O abrigo nos deu instruções rigorosas sobre como estabelecer a rotina de alimentação na primeira semana para que Juno soubesse que nossa casa lhe pertencia, o lugar onde ele sempre teria comida e segurança. Assim, mesmo que Juno pudesse dar suas saídas, ele sempre voltaria para casa. Se não conhecemos o nosso verdadeiro lar, somos sempre propensos a vagar em uma busca vã por bondade, amor e significado. Mas, se queremos encontrar nossa verdadeira vida, Jesus disse: “Permaneçam em mim” (JOÃO 15:4). O estudioso bíblico Frederick Dale Bruner destaca como permanecer evoca um senso de família e lar. Assim, Bruner traduz as palavras de Jesus desta maneira: “Fique em casa em mim”. Para explicar essa ideia, Jesus usou a ilustração de ramos ligados a uma videira. Os ramos, se quiserem viver, devem sempre ficar apensos e fixos aos troncos (permanecendo) em sua fonte de sustento. They couldn't get pizza delivered to their Southside Chicago neighborhood so Brandon, a trained chef, began experimenting with making a Chicago Deep Dish pizza. Soon, they started making pizza for friends and family. The two started selling pizza at a nearby bar and the virtual pizzeria was born doing popups.  They ventured into a brick-and-mortar restaurant partnership but soon realized that they wanted to create their own vision in their Woodlawn neighborhood that was in need of restaurant options. Landing the location that the two had their eye on came with an application process. After great strides, Lynn's Chicago Pizza opened serving up deep dish and Chicago thin crust pizza.  Lynn and Brandon opened more than a pizzeria. Lynn's serves as a community hub with events and special nights for people to gather.  Their efforts have drawn local and national attention.
