Also taking aim at society and its growing judgemental nature, Perspectives portrays a more introspective and dark side to the band's musical personality and direction.With plans to unleash more sonic fury in the coming months, Weightless guitarists Riley and Brenton sat down with HEAVY to spread the word."To be honest this is probably our best performing track so far," Brenton offered. "We pretty early on got the All New Metal Playlist from Spotify, so that was a big push for us as well with Homegrown Heavy and that sort of stuff. Not to be super metric, but the numbers are performing a lot better than we expected and compared to the others it's doing a lot better a lot faster."Given the step-up in intensity on Perspectives, we ask the boys to talk through the musical side of the song in greater detail."Perspectives is probably one of the heavier tracks we've ever written," Brenton continued. "Both lyrically and musically. As a band we have a lot of interest in electronic music with Pendulum and stuff like that, that we really wanted to implement into our music with the heavier side. So we did a lot of delving deep into the synths and things of that nature on this song. Lyrically we dived pretty deep into the topic of bipolar disorder and as a subject matter it is dark and heavy, so we figured it matched sonically to the song as much as possible and that was the best route to explore. Mi'kmaw people in an area of Bay St. George are being invited to join an Indigenous band there. The Port au Port Mi'kmaw band recently held a meeting, and it's now holding a membership drive. The band serves the area from Kippens to Campbell's Creek. It hasn't held many community activities in recent years. but that may change soon. Mary O'Quinn is with the Port au Port Mi'kmaw band.

Insulin, glucagon, thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, leptin, ghrelin, cholecystokinin, human growth hormone, and cortisol are going to be the top players in weight gain that is increasingly aggravating as we get hit different stages of life.

We are about three weeks away from baby time, and we have been working hard to get things ready. Some things aren't as fun to get ready like all the laundry, cleaning, etc. But getting her room ready? That has been a joy. We've been working hard to get a place ready for her, and even though she won't understand what's waiting for her or appreciate what we've done, we do it because we love her and this will be her home. Well...isn't that the journey ahead for all of us Christians? Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us. We cannot begin to imagine what heaven will be like, or appreciate all that Jesus is currently doing. But what I can know is that Jesus can't wait to bring us home, and I don't know about you, but I can't wait to get home either.
