"Spider Man: Homecoming" finally gives us a chance to see the MCU version of our web-slinging hero in his very own movie. The young Peter Parker is trying to be a good hero to impress Tony Stark, but going up against the villainous Vulture may be a little too much for him. The Vulture, aka Adrian Toomes, secretly acquires and uses illegal alien tech for his own profit. He also gets away from Spider Man at each encounter. Peter's life is turned upside down by his new role as hero and he'll have to learn what it truly means before earning the suit. Plus, he needs to find a date to Homecoming. Jay and Josh show their expertise in the MCU, mostly because they didn't qualify for the academic decathlon team on a hiatus special of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Case Files.

Quentin Beck aka Mysterio's debut in Spider-Man: Far From Home stole the show and Jake Gyllenhaal's performance as the master of trickery and illusions was praised by fans and critics alike. There is no doubt the MCU already has a slate of awesome villains such as Thanos, Loki and the Vulture (and also a lot of bad ones such as Kaecilius and Malekith), but how well does Mysterio contend against them for the spot of best villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (oh while ignoring the recent news)?

In the wake of the Battle of New York between the Avengers and the Chitauri construction worker Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) is set up for a big payday with the rebuilding of New York. When Damage Control, a new business venture for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), comes and takes the work out from under him. Toomes vows to change his ways to take advantage of the new order of things. Eight years later, after returning from his own adventure with The Avengers Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is struggling to fit back into high school. Too nervous to approach high school senior Liz (Laura Harrier) and too absorbed by his brief brush with superheroes to focus on the debate team, Peter spends all of his time contacting Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) looking for his next mission. When he comes across some illegal arms traders in New York, Peter takes the opportunity to prove once and for all that he can step up from being a small time hero. After he crosses paths with the leader of the gang Adrian Toomes, now going by the moniker Vulture, and almost destroys the Staten Island Ferry, Tony is more convinced than ever that Peter isn’t ready. But after removing all of the gadgets and toys Tony has given him, Peter steps up to the challenge and foils Toomes plan to  steal more of Stark’s tech from under his nose. Peter is rewarded with an even more improved spider suit and a full time place at Avengers Academy. But realising he has plenty of life ahead of him he decides to work his way up as a friendly neighbourhood Spider-man. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-man is back! Introduced in Captain America: Civil War, this film follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he longs to be a part of The Avengers. Too bad that pesky thing called High School is in the way. In this outing, we find Peter Parker as an awkward teenager, who has a crush on schoolmate Liz, while also brushing up on his knowledge on a school team vying for a national academic competition. He also happens to have an internship with part-time father figure Tony Stark, who is using the opportunity to mentor the lad on the ways to use his technologically advanced costume that's enhanced like a magic Swiss-army knife by an AI control device Peter dubs 'Karen' (all tech courtesy of Stark Industries) to thwart criminals around the city. He gets more than his match when the Vulture, a spurned blue-collar Joe turned hi-tech criminal named Adrian Toomes, comes on the scene, having confiscated alien technology (from the Chitauri, as a seen in Marvel's The Avengers) in order to manufacture and sell ultra-powerful weapons on the black market.
