The Vikings traded Yannick Ngakoue to the Ravens just two months after trading for him, Danielle Hunter is on ice for the season, and George Iloka even tore his ACL. So we'll pick up the pieces of that decision, what it means for the organization and the other edge rushers on the team. The Minnesota Vikings have flipped defensive end Yannick Ngakoue to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2021 3rd rounder and conditional 2022 5th round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Vikings had acquired Yannick The Freak in a trade right before the season from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Minnesota Vikings superstar edge rusher Danielle Hunter has opted to have season ending surgery on the herniated disk in his neck. It's the smart decision and gives Hunter as much recovery time as possible for the 2021 offseason. In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and John Owning dive into the Cowboys’ offseason by discussing the recent week of OTAs while playing a new game. "The “Best Coast Boys” podcast is a Cowboys-centric podcast that will delve into many other topics. Whether it is the NFL, Cowboys, movies, music, comics, food or Mixed Martial Arts, nothing is off limits on the “Best Coast Boys” podcast. After the pleasantries, the guys dive into the latest news and notes from the Cowboys offseason. After that, John details why he wouldn’t be surprised if Tavon Austin is cut. Landon then makes the bold prediction that Kerry Hyder will be the Week 1 starter at left defensive end because DeMarcus Lawrence isn’t ready for full time play yet Then John details why he hopes that Randy Gregory will be reinstated by the NFL. John details what Gregory’s return could mean for the Cowboys while Landon agrees. Landon then discusses why he hopes that Kellen Moore will change the way the offense is called. He believes the Cowboys already have the right plays in the playbook, they just need to be dressed up differently and used in the proper situations. After that, John discusses why he dreads Jeff Heath as the starting strong safety. John laments on Heath’s tackling ability and why he’d prefer George Iloka as the starter. Landon then said that he dreaded the Cowboys having a slow start to the season. To finish the show, John discusses why he doesn’t think Jason Witten will play all 16 and Landon notes why he’d be shocked if Jason Garrett would be fired during the season. The “Best Coast Boys” podcast will be back next week to review the Cowboys’ haul from the 2019 NFL Draft. You won’t want to miss it!"

Di and Ted return with another episode of RTP, and they celebrate their 50th episode by doing...absolutely nothing different! It's Vikings talk and listener questions. In this episode: They recap the Vikings-Jaguars game, and whether or not fans should be worried about the sputtering first team offense. Could there be a surprise running back cut since both Roc Thomas and Mike Boone are playing well? On defense, they talk about whether or not Danielle Hunter is going to breakout and lead the team in sacks, and a discussion about the new 'Aaron Rodgers Rule'. From there, it's the George Iloka signing and how it may or may not affect the future of Jayron Kearse and/or Andrew Sendejo. The Vikings kicker competition was settled, and they discuss that, too. Finally they wrap the show up with listener questions.

There really isn't one word to describe this edition of the podcast. PodVader is joined by Neil (Redskins), James (Eagles), Kevin (Cowboys) and Andy (Dolphins) to react to all the latest NFL news. But first...When looking for a holiday gift or just something to say you're sorry, try harrys.com/nextfanupSuspensions were upheld for Rob Gronkowski and JuJu Smith-Schuster, but George Iloka's was overturned. Oh and they plan on keeping Hue Jackson as head coach. PodVader probably wouldn't do that if he gets the GM job (this just in - he won't). Around the 38min mark, we feature our two SuperFan Battles this week:Raiders/Chiefs (with an extended look at the AFC Mess(West) | Eagles/Rams (Game of the Week)Around the 1 hour 18minute mark, we begin the Pigskin Pickem. The first wave of free agency has come and gone. The Minnesota Vikings didn't land the White Whales the fanbase wanted (Kelechi Osemele or George Iloka), but I think we're fine settling for the White Rhino in Alex Boone. We dive into him as well as the other depth free agent signing the Purple made. I also take a look at other potential Vikings still on the market and what the plan should be with our own unrestricted free agents.
