In this episode we interview Tony Francavilla, Chief Development Officer at DC Scores. DC Scores creates neighborhood teams that give kids the confidence and skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life. We envision a DC where every child – no matter their family income – experiences the joys of childhood: sports, arts, service, and being part of a team. Where every child – no matter their family circumstances – is empowered to find academic success and grow into an emotionally and physically healthy teen and adult. Where every neighborhood supports and celebrates its children and their accomplishments on and off the playing field. Want to learn more, donate, or get engaged? We have a special guest on the show to join us to see off the season, our Captain, Peabo Doue, and we have a bunch of End-Of-Season Awards to dish out. As with our previous interview, the Loudoun Stampede has agreed to donate $1 for every listen to this episode to the charitable organization of Peabo's choice, and he went with DC Scores! Thanks to everyone for all of the support and listens this season.
