From last-minute shopping advice to the box it or bag it gift wrap debate, the Walmart and Sam's Club Radio team had holiday gifts on the brain. Kirby kicked off the show with a festive round of 20 Seconds or Less, and Barbara from Store 2047 in Palmyra, Maine sleighed the game. Then, talk about timing! Just as Bo confessed that he'd barely gotten started on his Christmas shopping, Amber and Ryan from walmart.com/live stopped by with 11th hour gift ideas to satisfy everyone on Bo's list. Spirits were bright on the Chris Show, especially when customer Autumn called in to shout out her mom, who has worked at Store 177 in Paris, Arkansas, for 42 years! Anything else? Kirby and Producer Dave took on the queen of Christmas in the Group Chat, and it was all downhill when sledding overtook snowball fights by a single vote during the closest Epic Showdown in Chris Show history – say it ain't snow (oh oh
From a bevvy of fall birthday shoutouts to Bo's Halloween tips, the Walmart & Sam's Club Radio team embraced the spirt of the season – and more – on this week's episode. Bo tried to mist-ify listeners with a spooky round of Detective Product, but Tyler from Store 2909 in Corry, Pennsylvania, was able to clear the air. A game of Take on Me took a cheese-y turn on The Chris Show, and Chelsea from Store 2059 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, called in with a picture-perfect response. Over on the Bo Show, callers took a page out of the [recipe] book with their guesses for Bo's Impossible Question: Dog owners name their pets after this food more than any other. Sean from Store 3278 in Lincoln, Nebraska, had a particularly meaty guess. The guessing games continued over on the Chris Show, with a surprisingly challenging round of Guess the Movie. Amber from Store 3059 in Canton, Mississippi, got it in two – thanks to a little help from her fellow associates. What else? Kirby challenged Dave to an end-of-year hoop-off, a dad joke hit new heights on the Bo Show and more. Tune in! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The phones were ringing off the hook at the Walmart and Sam's Club Radio studio last week, and Kirby, Bo and Chris were ready for all the convos. Kirby jumped right into the Group Chat, where she and Producer Dave discussed the new trend for couples getting married. Then, Justin from Store 3632 in Sandusky, Michigan, called Kirby a second time after Producer Dave accidentally hung up on him! Dave was a smooth(er) operator on the Bo Show, and Jeff from Store 483 in Prattville, Alabama, had no problem calling in to be dubbed Bo's Associate Caller of the Day. It was a barrel of laughs over on the Chris Show, when Chris brought back Master Dad Joke Theatre in honor of National Tell a Joke Day. Chris shared some well-tailored zingers, and Mary from Store 1714 in Fairmont, West Virginia, was waffly glad to bring the breakfast puns. What else? Kirby and Dave debated micro-workouts versus macro-workouts; Bo stumped callers with his Impossible Question; and Chris fielded a plethora of birthday shoutouts, including a double shoutout to twins Eva and Laura in Store 320 in Marlin, Texas. From summer travel trends to an inside look at Walmart's newest – and largest – NextGen Fulfillment Center, the Walmart and Sam's Club radio team covered a lot of ground in this week's episode. Bo kicked off the show with his very first caller and Associate of the Day, Stacie, from Store 5192 in Sacramento, California. Over on Kirby Gwen & Friends, Kirby served up a round of birthday shoutouts to her fellow Geminis before jumping into the Group Chat to talk about a New Orleans legend and the new obsession for “second city travel.” She also gave a double shoutout to Jody and Rachel from Store 502 in Cut Off, Louisiana. The duo was celebrating their 40th workaversary – and Store 502 was celebrating 40 years, too! Meanwhile, Master Dad Joke Theater made its return to the Chris Show. Don't miss Chris' cow-culated zingers, a live show from the grand opening of Walmart's new 2.2-million square foot fulfillment center and more when you tune in this week! While Bo's away, Kirby and Chris will play! That's right, Bo headed off an on-the-road adventure, leaving Chris and Kirby to keep the energy pumping at the Walmart and Sam's Club Radio studio. Chris kicked things off with a 90s edition of What Year Was it, and Risa from Store 2733 in Perry, Georgia, nailed it. Over on Kirby Gwen & Friends, Kirby helped Pam and Belle from Store 2616 in O'Fallon, Missouri, give store manager Grant a pre-wedding shout out. She also had the surprise of the week when Andre the Dancing Cart Pusher, a Chris Show regular, called into her show for the very first time! What else? Chris celebrated some big associate work anniversaries, Kirby took on AI in the Group Chat and so much more. As Chris loves to say, it was a good day for a great day. Tune in! Birthdays, graduations and anniversaries, oh my! Listeners from Florida to Hawaii lit up the studio lines with their shoutouts, and Bo, Chris and Kirby were ready to celebrate all their milestone moments. Bo got the party started with a call from Loretta from Store 557 in Emporia, Kansas. Her coworker, Mary B., has been “turning and burning” with Walmart for more than 40 years! Kirby kept the party going with some pro tips on making a splash at your next graduation get-together (hint: water balloons). She also welcomed Charlyn from Neighborhood Market 6588 in Slidell, Louisiana, into the K.G. Birthday Club. And it was a Milestone Minute for the Michaels on the Chris Show, when Michael from Store 1820 in Kittaning, Pennsylvania, Michael from the Home office in Bentonville, Arkansas, and Michael from Distribution 6082 in Clarksville, Arkansas, simultaneously celebrated their 30-year workaversaries! The phone lines lit up the Walmart World Radio studio last week with associates, customers and even vendors dialing in with shoutouts, birthday wishes and milestone moments. Linda from Store 1456 in Evanston, Wyoming, shared a jellybean moment with Kirby, while Jackie explained why Store 1347 in San Antonio, Texas, is the “one and not the two.” Later, on the Chris Show, Nicole from Store 1012 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, showered some praise on the 4 a.m. crew. But the biggest shoutouts went to private fleet drivers Joe Shirley from Plainview, Texas, and Dale Lowry in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Joe and Dale have been driving for Walmart since 1991 and 1987 respectively, and both recently reached 4 million accident-free miles! Bo wrapped things up with Brenda from Store 767 in sunny Lake City, Florida, who recently celebrated 30 years with Walmart. From Brenda's great advice to some of Detective Product's bounciest clues to date, this week's episode will put a spring in your step! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
“Happy birthday to myself!” So said Jeff from Store 483 in Prattville, Alabama, when he phoned in to the Chris Show with a laundry list of associate shoutouts, including one for his own big 6-2! Jeff wasn't the only one feeling festive. Coach Antonio from Store 3435 in Greenwood, Indiana, brought the hype to his fellow associates, and not even an April snowstorm could curb the enthusiasm of Blance from Store 1617 in Casper, Wyoming, who gave a hearty shoutout to her overnight team for their enthusiastic support despite the wintry temps. Meanwhile, Kirby had some extra spring in her step, perhaps because she was broadcasting live from Club 8241 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where Club Manager Ramon was hosting an epic party for Sam's Club 40th anniversary! As for Bo, he kept the encouragement going with a big congratulations to People Lead Kathryn Carpitcher from Store 103 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Kathryn was recently named a Thrive Challenge Grand Champion, and her story is an inspiration. Put yourself in a party mood with one of our most upbeat episodes to date! From houseplants to forest bathing, Bo, Kirby and Chris ease into 2023 with a peek inside the wellness world. Bo shouted out some incredible associates in Milestone Minute. Kirby reminds us that we don't have to go full Snow White to reap the benefits of taking a walk in the woods (or a stroll around the block). Antonio from Walmart World and Andre the Dancing Cart Pusher bring big energy to The Chris Show, as do Chris' clues for a classic 1980s throwback. Press play for these highlights – and more New Year's inspiration – from the Walmart World Radio team!

You're probably going to feel like “the king of the world” when you figure out the answer to What Year Was It. In this year, Rose vowed to “never let go” while Will Smith was "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It.” This year the Chicago Bulls also won the NBA finals, the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl and the Marlins won the World Series. It was a homerun for Kelly from Store 1639 in Rochester, Indiana, when she guessed the correct answer and gave a shoutout to the digital team. Chris from Store 2538 in Eugene, Oregon, called and gave a shoutout to the entire overnight crew, his team leads, and coach for doing a great job. Chris and Iyube chatted about the phenomenal sport of Pickleball during the segment, Wrong Answers Only. We relished the moment with all the creative submissions. During Master Dad Joke Theater, Iyube was able to crack Chris, but only when it came to a joke about another breakfast favorite—pancakes. Chris's jokes were just too flat this week. Sweet dreams were made of cheese when we had two callers from Wisconsin. Props from Store 1138 in Madison, Wisconsin, and EK from Walmart 1551 in Franklin, Wisconsin, both called in and gave shoutouts to their coworkers. Be sure to tune into The Chris Show, it's Gouda make you laugh.
It felt like a “Daydream” in What Year Was It as Michael Jordan made his first return to the NBA, and we all became friends with an animated cowboy and space ranger. We also had a friend in Jerome from Store 1401 in Naperville, Illinois, when he called and gave a shoutout to the overnight team for working hard. It was a slam dunk when Gayle called from Store 4439 in Paw Paw, Michigan, and gave a shoutout to her entire store and to every position at Walmart. The show bounced over to Vivian at Store 631 in Easley, South Carolina, as she gave a shoutout to all the associates in her store, especially the pharmacy associates. The ball was in their court as we recognized Pharmacy Appreciation Week this week. All our swishes came true celebrating Sylvia from Store 4194 in Victoria, Texas; John from Club 8219 in Matthews, North Carolina, and Pamela from Club 8278 in Greenville, South Carolina, in Milestone Minute. Congratulations on your 35 years with the company! From shoutouts to dad jokes, make it a fast break to The Chris Show!
In the light of the moon, we kicked off another week of The Chris Show! From apples to plums, chocolate cake to Swiss cheese and even a lollipop, in What Year Was It we celebrated a notable book featuring a tiny—who became a not so tiny —caterpillar. Speaking of cake, Tiffany from Store 1363 in Madison, Georgia, fluttered to the phone lines and gave a shoutout to cake decorators Pete and Tracy in celebration of National Cake Decorating Day! Making things a little bit more fun-fetti, Corinne from Store 2328 in Orange, Massachusetts, gave a shoutout to the whole team. And vendor Norm from Store 2131 in Topeka, Kansas, gave a shoutout to Dave for doing a great job. We added some icing to the cake with these fantastic associates highlighted in Milestone Minute. Congratulations to Donna at Store 649 in Titusville, Florida, who celebrated 35 years with the company. Marilyn from Store 1442 in Page, Arizona, celebrated 30 years, and we also recognized Peggy from Store 177 in Paris, Tennessee, who celebrated 25. Tune in now to see if your guess for What Year Was It was a piece of cake—or maybe it was more like two pears, five oranges and a slice of watermelon.
In “What Year Was It,” Hula hoops became a national craze, and we never would know what it was like to be a “Material Girl” just living in a material world — if it weren't for the birth of this singer. Luther from Store 432 in Talladega, Alabama, raced to the phone lines and was the first to guess the correct year. Rose from Store 5154 in Rosemead, California, gave several shoutouts to her team members who all shared birthdays during the same week! She also gave a special shoutout to her managers Sonya and Jenny. From birthdays to anniversaries, we celebrated some great associates in Milestone Minute. Congratulations to Lori from Store 867 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on 25 years. We also celebrated the accomplishments of Derek from Store 1942 in Holland, Michigan, and Anna from Store 4942 in Elgin, Illinois, who both celebrated 25 years as well. From the stocking team to the digital team to the overnight team — Adam from Store 906 in Gallup, New Mexico, gave shoutouts to the whole store! Just as Adam is grateful for his team, we are grateful for our listeners. Tune in now to hear more great shoutouts and highlights from the week!
In "What Year Was It," we all strived to live strong, thought we were seeing double and wanted Tom Cruise to “show us the money” because, no doubt, it was 1996! Cathy from Store 617 in Sullivan, Indiana, won by a lamb slide as she was the first to get the right answer. Not a clone named Dolly but a brother named Justin, Josh from Store 2422 in Saint Helens, Oregon, called and gave a shoutout for Justin's birthday. Fun fact, they also work the same shift at the same store! Store 709 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, had a grand re-opening this week, and Rebekah called to give an exciting shoutout to all the management and team members. Since this week is all about the duos, Chris and Producer Iyube visited Store 48 in Monett, Missouri, to kick off another grand re-opening celebration. From wacky news to cool activities, it was a week to remember. Don't hesitate to join the fun and tune in now to hear the best of The Chris Show!
We're celebrating the '80s, and spoiler alert, it's both the decade recognized in “What Year Was It” and also the combination of three milestones celebrated in Milestone Minute. For a total of 80 amazing years with Walmart, we're celebrating Todd at the Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, for 35 years, Dawn from Store 1276 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on 25 years, and rounding out the trio with 20 years is Fidela from Store 5843 in Patterson, California. Omar from Store 4601 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, gave a shoutout to Thomas and his other coworker who is also named Omar. While making donuts, “Bakery” John from Store 3111 in Springfield, Missouri, called and gave a special shoutout to “Frozen” John who works in Frozen & Dairy, making us all feel like we're having a serious case of deja moo. Tune in now and enjoy some throwback tracks and more great shoutouts!
Like 2014, The Chris Show was filled with so many good moments and milestones. It's also a number you may wanna keep in mind if you hope to be victorious in a particular segment! Alicia, from Store 1469 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, certainly saw success – and gave props to her entire store! Andre phoned in from Store 5382 in Pasadena, Maryland, to share some exciting facts about his city and left shoutouts for several members of his team. As for those meaningful milestones, congratulations to Kimberly from Store 2541 in Alliance, Ohio, for 25 years, Lakisha from Store 91 in Forrest City, Arkansas, for 25 years and Christopher from Store 1705 in Waterloo, New York, for 20 years. The fun doesn't stop there, so make sure to check out all the highlights for more hilarity and celebration. Hit play!
As always, this week's show brought the energy with games, shoutouts and laughter. Candace from Store 653 in Douglas, Georgia, was the first to correctly guess the answer during What Year Was It? She also gave props to DC associates who helped out at the store! Abby, from Store 1570 in Auburn, Indiana, gave plenty of nice shoutouts to her store's maintenance team, the associates up front and management! Bo joined Chris for Master Dad Joke Theater and got straight into it with a joke about grapes. Hopefully it wasn't too seedy. We hear a bunch of people laughed. Check out the show highlights to hear his punchline – and more – this week on The Chris Show!
It was another week of laughs on The Chris Show. In What Year Was It, Charles from Store 1486 in Farmville, Virginia, guessed correctly and left a sweet shoutout to the AP team and his entire crew. Hailing from Store 4288 in Broomfield, Colorado, was Andrew, and he chimed in with praise for Eric and Mitch who were on the last break of the day. Lisa from Store 1906 in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, called out her store that opened 30 years ago! More of Chris, shoutouts and fun are waiting, so hit play to join in!
It might be August, but did someone say jingle bells? Eager to display her cheery spirit, Jamie from Store 153 in New Albany, Mississippi, requested some holiday music to match her festive outfits. (She could be onto something here.) Roxana from Store 2215 in Darien, Illinois, gave Chris an unexpected recommendation in the segment “On the Road Again.” Everyone was surprised to hear her shout out a national pizza chain – it's not even deep dish. Hit play to hear the reindeer games our very own DJ Chris got up to this week.
Fresh off a fantastic week at Walmart's Holiday Meeting, the team was excited to play What Year Was It? From the iconic film Grease and Van Halen's debut to Ben & Jerry's first ice cream shop, 1978 was truly a memorable year. Even more memorable was Clinton from Store 592 in Derby, Kansas, guessing the answer correctly while giving a shoutout to his whole store! Speaking of years, Jasmine from Store 199 in Lincoln, Illinois, called in to celebrate her nine-year wedding anniversary with her husband and fellow associate Jeff. Congrats to the happy couple! It was a week to remember on The Chris Show, so hit play to hear the highlights.
It was another stellar week on The Chris Show. This week, Chris introduced a brand-new segment called On the Road Again. Cortez at Store 83 in Magnolia, Arkansas, recommended Chris check out Chick-A-Dilly for their spicy chicken (yum!) and left a birthday shoutout to his store lead. Trevor from Store 1735 in Wheeling, Illinois, called to give props to his store. The associates there have been steamrolling inventory – great job, team! And on Wrong Answers Only, the team tested out some, er, creative synonyms for “beard.” Hit play to hear the highlights!
Dom has no energy so Chris answers the call.
This week, we kicked off The Chris Show in the best way possible: with shoutouts, celebrations, interesting facts and, of course, dad jokes. Chris debuted lots of new games, including “What Year Is This?”, where callers guessed what year Chris was thinking of based on clues (spoiler alert: Dennis from Store 144 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, won the game with his superhero memory); and “Showdown,” where two iconic Doritos chips, Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheese, faced off to see which is the more popular snack (hint: it was nacho day, Cool Ranch). Despite his new-guy status, Chris found a fast friend in Theresa from Store 932 in Griffin, Georgia, who thanked him for “rocking it.” Tune in for more highlights from The Chris Show, and catch the show live Monday through Friday from 6-8 a.m. CT.
