Actor, writer, and director Bill Posley (BITCH ASS) is incredibly passionate about sports movies—he's watched them all. And when he exhausts the usual suspects, he delves into FAITH-BASED SPORTS MOVIES, like American Underdog (2021), where the Jesus/sports ratio might deter some viewers... but not Bill.
Leah Rantz talks with comedian, writer, and U.S. Army Vet Bill Posley about his upcoming show-"Bill Does the Talent Show" at the Roar Comedy Club at MGM Springfield.

We have a hilarious chat with one of Lauren's old comedy buddies: actor, writer, director, and standup, Bill Posley! As a Black-presenting, Catholic school *and* Baptist Church-attending veteran from a military family, you can probably guess how easy it was for Bill to accept the fact that he was bisexual. He weaves a Tarantino-esque tale that involves answering a classified ad for masseuses, getting clean and sober, and having a surprisingly revelatory coming out conversation with his father. Plus: Uncle Reggie's fabulous adventures in West Hollywood!Find Bill everywhere at @BillPosley, and check out his standup, By The Bi, and more on his YouTube channel!

Revisiting old episodes and here's one I did about a year ago with actor Bill Posley about his one man show ABOUT THE SHOW: The Day I Became Black is created, written and performed by Posley (CBS's The Neighborhood, Netflix's Glow), with direction by Bente Engelstoft (The Ellen DeGeneres Show). Nominated for Best Solo Show and Top of the Fringe at the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival, the show details Bosley's experience of growing up biracial in America. Until the age of 10, Posley was happy to identify as both races, until he learns that society, ultimately, always chooses an identity for him. The Day I Became Black is a story of finding the comedy in the struggle to fit in and just be yourself.

After Bill Posley's (The Day I Became Black, Survivor) family filed for bankruptcy and his house was foreclosed on, he didn't have money for college. So he joined the Army after high school and graduated from basic training... on 9/11. He talks about how the army prepared him for failure, how he was escorted out of Sunset Gower Studios because he thought Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas had stollen a TV show idea of his, and getting lured into a sham production company which ended with him driving on the Scientology Celebrity Center lawn after Tom Cruise and John Travolta refused to see his boss. Bill's exit came as a result of a never before seen event on the show, and was orchestrated by one of the darkest, ugliest people to play the game. Bill represented himself well and will live on in the Survivor history books, but the circumstances surrounding his departure will not be a moment anyone will enjoy recalling. Listen to this interview to hear what personal information he kept from his tribe, what it was like watching with family and friends, why he thought his alliance failed to stand up to Colton and lots more!
