Kepala SD Islam Terpadu Mutiara Hati di Desa Purwareja, Banjarnegara, Eti Endarwati, menegaskan bahwa pemecatan Novi sama sekali tidak ada kaitannya dengan lagu kontroversial Sukatani. Menurutnya, pemecatan berkaitan dengan kode etik yayasan. Eti menyebut Novi dinilai tidak mematuhi kewajiban sebagai tenaga pendidik di sekolah. Pihak sekolah mengatakan telah mengeluarkan surat pemecatan sejak 6 Februari 2025, sebelum viralnya lagu Bayar yang kini menjadi polemik.

Our guest today grew up in rural Mongolia; hundreds of miles from anything resembling an advanced health care facility. So when his legs stopped working as a young boy; finding out the reason would not be easy. The family began their quest by traversing over 400 miles across Mongolia without a paved road in sight making their way to the capital city. They found new jobs and connected their son with the best health care available at the time. 3 years later they still had no answer. In fact in took 7 years until our guest, Bayar Damdinjav, received his diagnosis of an incurable auto-immune disease. The pivotal moment in Bayar's life was when he decided to move back home to eastern Mongolia and attempt to be a normal teenager, which at that point involved going to high school. Nothing in his town was built for someone in a wheelchair. No sidewalks, no paved roads, no ramps, or elevators. Academically, there would be a lot of catching up to do, as he hadn't attended school in 3 years. The odds were stacked against him. What he's accomplished since then, might surprise you.

For 70 years, Mongolia was closed off to the world under Soviet communist rule. When the country opened up in 1991, Dr. Bayar Garamtseren was 18 years old and began attending the very first church in modern-day Mongolia. Today, he is the first Mongolian to receive a PhD in biblical studies, directs the Mongolian Bible translation project, pastors a local church, coordinates Langham Preaching in Mongolia, and runs a Christian publishing house—all so that the church may be strengthened in maturity as it continues to grow in number. In part two of his conversation with Chris, Bayar discusses how the young and energetic Mongolian church can be a blessing to the global body of Christ, and how he's striving to equip his nation with trained leaders and resources.
