The Strategic Shift That Helped Me Confidently Sell $3.5K Coaching Packages Without Feeling Icky

You're ready to make real money in your business — but without an offer that feels solid, it still feels like an expensive hobby. You're overthinking your offers. Going back and forth about what your “thing” should be — only to end up not putting anything out there consistently. Deep down, you're wondering: How do I actually create something that's valuable? Something people would happily pay for — and I'd feel good delivering? In this episode, I share the one strategic shift I made that helped me stop second-guessing, start creating real results, and confidently sell $3.5K coaching packages without feeling icky. You'll learn:* Why you can't just rely on mindset work to build true confidence* The exact steps I took to build a clear, aligned offer that I could confidently sell. * How to create an offer that's rooted in real value — not fluff or guessworkIf you're ready to stop overthinking and finally create an offer that feels grounded, transformational, and ready to sell — hit play on this episode now.I was scared to sell $3-$5k coaching packagesThere was a time in my business when I felt uneasy on every sales call.Even when someone said yes, my chest would tighten.Shoot. Now I have to deliver. What if I can't get them results? What if they regret working with me? Or even worse…. what if they think it's a waste of money.Sometimes the fear was so strong that I would talk people out of buying. If they had any hesitation, I'd tell them, “Yeah, maybe it's not the right time.”And while I deeply wanted to sell packages for $3-$5k and run a thriving business…I couldn't back my own work.It wasn't because I had unhappy clients—no one ever told me my coaching sucked. But the results my clients experienced weren't consistent. Some clients had massive breakthroughs and tangible shifts.Quitting their job. Starting a business. Landing a dream job.Others just “felt better” at the end.I never knew which way it would go and that uncertainty gnawed at me.It made me second-guess my offers, my content, my sales calls.I didn't feel like I could confidently say, “This is what I do and here's the transformation you'll get.”For a long time, I tried to mindset my way through it.I repeated affirmations.I hyped myself up.I worked on worthiness. But deep down, I knew the truth:I didn't fully believe in the value of my work because it wasn't consistently valuable yet.Creating my six-figure curriculumEverything changed when I made one shift:I created a signature transformational curriculum.Instead of relying on one-off sessions or hoping each client would “get something out of it,” I built a repeatable process—what eventually became my first program, the Career Fulfillment Formula. This was the turning point in my business.Having one clear, transformational process gave me:* A framework I trusted* Consistent, repeatable results for my clients* Confidence to sell high-ticket offers without feeling like a fraudIt became the foundation for my six-figure business.Step One: Commit to One ResultThe first thing I did was commit to one specific result.I distilled my coaching down into a “caveman phrase” of just a few words:Find work you love. Before this, my message was vague: “Follow your dreams,” “Live your best life,” “Unlock your potential.”But how do you create or measure results around things like that. When I got clear on helping people specifically find work they love—their path to fulfillment—everything started to come together.I wasn't just “a life coach.”I was someone who could help people clarify their career direction and find purpose through identifying the work they loved. Step Two: Create the CurriculumWith my one result in mind, I outlined a step-by-step process to help people get there. This wasn't about locking myself in a room and perfecting it for months before showing it to another living soul.I created it through:* Real conversations and market research* My lived experience of finding work I loved* My own zone of genius (mindset, inner work, purpose—not résumés or job applications)The first version of the Career Fulfillment Formula was just an outline.I knew where my ideal clients were starting, and I knew where they wanted to go.So I mapped out how to get them there.Step Three: Test It in Real TimeThe truth is, I couldn't sell the program at first. I tried launching it, and no one bought. But instead of scrapping it entirely, I found the perfect pro bono client—a friend who was exactly my ideal client. We agreed: she'd show up fully for the entire program and in return I'd get her feedback and testimonial.Every week, I created a short video, gave her worksheets, coached her through the material, and refined as we went.By week two or three of putting my pro bono client through the process, new paying clients started signing up.Suddenly I had people going through the program in real time, giving me feedback, and getting results. And this is where everything shifted. The breakthroughs became consistent. The testimonials started flooding in.I could see with my own eyes: this process works.Confidence Through EvidenceOnce I had a process that consistently worked, I no longer needed to hype myself up before sales calls.I didn't have to do affirmations or mantras to “believe in the value of my work”I had evidence.Clients were moving from point A to point B.Their lives were changing. And I could confidently say, “This is the result I help you create.”That evidence built unshakable confidence—something mindset work alone could never give me.What This Means for YouIf you're struggling to sign clients consistently, or if you secretly doubt the value of your work, it might not be a mindset issue. It might be that you don't yet have a signature process.A transformational curriculum that:* Delivers repeatable results* Aligns with your genius and lived experience* Gives you confidence because you know it worksYou don't build confidence by reciting mantras. You build it by creating a transformational process that works. By putting people through your process, and seeing the results over and over again. That's how you create an offer you can stand behind. That's how you build a business on solid ground. And that's how you finally start “believing in the value of your work.”If you're struggling to believe in the value of your work, here's the truth:It's so much easier to back your offers when they're built from your genius. When you understand your unique strengths—and how they translate into real results for your clients—you stop second-guessing yourself. You stop spinning on “What should I sell?” and start creating offers that actually feel like you. That's exactly what my toolkit, Map Your Genius, is designed to help you do.Inside, you'll learn how to:* Identify the strengths you've been overlooking* Pinpoint your unique “genius” (the intersection of your gifts + the value they bring to others)* Turn your genius into aligned offers that deliver real transformationYou'll walk away with a clear map of how to use your genius to help clients get results—and clarity on the offer that's best for you right now.

We're talking about the two ingredients that shift sales from slimy to solid: compassion and power. If you're struggling with sales, it's not your fault. Most coaches weren't trained in sales—they were trained to serve If your stomach flips at the idea of follow-ups, or if you've ever charged less “just to help,” this episode is for you. I'll help you reframe your mindset around pricing, service, and the real reason people commit to coaching (hint: it's not the discount). Story of the Week (DR):The Cracker Barrel BSCracker Barrel scraps new logo design, keeps 'Old Timer' after listening to customersRestaurant chain's stock price sank following removal of 'Uncle Herschel' from brandingUncle Herschel wasn't just a marketing creation, he was a real person. Born Herschel McCartney, he was the younger brother of Cracker Barrel founder Dan Evins' mother and served as an early goodwill ambassador for the brand. A salesman for Martha White Flour Company for over three decades, Herschel traveled through rural America, building relationships in small-town general stores — the very kinds of places that inspired Cracker Barrel's original design and ethos. When Cracker Barrel introduced its iconic logo in 1969, the old-timer sitting beside the barrel was long thought by fans to be based on Herschel himself, though the company later clarified that this wasn't the case.In 2004, the Justice Department (during the George W. Bush administration) sued the chain for discriminating against Black customers. In 2006, they settled a lawsuit involving three of their Illinois restaurants for “discriminatory practices, racially charged language, and inappropriate touching.”Cracker Barrel's inconvenient fact: all the customers who loved its old logo had stopped going to the restaurantFounder Dan EvinsHis tone was considerably harsher when it came to defending a January 1991 directive to all the company's restaurants to fire employees “whose sexual preferences fail to demonstrate normal heterosexual values.” Mr. Evins's explanation for the edict was that gay people made customers in rural areas uncomfortable. As many as 16 openly or suspected gay employees were promptly fired.“They actually put a policy like this in writing, which was, and still is, shocking,” David Smith, a spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign. The New York City Employees Retirement System, which owned more than $6 million of Cracker Barrel shares, led other stock owners in using their votes and other legal means to organize resistance. In March 1991, Mr. Evins apologized and said the policy had been rescinded. But New York and its allies fought until 58 percent of the shareholders in 2002 persuaded Cracker Barrel's board to vote unanimously to explicitly forbid antigay discrimination in its equal employment policy. In July 2001, shareholders replaced Evins as CEO with Michael A. Woodhouse, who at the time was serving as the company's chief operating officer. Evins maintained his position as chairman of the board.Prior to founding the company, Dan worked for Consolidated Oil, a company founded by his grandfather.Cracker Barrel took down Pride page after rebrand fiascoCompany faced criticism over modernist redesign and support for LGBT causes before stock reboundThe website link for Cracker Barrel's Pride page, which used to boast that the company was "bringing the porch to Pride," now redirects to its "Culture and Belonging" page.Cracker Barrel previously sponsored the Nashville Pride Parade in 2024 and unveiled a line of rainbow-colored rocking chairs for Pride month. The company also has an LGBTQ employee resource group called the "LGBTQ+ Alliance," along with groups for veterans and other communities.Despite claims it's 'too woke,' Cracker Barrel actually has a fraught LGBTQ+ historyCracker Barrel received a score of zero on the inaugural index in 2002. The chain was criticized in the 1990s for discrimination against gay employees. In 1991, the company adopted a corporate policy stating that any worker who failed to demonstrate "normal heterosexual values" would be fired. Eleven employees were terminated under the rule, leading to boycotts and protests nationwide. Over time, Cracker Barrel's HRC score improved, reaching 80 in 2021 after the company took several public pro-LGBTQ stances.58 percent of the shareholders in 2002 persuaded Cracker Barrel's board to vote unanimously to explicitly forbid antigay discrimination in its equal employment policy.Proud Representation: Business Resource Groups: These voluntary, employee-led organizations are open to all employees and provide opportunities to network, develop leadership skills, and serve as cross-functional resources for our teams.AMPT (Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow) aims to connect and empower modern professionals by promoting a community of inclusive, ambitious, and diverse members that unify through the Cracker Barrel to equip our community and leaders for the future. One listener asks whether making out too early sends the wrong signal, sparking a deep dive into intentional dating and the 12-date rule. Then, it's an “Icky or Picky” scenario straight from Snapchat hell: a guy reconnects after years apart only to flood her phone with baby selfies and MILF jokes. Ick or endearing? Toxic thoughts are bad because- neuroscience actually proves that negative events actually imprint on our brains more quickly and linger longer then positive events-Example- what spreads faster on social media? Negative or positive events? What about in the news? The mind governed by the flesh is death but the mind governed by the spirit is life and peace.Romans 12:2"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will." (NIV) Philippians 4:8"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." (ESV)1. Pay attention- what does your thought process look like? Do you find yourself spiraling quickly? Or are you able to catch yourself in the midst of a toxic thought and slow down the spiraling process? 2. Practice gratitude3. Focus on the present- not the past or what is to come- enjoy the moments right in front of you. Worry and anxiety come when we are worreid about tomorrow or stuck in the past4. Actively replace the negative with the positive- this is NOT manifestation- although I believe that was first biblical but the world has twisted it all up. When we are using manifestation to take credit for the things that are happening around us then we are using it the worlds way. We have choices about how we think and act on those thoughts, and maybe we will find success by speaking life over ourselves through manifestation….like I said it's a biblical principle cause God created us and our minds very uniquely,  but ultimately our strongest move will be to partner with God and HIS word instead of trying to do it on our own. What are you going to decide to do with those negative thoughts today? Are you going to partner with them and let them take root in your heart? Are you going to except them as truth or make a decision to get rid of those thoughts and partner with better ideas about yourself- threw God's word and what He says?Be encouraged, challenged and blessed today!!Join the ROOTED Bible Study group here> https://stan.store/mrsangelapitnikoff/p/rootedGrab your downloadable scripture cards here>> https://stan.store/mrsangelapitnikoff/p/30-scripture-cards✨Come hang with me on IG- https://www.instagram.com/mrsangelapitnikoff/✨Join our FB sisterhood!- https://www.facebook.com/groups/kingdomdaughterssisterhood✨Want some fun free resources?
