Melissa Guerriero is the momma and Certified Lactation Counselor behind Pump Momma Pump on Instagram and pumpmommapump.com. Her first baby came one month early, and while he was born healthy, he lacked the stamina to nurse and had to be tube-fed during a short stay in the NICU, so she wound up exclusive pumping. At the time, she didn't know “exclusive pumping” was even a choice; she never imagined herself NOT directly nursing. She would eventually embrace this newfound style of breastfeeding and became empowered by her choice to exclusively pump. Iris Chen on choosing unschooling to align with her values.   Iris Chen is the founder of the Untigering movement and author of "Untigering: Peaceful Parenting for the Deconstructing Tiger Parent."
