Jordan Peterson appears of late to be a shadow of the man he once was, specifically in relation to the masculine strongman who took on C16 in Canada during the late 2010s. Peterson is in an odd position as a conservative figure, yet blatantly a radical subjectivist, leading him into the peculiar stance of being a postmodern anti-postmodernist. We discuss his bouts of crying on TV, how Peterson is an odd fit with the Daily Wire, the tendency of claiming feminist talking points after we've been proved right, Peterson's Jungian conception of god, and how his naive advice for women was reality tested by his daughter Mikhaila, yielding very poor results.

Interview with David Greelish, Apple Lisa Documentary Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FloppyDays Sponsors: 8-Bit Classics Arcade Shopper FutureVision Research Hello, and welcome to episode 150 of the Floppy Days Podcast for April, 2025. My name is Randy Kindig and I'm the host for this journey through the annals of home computer history. This month, I'm going to step aside from the ongoing series of episodes about the HP 97/67 programmable calculators to bring you a timely interview with a good friend about an interesting topic. That friend is David Greelish, a computer historian, and the topic is his recent publication of a film documentary about the Apple Lisa, called "Before Macintosh: The Apple Lisa". David tells us all about the film, why he produced it, why the Apple Lisa was an important part of home computer history, who he interviewed for the film (he had some amazing guests) and much more. It's a great film and should interest a lot of the listeners, so please consider going out and purchasing the film in order to support David's efforts. For upcoming shows, we do have one more episode in the series on the HP97 with HP calculator historian Wlodek Mier-Jedrzejowicz. I will air that episode very soon. A: 三不vv.1-9: 1.

We discuss the origins of the occult movements in the West. Where did this begin in the US? Why is it making a comeback in other parts of the West? What is it rooted in? What purpose does it serve? Also, we talk the recent passing of C16 in Canada. What can now happen as a result of your accused behaviour? How will this change how you think and speak to others? Are we descending into authoritarianism right before our very eyes? And, what do royally fake photos and actors look like? We ask the questions. Palm oil is a wonder ingredient, used in almost everything from toothpaste and oat milk to biodiesel and laundry detergent. But to keep pace with rising global demand, producers have burned down millions of acres of rainforests to create more palm oil plantations, worsening climate change and making the air hazardous for entire countries in the process. C16 Biosciences has a plan to save those rainforests – and to shake up the behemoth palm oil industry while doing it. Since founding the company in 2018, Shara Ticku and her co-founders have cracked the code on its first beauty product made with lab-generated palm oil. And once they brought it to market? It sold out immediately! This week on How I Built This Lab, Shara talks to Guy about how introducing C16's initial product to a secondary market laid the foundation for even greater commercial success. Plus, Shara shares how a tight budget, scrappy science, and home-brewed beer were the keys to unlocking substantial funding. This episode was produced by Carla Esteves and edited by John Isabella, with music by Ramtin Arablouei.
