00:03:50 - 00:18:12Trump's $175 billion Golden Dome missile defense system aims to use space-based interceptors to counter advanced missiles, but China warns it risks militarizing space and sparking an arms race. Congress estimates costs at $500 billion over 20 years. Russia's nuclear-powered Burevestnik missile, with unlimited range, could render it obsolete, raising concerns about budget overruns and SpaceX's involvement. 00:18:36 - 00:26:10Neocons push for war with Iran, demanding its nuclear program's dismantlement, while MAGA influencers like Bannon and Greene favor diplomacy. This reflects public exhaustion with Middle East wars, opposing defense contractors' agendas, with the host noting a hopeful shift against escalation. 00:31:12 - 00:38:12The Pentagon, citing unverified Chinese “super soldier” claims, proposes genetic experiments on U.S. troops using CRISPR and mRNA, alongside biosurveillance. Ethical concerns arise over human experimentation and CIA ties, with deregulation favoring biotech firms, risking taxpayer funds and safety. 00:44:45 - 00:53:36Trump grants asylum to 54 Afrikaner South Africans facing violence and land confiscation, confronting Ramaphosa with evidence of “white genocide.” The host supports this, criticizing media deflections and narrow refugee definitions, emphasizing the severe persecution Afrikaners endure. 01:17:37 - 01:36:07The FDA now requires trials for COVID-19 vaccines for healthy people aged 6 months to 64, but approved high-risk group vaccines without data, rushed by Trump's “warp speed.” A Senate report reveals Biden officials hid myocarditis risks in young men, delaying warnings despite early signals, driven by corporate interests. Low vaccine uptake (13% kids, 23% adults) and rising heart issues highlight the cover-up. 01:36:07 - 01:40:50Medpage Today confirms RFK Jr.'s claim that the MMR mumps vaccine is ineffective, admitting Merck's fraudulent data, but dismisses him as a lawyer. Failed lawsuits left untested, harmful vaccines on the market, with one-third of trial kids facing health issues, exposing systemic vaccine regulation flaws. 01:48:10 - 02:01:35A bill strips states' AI regulation rights for 10 years, a Trump-backed federal power grab seen as unconstitutional. States urged to block AI infrastructure. Vermont pauses its EV mandate, citing weak tech and infrastructure, resisting California's 2035 EV push, which could set a national standard. 02:04:03 - 02:08:48Rep. Luna's bill seeks to repeal the Patriot Act, blamed for post-9/11 surveillance and rights violations. The host sees 9/11 as a pretext for wars and a police state, urging the act's end to curb intelligence agency abuses and restore privacy. 02:10:21 - 02:34:23Cecile Richards, dead at 67 from brain cancer, is condemned for leading 3.5 million abortions at Planned Parenthood and alleged fetal part sales. Her unrepentant stance, Freedom from Religion awards, and Biden's Medal of Freedom are criticized as anti-God. Kushner's 2017 funding offer was rejected. Abortion's 2024 toll (45.1 million, 42% of deaths) and 60% of African American deaths are called “black genocide.” GOP's funding via CARES Act ($80 million) and MAGA's defense of Trump's vaccines are slammed. 02:37:05 - 02:49:03Brown Foods' “Unreal Milk” and Israeli lab-grown dairy, like Wilk, claim to cut emissions by 82%, backed by Gates and USDA despite no farming. Biomilq targets infants, tied to C40's no-dairy push. Called “tumor milk,” it's criticized as an anti-agriculture, climate-driven scam with lax FDA oversight. 02:50:39 - 03:00:36Trump's “Gold Card” visa, costing $5 million, claims 250,000 applicants to raise $1 trillion, but only 277,000 global millionaires qualify. Offering tax-free foreign income and no country caps, it's decried as a corrupt deal for Trump's allies, bypassing vetting and America-first values.Follow the show on Kick and watch live every weekday 9:00am EST – 12:00pm EST https://kick.com/davidknightshow Money should have intrinsic value AND transactional privacy: Go to https://davidknight.gold/ for great deals on physical gold/silver For 10% off Gerald Celente's prescient Trends Journal, go to https://trendsjournal.com/ and enter the code KNIGHT Find out more about the show and where you can watch it at TheDavidKnightShow.comIf you would like to support the show and our family please consider subscribing monthly here: SubscribeStar https://www.subscribestar.com/the-david-knight-showOr you can send a donation throughMail: David Knight POB 994 Kodak, TN 37764Zelle: @DavidKnightShow@protonmail.comCash App at: $davidknightshowBTC to: bc1qkuec29hkuye4xse9unh7nptvu3y9qmv24vanh7Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-david-knight-show--2653468/support.

Flere aktører tilbyder nu markante rabatter på næsten fabriksnye Volvo-elbiler, herunder modeller som C40, XC40 og den kompakte EX30. In this episode of Cities 1.5, David speaks with two urban climate leaders about the critical issue of energy access in Africa. Despite Africa's low contribution to global emissions, the continent faces a rising energy demand that necessitates a transition to renewable energy in order to ensure its accessibility for all. The fossil fuel industry has a devastating legacy across the African continent, leaving a trail of destruction in its polluting wake...and the oil lobby often presents pipelines to local communities as the only path forward - without disclosing the fact that they're more unstable, dangerous and expensive than green alternatives. In Severed Conscience we identified that a Controlled Environment was being constructed while you are occupied online.  This environment is presented as a technological nirvana, a Utopia that will not only save the planet from the ravages of climate change, but will be the next step in human development.  We will be our best selves when we live in these engineered habitats.  This concept has been conveyed in various forms as 15 Minute Cities, where everything you need is found within a 15 minute walk or bike ride.  But as with all the phrases used by practitioners of the Hegelian Dialectic, terms are altered and definitions change.  The old 15 Minute City is now the C40 city.In this episode Zee examines how the promise of renewable energy is a carrot to allow farm land to be seized for Big Tech.  AI requires far more energy and water than traditional cloud computing services.  This means that the government acts as the agent who determines if a generational farm can continue to operate, or if it must be cleared for renewable energy projects.  Maryland is currently allowing corporations to invoke eminent domain for energy projects that will feed Big Tech's data centers.  Is the destruction of farms in favor of power transmission lines the true spirit of saving our eco-systems?We have been manipulated. Shownotes and Transcript Join us as we sit down with Tom Nelson, the provocative force behind "Climate: The Movie." This episode explores Tom's unique journey from a career in electronics to becoming a vocal sceptic of mainstream climate narratives. Discover how a simple hoax about an ivory-billed woodpecker ignited his passion for truth in media, leading him down the path of climate discourse. Tom shares the challenges and triumphs of producing his documentary, revealing how technology has democratized filmmaking. He explains why releasing his film online for free was a choice of impact over income, and delves into the complexities of gathering credible voices in climate science. In our conversation, Tom critiques the portrayal of CO2, questions the use of young activists in climate debates, and examines the discrepancies in climate data. We'll also tackle the broader implications of renewable energy and electric vehicles on our environment and economy. This episode isn't just about climate; it's about questioning what we're told, understanding the science, and discussing the future of environmental policy. Tune in now for an enlightening discussion that might just change how you see the world. Watch "Climate: The Movie"      climatethemovie.net Tom Nelson has an MS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He was involved in tech and software for many years. In 2005, as an avid bird-watcher, Tom became heavily involved in debunking a high-profile, but bogus “Ivory-billed Woodpecker” rediscovery that opened his eyes to the problems with blindly trusting “peer-reviewed science”. Jack Hitt of the New York Times then went on to write about Tom's ivory-billed woodpecker work in his book “A Bunch of Amateurs”. A meteorologist pointed out lots of parallels between that woodpecker debate and the climate change debate to him, and Tom has been debunking climate change/energy claims almost daily since 2007.  Connect with Tom...

As the world heats up, our cities need to adapt. Today we speak with Thai landscape architect Kotchakorn Voraakhom on how she's designing new, more resilient urban environments in her homebase of Bangkok. Show notes from Chris:   Sadly, our cities are increasingly vulnerable to global heating. Flooding, heatwaves, storms, rising sea level, poor planning, and our over reliance on concrete are conspiring to make cities less resilient to climate shocks. But nature-based solutions – think parks, green spaces and tree-lined avenues to name but a few – offer positive solutions. The mayors of nearly 100 cities around the world have come together as C40 to tackle the climate crisis and have put together a great overview of what they're doing. A term you're going to hear more about with cities is “sponginess”. Rather than using concrete to channel water, “sponge cities” work with nature to manage rainwater. This is a fascinating article on how some of the world's cities compare. You can see Kotchakorn's awe-inspiring Bangkok park in her beautiful TED talk here. There is a wonderful interview with Kotchakorn about the Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park. Ecological economics lies at the heart of the Journal of City Climate Policy and Economy and C40's mission. It recognises that the former gold standard of measuring economic success – the growth of gross domestic product, or GDP – is no longer fit for purpose, despite the fact that it's the model that most national governments still rely on. Policies that allow us to prioritize the vitality of both people and the environment  - and potentially a systemic re-think of our economic global systems - are vital for the welfare of our world. Existing and developing technologies cannot solve all of our problems: transitioning away from oil and gas and stopping unsustainable growth and overconsumption are the first steps to ensuring a future for our planet – and for us.Image Credit: Photo by Nik on UnsplashFeatured guests:Peter Victor is a world-leading expert in the field of ecological economics and the author of several books, including his latest, Escape from Overshoot: Economics for a Planet in Peril. It feels fitting to start 2024 talking about the big numbers, the big climate financing gaps we face and ways to fill them. We know that addressing the climate crisis requires trillions of dollars of investment. It'll need to come from government, corporations, and big finance, but there's another stakeholder with an important contribution. Private philanthropic foundations have important roles to play too, particularly in helping communities that might otherwise be left behind and in using philanthropic capital as a catalyst. By de-risking investments and taking concessionary returns, philanthropy can unlock hundreds of billions of dollars of needed investment. Today, we're joined by Elizabeth Yee, who oversees Rockefeller Foundation's global programs, including its recent $1 billion commitment to climate change. I've gotten to work with the Rockefeller Foundation in a variety of partnerships over the years, and I've been impressed by how they recognize their ability to take a lead and help accelerate fields. Of course, it's interesting to remember the Foundation was initially funded by Standard Oil founder John D Rockefeller, something that Liz and I discuss in our conversation. In recent years, the Foundation has demonstrated real commitment to climate leadership. And even in the weeks following this interview, the Foundation announced that it will pursue a net-zero emissions target for its $6 billion endowment, making it the largest private US foundation to pursue a net-zero endowment to date. Liz and I talk about the Foundation's history in climate philanthropy, two different programs with billion-dollar plus commitments, how it works to catalyze other funding, the intersections of energy, food, health and economic opportunity and much, much more. Lots to learn and think about in this one. Here we go.In today's episode, we cover:[3:43] Elizabeth's background and history working on climate, along with her current role[7:15] Key elements of the Rockefeller Foundation's Climate Commitment [9:23] The Foundation's divestment from fossil fuels in its endowment and details about the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet[12:23] Reasons behind the significant commitment to climate and the timing of such a commitment[13:58] Overview of the billion-dollar commitment, including the main pillars and distribution across different climate priorities[16:35] The theory of change behind the Foundation's climate initiatives[19:36] The types of partners needed for the success of the initiatives[21:17] Influencing ideas and narratives[22:43] Selection process and priorities for initial grantees.[25:07] Grantees: Climate Mayors, C40, and the Urban Sustainability Directors Network[27:12] Insights into the Invest in Our Future Initiative and its significance[28:22] Grantees: Makerere University School of Public Health and University of the West Indies[30:32] Success for the foundation in committing significant resources to climate[32:00] The message for other investors or foundations considering a similar commitment[33:27] Elizabeth's outlook and hopefulness despite the existing financing gapsResources MentionedRockefeller FoundationPress Release: The Rockefeller Foundation Commits Over USD 1 Billion To Advance Climate Solutions

Electric Vehicles Emit More CO2, Not Less !!!

The key argument advanced by the proponents of electric vehicles is that they greatly reduce CO2 emissions. However, this doesn't seem substantiated, and this has major public policy implications. When you read the writings of organizations promoting a bold, rapid transition towards electric vehicles, the core argument is the reduction in CO2 emissions, as a way to combat global warming. While the most intellectually dishonest writings simply and falsely claim that electric vehicles are zero emission vehicles, others will acknowledge that some emissions are associated with EVs, yet they will argue that EVs will generate important CO2 emission savings. For example, the influential C40 global network, which encompasses nearly 100 mayors of major cities in the world, and is presided by London mayor Sadiq Khan, claims that:“Each electric vehicle that displaces a conventional car saves approximately 1.5 tons of CO2 per year which represents a 62% reduction compared to a petrol-powered car and a 53% reduction compared to a diesel-powered car.”In this podcast episode, we will see that this claim does not hold water. We will see that, for the foreseeable future, the only realistic solution, if one is serious about it, is to redirect our efforts out of electric vehicles and towards highly efficient internal combustion engine vehicles.See article and other related EV articles at: https://covexit.substack.com/

Alex is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. He is senior editor for The New American. He is co-author of Crimes of the Educators and author of Deep State- The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes. He's founder of Liberty Sentinel.--Alex described the C40 as a coalition of city governments and mayors that are trying to bring the global warming policy agenda down to the city level. He first came across it when Donald Trump announced he was going to leave the Paris Agreement in 2018. Eventually city and state governments and corporations from across the U.S. came together at a U.N. climate summit that immediately followed and said that they were going to do what the Paris climate agreement would have required the U.S. to do. They were going to do it without the federal government getting involved. --Large numbers of cities across the globe have now been recruited and they are trying to impose authoritarian policies that would micro-manage our lives, businesses, economy and families under the guise of saving us from climate change. Worse yet, cities have been doing this -under the radar- without consulting taxpayers and they're gaining momentum very quickly.
