David Wright joins Van to dig into the epic "Kree-Skrull War" from Avengers 89-97 in the early 1970s, by Roy Thomas, Neal Adams and Sal Buscema, with tons of guest stars including Captain Mar-Vell, the Inhumans, the Fantastic Four, and more. It's a classic bit of Marvel history, but does it hold up as a good Avengers story? We discuss!
In this weeks episode Peter has a quick question, or maybe a few.. or maybe a few too many. We design our perfect frankenhooker (call back!!) We also talk about super hero/villain babies and how we would raise them or catapult them (to test their powers of course!) Thor is a race care driver, and Evan thinks Ryan would run to the basement if there was a killer in a cabin.. which is not true. This off the grid episode is brought to you by neighbors who build fences and take out the internet!

Captain Marvel [vol 3] #1 (1995)When you go to the movies this weekend to see CAPTAIN MARVEL, just remember that instead of Carol, it could have been his snappy 90s space-boy. Genis-Vell is one of them aged clones — technically the “son” of the original Captain Mar-Vell — who grew up on nu-metal and probably drank Fruitopia or Orbitz on the regular. He turned out to be a grimy rager and in his first solo story, he takes a huge dump in a space toilet and then accidentally commits mass murder on a bunch of space-faring Shi’ar. Nice work buddy.Email the podcast at worstcollectionever@gmail.comContinue the conversation with Shawn and Jen on Twitter @angryheroshawn and @JenStansfield

It's the end of the Kree-Skrull War where we find out it was all a Captain Mar-Vell fever dream, the Supreme Intelligence was just a jar of pickled eggs, and Ronan the Accuser was a stray dog that licked Rick Jones's toes in his sleep. Or something like that.
Judge Matthew Sciarrino, Gerry O'Brien, and Joshua Gilliland, Esq., share their thoughts on the Agents of SHIELD episode "Who You Really Are?” We discuss the history of the Kree, background on the Inhumans, theories on Captain Mar-Vell, and what the possible Registration Act in Captain America: Civil War will require of super-humans. Political Consultant Gerry O'Brien and Josh Gilliland go full comic-book-political-spy geek as they discuss how the fictional Senator Christian Ward might still be alive and headed for the Presidency in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Gerry and Josh also discuss the history of Marvel's first Captain Mar-Vell, and how his original story would fit nicely on Agents of SHIELD before the Captain Marvel movie.
