Ezekiel 16:4-63 - Speaker: Alex Morrison - Our sexuality has a purpose beyond reproduction and pleasure. God designed sexuality to help us know him more deeply. Who Are You in this Parable? Or Better Yet, Who Does God Think You Are? (Luke 18:9–14) - Dr. Bill Cook
- Speaker: Alex Morrison - Sexuality is a loaded term in our culture and we want to have a biblical perspective of what it means. God created humanity and therefore he created sexuality. This session is a discussion on God's thoughts on sexuality and builds a foundation for understanding God's thoughts about sex.
Joel Radford – What does God think of abuse? – 2 Samuel 3:12-16 12 Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to say to David, “Whose land is it? Make an agreement with me, and I will help you bring all Israel over to you.” 13 “Good,” said David. “I will make an agreement […]
The past month has seen horrific attacks on the nation of Israel. Israel has responded with resolve in the Gaza Strip. Many are wondering what the outcome will be. The Bible provides answers to what has been happening and what will shortly come to pass in the whole region, specifically the land of Israel. This week's Bible in the News is a special lecture John Billington gave on Thursday, November 2nd, to discuss these events in light of Bible prophecy.

Because society in general has watered down a sinful lifestyle, even celebrating some kinds of sin, we tend to think that God doesn't deal harshly with sin. This is not the case. God hates all sin, and even hates what the sinner has become. Yes, you read that correctly. God hates who the sinner has become. God loves every person, and proved it by dying on the cross for all but remember that God is also holy. Unlike the world, God has no tolerance for sin. What is man that You are mindful of him? Does God think about ME? This is one of the greatest questions in all of the Bible. People have been asking it for thousands of years. David asked it. Job asked it. Solomon asked it. Everybody should ask it because of HIS ANSWER. His answer is YES.No president of the United States has ever had a single thought of ME cross their mind. Never. Yet today I find that God Himself actually thinks about me; that He sets His heart on me; that He is MINDFUL of me; and maybe sometimes He even takes DELIGHT in me.Spend 7 minutes, and then the rest of your natural born days asking this great question. Be gobsmacked by the answer: God thinks about ME. bewithme.us and bewithme.us@gmail.com to subscribe.

It's clear that the next frontier of the pro-choice movement's abortion fight is the church. In this new CareCast episode, Roland Warren, Care Net's President and CEO, and Vincent DiCaro, Care Net's Chief Outreach Officer, discuss the latest in what they call the double-mindedness of the pro-choice movement in our country right now. There's even a website that exposes this double-mindedness. It's called “AbortionsWelcome.org” and for people struggling with the spiritual component of having an abortion, Planned Parenthood links to this site as a resource. Listen in as Roland and Vince address this next frontier of the pro-choice movement's abortion fight within the church and its pro-choice faith leaders. What Does God Think About Climate Change? by Reading Family Church
“On their arrival in Capernaum, the collectors of the Temple tax came to Peter and asked him, “Doesn't your teacher pay the Temple tax?” “Yes, he does,” Peter replied. Then he went into the house. But before he had a chance to speak, Jesus asked him, “What do you think, Peter? Do kings tax their own people or the people they have conquered?” “They tax the people they have conquered,” Peter replied. “Well, then,” Jesus said, “the citizens are free! However, we don't want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us.” - Matthew 17:24-27 NLT

What does God think about dating? What popular culture deems acceptable or forbidden in terms of dating seems to change all the time. The answers are rarely simple. But here's what is clear—when you choose to follow God, you give Him access to guide and direct ALL of your life. That includes choices about relationships. If you read the Bible, you'll get a picture of how God wants us to treat one another—with love and profound respect. Philippians 4:6 offers the best advice. It says, Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he's done. Then you'll experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. God has the answers you need. Don't be shy—bring all your relationship questions directly to Him, and trust that God knows what is best for you. radio.hopewithgod.com

In today's episode of Coffee and Prayer our devotions are found in Acts chapter 14 and Deuteronomy chapter 15. Today we talk about the contextual and the historical value of slavery in the Bible. Many criticisms of scripture are usually found when taken out of context and the absent of cultural value. Here we discuss and describe some of those issues and create a conversation that answers questions and provokes thought. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/coffeeandprayer/support
