We started the day with a giant Tomahawk steak and ended it with a gas station giveaway and a certified Banger Bus. What better way to kick off a long weekend!? Klein cooked a Tomahawk steak for two hours last night just to bring it to Ally to help increase her red meat consumption for fertility success. If you want to see a lesbian handle 5lbs of rare meat, check out the YouTube livestream. While you're there, check out DJ Omar Khan in the flesh! He came in the studio and strapped in to a lie detector for his very first LIE DAY FRIDAY. It resulted in a health scare, some eye opening questions about selling drugs, and a plan for Omar and lie detector guy John Grogan to do Molly together after the show. We got an incredible unexpected delivery on the show today. The Print Gurus, who are big fans and incredible merch makers, delivered the first ever Klein Ally Show plushie. And not just any plushie, it was a Vanessa themed Chicken Lady plushie! This is yet another thing you have to watch YouTube to see. It even makes noise! We closed out this holiday week by giving away free gas to anyone listening to our show while filling up at a random gas station in LA. If you see Postmaster Johnny at the pump, hit him up!

(but thanks for that quote anyway). Hosted by Klein, Ally, and a cast of weirdos (both on the team and from their audience), the show is known for its raw, offbeat style, offering a mix of sarcastic banter, candid interviews, and an unfiltered take on everything from culture to the chaos of everyday life. In the spirit of the season, we've brought out from behind the paywall our full episode on The Kids in the Hall. Happy holidays, everyone! Support us on Patreon ~~ Inspired by the recently released sixth season of The Kids in the Hall, Naomi and Aaron discuss this legendary sketch comedy show. We breakdown some of their most notorious sketches, including Cabbage Head and The Chicken Lady, and pay special attention to their unfairly maligned feature film, Brain Candy (1996). Finally, we consider the dangers of cultural nostalgia and decide that we'll do it anyway.

Erin B, as she's known in local circles, began her life in Michigan and now spends her days with us in Roanoke, VA. She runs long distances and saves the world each day at the Red Cross. The fact that she's a Type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetic makes her adventures even more impressive. Her home sits at the top of one of the highest peaks in Roanoke housing three dogs and four chickens. Give her a listen!
This week The Chicken Lady and That Gay Farmer sit down to answer your questions. Of course they get sidetracked a bit along the way. Thank you everyone who sent us questions and if we missed yours this time we will get it in a future episode.
Join us this week for a little distraction while social distancing as The Chicken Lady discuses how she came to farming and what all she is doing on her crazy one acre farm. Vanessa shares a few ideas on how everyone can grow food on minimal land or a patio. Cody shares his love of mending fences with zip ties and learns that boar taint is not the name of a seedy bar. Then he answers the listener question of the week about “the little hat” and why he wears it. *note: due to COVID-19 and our states current Shelter in Place order we will be taking a break from recording. Stay safe, and wash your hands!
Welcome to the first episode of "The Chicken Lady and That Gay Farmer". Vanessa and Cody sit down to introduce themselves before any farm related disasters occur.
