins, Rival Queens. They talk about Queen Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots, how they were similar and how they were different, and what myths about them need to go in the bin right now. Have you heard of Fertility Massage? Ever wondered what it involved? or perhaps you are interested in becoming a therapist? Absolute pleasure to chat with Andrea Clarke on this episode about Fertility Massage/Womb Massage Therapy. We recorded the episode before the start of the COVID lockdown, and so are thoughts are initially about travel and warm destinations! We decided to hold off releasing the episode and as things started to re open we thought it would be a good time to release. I am as you may or not know a practitioner myself and I incorporate this in my coaching programme, with clients self massaging or their partners massaging. We chat about the therapy, the mind body and spiritual aspects and how you can access a practitioner as well as training to be a therapist. Fertility Massage Therapy is so much more than a massage, yes fascia and tissue is affected by the massage, but there is a deeper level of energy and connection to oneself that can be addressed. Working with the mind and body aspect, many things 'come up for clients' and this, certainly in my practice lends itself to working with the wider aspects of fertility, which is why many therapist have other fertility therapy aspects to their armoury. Andrea can be found at Root Medicine and on social media on Instagram and Facebook For details of Fertility Massage Therapy Practitioners near you, check the practitioner page I really hope that you enjoy the episode and is you have any comments or questions, as ever do reach out... Andrea Clarke thought she was doing the right thing when she warned a large US aid agency against misappropriating government funds. For her diligence, she was sacked. Andrea Clarke is a former journalist who was working as Head of Communications for one of the world's largest and most influential aid agencies in the US. She had been in Iraq during a very dangerous post-war rebuilding period when she witnessed fraud and misappropriation of government funds. Her letter to the CEO, warning him of the huge reputational damage to the organisation if the practice continued and became public, got her fired. What followed was immense stress, a frantic search for a new job and the realisation that we all have to future-proof ourselves for an era of unknowns. She's written a book called Future Fit with tips on how to make sure we stay employable, relevant and stand out from others when looking for a job. And Chris Kent from Hays talks about the pros and cons of taking a career break, and how to keep upskilling even when you are not working.

A reflection on an instance of what can only be described as male entitlement. Enjoy! Back to normal programming next week with Part 1 of my interview with Andrea Clarke, author of Future Fit and founder of CareerCEO.
This episode is a book review focusing on Chapter 4 of Future Fit by Andrea Clarke. I think this is a must-read for you because I believe that what will allow you to adapt and navigate the change that is going to continue to come at you as Executive Assistants is your 'power skills' or the human skills that Andrea outlines in the book. Functional competence (the stuff you can get done)and even strategic competence (your awareness of what and why stuff is happening in your team and the broader organisation) are not sufficient for Executive Assistants to be perceived as indispensable to their business leader and employers. It's the soft skill proficiency that's going to help you stand out and stand up. What I love about Chapter 4, Tapping Into Adaptability is that whilst Andrea lays out all the reasons why we must be able to adapt to change, she also reminds us to be kind to ourselves. Again, this is so aligned with my own advice to the people I coach and train. We are human beings, no human doings and reminding ourselves of this is a great way to start being kind to ourselves. Connect with Andrea at https://www.careerceo.com.au/ where you can find out more about her work and buy the book.
In this episode, we chat with Andrea Clarke about her new book #FutureFit which is about how to “future proof” your career and the need to upgrade our own capability in ways we may not have considered because she believes the future of work is about talent, not technology. I think this topic is so important for PR Professionals who are working in a constantly changing landscape – media is shifting, marketing is shifting, the whole industry is shifting – and While the fault-line is clear, so is the opportunity as long as we are willing to take our “human skills” to the next level. It's Thursday and we're joined by the wonderful Andrea Clarke. Andrea previously worked in Washington D.C. as news correspondent and spent time in the war torn Middle East as a humanitarian aid worker. Andrea's newly released book, 'Future Fit: how to stay relevant and competitive in the future of work' - which by the way is super captivating - delivers practical advice to keep up in intimidating workplace situations and dealing with the uncertainty that the future holds. On today's episode of The Daily Talk Show we discuss: Going from journalism into corporate communications The responsibility to do the right thing Compartmentalising emotion in reporting Working with people that inspire you Isolation and disconnect The new way of networking Implementing advice Creativity and the future of work Choosing how you want to convey yourself Buy Andrea's book, Future Fit: https://www.careerceo.com.au/futurefit Andrea on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrealouiseclarke/ Andrea's website, CareerCEO: https://www.careerceo.com.au/ Watch today's episode of The Daily Talk Show podcast at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3lrgEieu9Y Subscribe and listen to The Daily Talk Show podcast at https://www.thedailytalkshow.com/ Email us: hi@thedailytalkshow.com Send us mail: PO BOX 400, Abbotsford VIC 3067 A conversation sometimes worth recording with mates Tommy Jackett & Josh Janssen. In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with the enigmatic Andrea Clarke. Around 400 NAWO members complete her Communicating with Authority program and there have been many spectacular success stories from participants who have reported greater confidence, career progression, and all round greater control of their reputational capital…..we will talk a lot more about this in the podcast. Andrea runs an organisation called CareerCEO. You can find out all about it at www.careerceo.com.au. Andrea together with her colleagues Belinda Wall and Jennifer Adams, have been facilitating their program for NAWO members for the last 3 years right across the country and are active supporters of the work NAWO does – it is great to be able to partner with them to strengthen the female talent pipeline in operations! Our conversation though – is about Andrea’s new book. Future Fit! A terrific book all about the future of work, where Andrea takes a talent focussed approach to the challenges we all face in meeting the changing needs of a more technologically driven workplace. Algorithms, artificial intelligence, industry 4.0…..it has an impact on every industry in all kinds of ways. We all need to be investing in our capabilities to remain secure in the digital age of work. The responsibility for finding, securing and delivering work is shifting to the individual in ways we have not seen before., we need to invest in our own talent in ways we may not have considered. While this can be confronting and somewhat disconcerting, Andrea inspires us to look at this change as an opportunity: those who take 'human skills' to the next level, will be powerfully differentiated in a dynamic new market. The premise of Andrea’s book is that the future of work is as much about talent, as technology. I hope you enjoy the conversation and that it gets you inspired to read the book and take action to embrace your own development and invest in your reputational capital.

Welcome to " MUSIC IN THE AIR " Villahangar PodCast Show Fly with our Sound Every Friday! Don't miss it! Mix And Selected By https://soundcloud.com/tonymarachella : Laboratorio Luna è uno spazio di promozione sociale e culturale, totalmente aperto, libero e senza scopo di lucro. President Barack Obama has filed an appeal against a Texas federal judge's suspension of his executive order looking to stop millions of immigrants in the US from potential deportation. The executive action has been highly criticized by House Republicans as overstepping the bounds of his powers. Obama recently gave the executive order saying he was side-stepping Congress in the hopes of safeguarding millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation. The move to loop out Congress from the decision has been slammed as unconstitutional by Obama's critics. #immigrationlawyer #immingrationreform2015 #lawfirm
