A simple way to stand out as a mom coach is to discover your core message and put it on repeat. While this might sound at first like the most boring marketing approach imaginable, the opposite is true. What happens is you start developing a truly intimate relationship with what your ideal client is struggling with and get to say over and over again how you can help, you allow the inspiration of poetry to move your potential clients to taking action and enter your world. I'm taking about metaphors and how they can help you create a truly unique niche and help you discover your mom coaching shtick. Happy New Years, everyone! I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season, and we are glad to have you back listening in 2023 as we head toward our 4th anniversary of this illustrious podcast! We stay pretty true to form this week, though, as we give our thoughts on how the Hot Ones challenge went from last week. We also give a little run down of everyone's NYE festivities and then hop into some trivia. The Ramblin' Rabbi was on the line as Sarah quizzed the boys in a round of America's Pub Trivia. It went very well for one participant, and not so much for the other. We hope you enjoy the show, and we would love to have some more guests in 2023 to tell some stories, play games, etc. Also, if there's something you would like to hear us cover, feel free to reach out to one of us, or message the show on FB. Cheers!
JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey begin this Washington Football Talk by remarking about how well the bye week went for the Commanders and their playoff odds before wondering what the environment at FedEx Field will be like for this coming Sunday night's massive matchup with the Giants. After that, JP catches the guys up on his busy week, which will include a stop at the league's next set of owner's meetings in Dallas. What will that get-together be like and will anything notable occur? Then, to close, you'll get — and this is Pete's dream — a compilation of the show's most shticky segments, which includes Mitch's ridiculous call from Oktoberfest in Germany and a throwback to our guy Tandler's love of cheesy humor. If you like podcasts where JP channels his inner Ron Rivera and you get 10 different shtick-filled conversations from the past, then this is the episode for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Welcome back. In his book, Shtick to Business, Peter McGraw addresses how professionals have one of two problems: they either work too hard or don't work hard enough. He puts forth a model for both groups called "Grind and Release." In this episode, he brings together two solos from the world of fitness and rehabilitation to talk about the "release" side of the equation, with a focus on rest and recovery (and how they are not the same thing). If you take away anything from this episode, it is the magic formula: Walk, Water, and Sleep. Note: bonus material is back with the team talking about cannabis, mushrooms, and sex.
