Why does Strange New Worlds seem to have a problem understand the, ahem, Kor of pre-established characters? Why are they failing to make compelling television week-after-week? Maybe it's because they aren't interested in making Star Trek at all. We're nudging through the noir nonsense, complaining about conveniences, and griping about the gimmicks!
Two No. 1's make the Enterprise's mission to Mat'Aar more than black and white. This podcast is presented in vivid black-and-white, as we discuss a Strange New World visit that reminds us a lot of a TOS episode—but without the bright colors designed to sell color television sets in the 1960s. Una ponders space doppelgangers, M’Benga enjoys a selection of hats and coats, and Uhura gets the mind probe. Gratuitous Klingon guest stars! Confusing sci-fi rules! And if you haven’t seen “Casablanca,” well… Scott McNulty and Jason Snell.
Hosts Cam Smith and Tyler Orton serve up some finger food while reviewing Strange New Worlds' latest episode, The Griffin Incident. From Spock's ears, to Kirk's fatherhood struggles and the mysterious new organization Division 12, the duo break it all down. Plus, the hosts give their thoughts on Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Mark relates the art of Chiaroscuro, (light and dark), to today's reading of John 3 v 1-17, that tells of Jesus's conversation with Nicodemus.

I feel like I really F***d everything up with everyone relying on me and the faq. Plus, the same thing happened to me when I tried to do the Imago walkthrough at launch without knowing there was a Chiaroscuro ending. A lot of people who were playing along with the guide got to the end and felt like they'd missed out on the true ending because they were following my advice. 20:38 : Well they should've played without a guide then. 20:38 : No one says they had to use a guide, though. 20:38 : Jinx! 20:38 : sry, i dont really get it, u think ppl on some form are gonna be mad because u didnt know about the castle? 20:38 : The forum can get pretty intense, Hoagie. I feel like people are always trying to argue over there. 20:39 : Not you though, right? n.n;;;;; 20:39 : No! I just don't like it when people get things wrong. 20:39 : Yeah, and guess who just got a BIG thing wrong. Idk guys, I think I gotta take a break until the holidays are over. AMDG. Catholic evangelist and podcaster Dave VanVickle is “obsessed” with St. Maximilian Kolbe and Marian consecration, and you should be too. In his background aiding exorcists, Dave discovered that “Mary is the lynch pin in almost every case.” Since then, Dave dove deeply into Marian consecration, inviting everyone to “give your life to Our Lady.” He discusses what Marian consecration really is (hint: it doesn't have to be 33 days long), how to approach the prayer, and why we should not view it superstitiously. Dave found devotion to St. Maximilian Kolbe through his research into Marian consecration. “This was a man who fell so deeply in love with our lady,” Dave comments, “He was doing theology that was high level… He desperately needs to be studied.” Links mentioned & relevant: Dave's website The Catholic Truth about Angels, Demons, Ghosts, Exorcisms, and Hauntings Every Knee Shall Bow podcast The writings of St. Maximilian Kolbe and more information on Marian Consecration via the Militia Immaculata website Related Kolbecast episodes: 100 In the Beginning with Kolbe Academy co-founder Mrs. Dianne Muth 174 Kolbe's Chiaroscuro with Anthony D'Ambrosio about his film on St. Maximilian Kolbe Triumph of the Heart 134 For Tinkerers of All Ages highlighting St. Maximilian Kolbe's engagements with media developments of his time 168 The Adventure of a Lifetime with Melissa Dee of the Saints Alive podcast 268 Pilgrimage & Jubilee with Our Lady of Champion featuring Kolbe Academy alumnus Fr.

Call and response, ebb and flow. This concept of Chiaroscuro or strong, bold, contrasts between shadow and brightness. The affect can, and does... define so many releases. How common, is a theme that we can all identify but may not name immediately. For what it's worth, it does make wonderful moments. And so we arrive here, with Minjoon, and in turn what Initiate Records are using as an idea and artistic focus all the better, as they play with the notion of musical freedom and let their friends and artists they trust, define themselves under an idea rather than defined sound. Minjoon's contribution to this series will be released on the 14th of June. We'll be watching, and listening closely, and beyond. @minjoonofficial @initiate_concept www.instagram.com/minjoon_mm/ www.instagram.com/initiate.concept/ Follow us on social media: @itsdelayed linktr.ee/delayed www.itsdelayed.com www.facebook.com/itsdelayed www.instagram.com/_____delayed/ www.youtube.com/@_____delayed
In this episode, John Henny interviews Kenneth Bozeman about the concept of the chiaroscuro whisper. Ken explains that the chiaroscuro whisper is a technique used to identify the resonances of the vocal tract by introducing a white noise into the vocal tract. This technique allows singers to tune their vocal tract and hear the pitches of each resonance peak. Ken also discusses the difference between vocal fry and the white noise of the whisper, as well as the importance of tuning resonances for efficient and pleasurable singing. He emphasizes the need to focus on expression and feelings rather than language when singing. Episode highlights: The chiaroscuro whisper helps identify the resonances of the vocal tract. Tuning resonances is important for efficient and pleasurable singing. The white noise of the whisper is different from vocal fry, and the chiaroscuro whisper may be closer to a regular singing sound than vocal fry. When using the chiaroscuro whisper, it is important to focus on expression and feelings rather than language. The sensation of pleasure is a good indicator of vocal efficiency. Nativity with St. Francis and St. Lawrence considered a 17th century masterpiece, created by Italian painter Caravaggio in 1609. Nativity has been missing since it was nicked by thieves in Palermo in 1969. No one for sure knows who stole it, or why they stole it, but what might have become of it has sparked dozens of tales. One prominent theory is that it was stolen by the mafia – and, quite possibly, eaten by pigs.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
