Story at-a-glance Research shows microplastics become trapped in brain blood vessels when consumed by immune cells, leading to reduced blood flow and impaired cognitive function in mice Human brain tissue contains seven to 30 times more microplastic contamination than other organs, with particularly high concentrations found in individuals diagnosed with dementia Researchers identified a direct pathway for microplastics to enter your brain through your nose, bypassing the blood-brain barrier via the olfactory system Polypropylene, a common plastic used in packaging and consumer goods, was found in over 40% of brain tissue samples, highlighting the impact of everyday plastic exposure Practical solutions such as water filtration, choosing natural fiber clothing and using non-plastic food packaging help reduce your microplastic exposure

More clone wars, this one gets dark but it's invasion of the body snatchers and a lightsaber fight between Ahsoka and Barris.
We finally end our five episode "Second Battle of Geonosis" arc with a two-part horror story line, which we find to be one of the most unique stories told in all of Clone Wars. Somehow managing to delightfully toe the line between scary and fun, it leaves both of us wishing we had more horror themes in Star Wars content. Just in time for spooky season, we have the creepiest Clone Wars arc yet. In “Legacy of Terror” and “Brain Invaders” (Season 2, eps. 7-8) we get up close and personal with parasitic brain worms, an underground egg-laying queen and a horde of zombie warriors. Yes, this is all canon. Watching along with us? Next week, we're recapping the Deserter arc: Season 2, episodes 9-10. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/growingupskywalker/message
Grab your Gatorade and orange slices, because Ahsoka and Barriss Offee are girlbossing VERY close to the sun. We're going full “Saving Private Ryan” in the Second Battle of Geonosis arc (The Clone Wars season 2, episodes 5-6). There are super-tanks, flamethrowers, Lord of the Rings-style kill counts and a genuinely moving #TeamPadawan arc. It is...spectacular. Watching along with us? In this episode, the Divas discuss the Clone Wars episodes "Legacy of Terror" (s2e7) and "Brain Invaders" (s2e8). We kick off the episode with a discussion that causes a stir on a particular social media platform. Unlike the previous two episodes, which were based on World War 2 stories, these episodes are directly inspired by sci-fi horror movies. The divas were grossed out and horrified by what happens in these episodes. Join them as they discuss how gross brain worms are, why Obi-Wan is still horrible, and the official debut of Darth Vader.

O equipamento analisa todas as ondas elétricas cerebrais e possibilita a interface homem-máquina, como explica o pesquisador do instituto francês, Marco Congedo.
