Michael Lofton reviews the debate between Rabbi Shmuley and Candace Owens on the war in Israel.

In politics, the best policy is usually to keep your enemies close - you often need your opponents in order to get things done afterall. But as the grifter class on the right sinks lower and lower, there's also a need to police your movement and ensure those representing it aren't doing more harm than good. Such is the case with Candace Owens, whose recent fall from grace has included some very inflammatory remarks about the holocaust. This week, Hannah digs into her history of flirting with anti-semites, and discusses the true impacts of her work. Plus, Hannah gives a full breakdown on one of the most important policitical decisions of the past decade: the overturn of Chevron deference. As fake news flies about this SCOTUS deicision and its results, Hannah explains how this is actually a tremendous win for the American people.

Steve Schmidt visits Treblinka, a Polish extermination camp where 900,000 people were killed in the Holocaust. From the site of the atrocities, Steve speaks directly to Mark Robinson, the lieutenant governor of North Carolina. The Republican candidate for governor is a Holocaust denier who has called it "hogwash." Steve says that he is unfit for office and anyone who votes for him is an accessory to denying the memory of those killed. *** To become a The Warning Premium Member and listen to the show 48 hours early with access to premium content visit: https://thewarning.supercast.com/ Subscribe for more and follow me here: Substack: https://steveschmidt.substack.com/subscribe Twitter: https://twitter.com/SteveSchmidtSES Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SteveSchmidtSES/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thewarningses Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewarningses/
Episode 17 tells the tale of when the United Kingdom's most notorious Holocaust denier brought his book tour to Winnipeg in 1986. David Irving, an unhinged military historian, finally died this week but many of the same lies he spread in his books and speeches have been heard from Hamas supporters since October 7. You'll hear audio of the vile revisionist history David Irving told a Winnipeg audience about Hitler's genocide of Europe's Jews, from TV news reports that Marty has preserved for decades. To send in story tips, sponsor podcasts, or donate towards our expenses by Interac: Email - martygoldlive@gmail.com 7:42 Part 2 - The history of David Irving and his path to Winnipeg is recounted: From his college days printing an article calling Hitler the "greatest unifying force Europe has known since Charlemagne", to claiming the Diary of Anne Frank was a forgery, to telling a famous British TV host there was no evidence Hitler knew of the systematic slaughter of Jews by his regime. David Irving became an ally of the National Front and of Canada's convicted and deported Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel. 20.15- Under the leadership of Yoram Hamizrachi, the Manitoba Intercultural Alliance forged a unique standing in the Charter of Rights era. Ethnic community trailblazers like Ken Babb and Strini Reddy were part of the group and Marty became secretary. After the Jewish council convinced a hotel to cancel Irving's speech, MIA learned another hotel in Fort Garry picked up the booking, and were determined to bear witness to the proceedings- regardless of the personal risk. 22.30- You'll hear the report of CBC's Brian Yasui in 1986, his description of the books, the audience, and his questions for David Irving. The audio includes a clip of the defence of Hitler which you will not believe. Marty tells of a close call that night when he was followed, and why his experiences in that era establish him as the top reporter exposing antisemitism in our city 28.00 - Brief audio of the CBC report the next day, with the voices of Jim Compton, Sandra Lewis- and a very young Marty. A few years later Irving told audiences "The gas chambers that are shown to the tourists in Auschwitz are fakes," that only 30,000 died there and the Jews "had it coming" and told followers "to treat these little legends with the ridicule and bad taste that they deserve." After work on the second Zündel trial, Irving declared he'd be a "one-man intifada" against the idea that there had been a Holocaust. Irving got what he deserved with a massive and financially ruinous court loss that was the subject of the motion picture Denial. Winnipeg needs to remember this dark chapter when Mayor Norrie and Premier Pawley were silent as a Hitler-loving "moderate fascist" spread antisemitic conspiracy theories in our community. 32:04 Part 3- The encounter with David Irving was a challenge for Marty Gold at age 26 to implement the lessons he learned from his family and at Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate. To this day, there are antisemitic elements in Winnipeg who emulate David Irving. While the local media and elected officials silent about those Jew-haters, ActionLine.ca and our podcast will continue to expose them. The Mayor of Paris has revoked a prestigious award given to PA head Mahmoud Abbas over comments he made last week in which he claimed that Jews were murdered in the Holocaust because of their role as money lenders. On today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten argues that Abbas, a well-known Holocaust denier and terrorist, should have never received the award in the first place. Josh adds that what is worse is that Israel allows this Jew-hater to remain in control of the PA in Judea and Samaria, as he denies the Nazi genocide against the Jews, while at the same time continues to pay terrorist's salaries for murdering Israelis. EPISODE 151: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:42): New Tucker Carlson bombshell in the Dominion Documents Dump. Media Matters discovers a text in which Carlson praised and disseminated the writings of a racist holocaust denier, only 2-1/2 years ago. He sent somebody close enough to Carlson to have his cell number a link to a column written by David Cole - who denies that Auschwitz was an extermination camp and questions whether six million Jewish people perished in the Holocaust. Carlson added "This is a good piece." That Carlson would praise such scum is hardly news: he works for Fox "News." But this shocker coming out at such a critical time for him and Fox is indeed news. Because it reopens the 2019 scandal that vanished into the pandemic year, in which radio recordings surfaced of Carlson being crassly racist and sexist, and insulting in those ways to the likes of everybody from Barack Obama to Martha Stewart's daughter. Carlson also defended convicted child rapist Warren Jeffs and attacked statutory rape laws. His other problems continue. A fourth night of "January 6 Video" produced only more re-runs. And he impeached his own Wednesday guest. The Q Shaman's first attorney Albert Watkins was, on Wednesday, a victim of the vast plot Carlson claimed to have uncovered. But last night Watkins became a villain who had let the "shaman" down. In point of fact, Watkins had been fired after he called his client "retarded" and one of the "short bus people" and Watkins was cited for "ineffective assistance of counsel." Every time Rupert Murdoch and Fox have squirmed out of a scandal they've done so by firing somebody big: Roger Ailes, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly. Rupert is in survival mode and the new revelations make it easier for him to scapegoat Carlson. B-Block (19:03) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Yeah yeah sure Trump's gonna be indicted any day now (says the Times. Again). Jenna Ellis, the Canary in the Rudy Giuliani gas coal mine, confesses. Lauren Boebert can't count nor tell time and shock of shocks, a new George Santos scandal. (22:25) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Trump has a new book that sums him up. It's stuff other people wrote TO him. Letters. Now I may have to publish the letter HE wrote to ME. Elon Musk's novel way to promote employees. And Lindsey Graham. No - not that one. A far funnier one. C-Block (28:00) FRIDAYS WITH THURBER: When he went to the 4th Grade at the turn of the 19th and 20th Centuries, the great writer lived in a world where if you failed the 4th Grade, you stayed in the 4th Grade. If his wonderful account is true, some of his classmates had been there for more than a decade, and constituted the best amateur baseball team in the state of Ohio, good enough to beat Ohio State. Nearly 40 years ago, Hart Snider was a camper at Camp BB Riback in Pine Lake, Alta., the summer after Jim Keegstra, an infamous teacher from the nearby town of Eckville, got fired for brainwashing his high school students against Jews. For years, Keegstra, who taught social sciences, told his teenagers that Jews were evil, Hitler was right and the Holocaust was fake. While he was later convicted of hate speech, that would be years later—in the interim, Alberta's local Jewish communities felt they had to try and help Keegstra's students deprogram their brains. And so, as unbelievable as it may sound, some of Keegsta's students were invited to the camp for a picnic—and a basketball game. Snider, who was nine years old at the time, made a film of his experience called The Basketball Game, which has now become a new graphic novel—just in time for Holocaust Education Month. On today's show, Snider joins to explain the book's message and how it can help today's young people deal with rising antisemitism and other forms of prejudice. What we talked about: Watch the short film on Hart Snider's website Read about Jim Keegstra's death in The CJN archives (2014) Listen to The CJN Daily episode with Dori Ekstein from May 2022 Credits The CJN Daily is written and hosted by Ellin Bessner (@ebessner on Twitter). Murray from Livermore keeps getting chances at redemption from Dan on Hitler's role in the Holocaust - and keeps blowing them.
Andy McCarthy, special contributor to Fox News joins Dan to discuss the latest development in the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, with a judge in South Florida appointing a special master at President Trump's request. Also, a Holocaust denier gets the boot from Dan after trying to equate the subject to rightful questioning of election irregularities in the United States.
Apologies for my weak voice today! Remnant of a second bout with Covid. Had to drink several cups of hot tea and honey, and take numerous breaks to at least sound somewhat understandable. Today, we look into how Germany dealt with the Holocaust once it was over. And how occupying powers, including the US and the Soviet Union, dealt with it as well. Who do you punish when millions have been complicit in some way(s) in committing one of the greatest atrocities in human history? We also look at holocaust denial. What evidence can deniers possibly point to to prove their claims that the holocaust either never happened, or didn't happen to the degree that mainstream (actual) historian's claim? Nick Fuentes isn't a Holocaust Denier but he is a political gadfly. On this show I tackle his comments on segregation, and his place in the culture and the Church. Song: Caracas Artist: Tintamare
Over the past several years, there has been a noticeable uptick in anti-Semitic rhetoric and incidents from college campuses in the United States to terrorist attacks against Jews throughout Europe and, in 2018 and 2019, the tragic hate crimes at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh and Poway Synagogue outside San Diego. Marin County has also not been immune, with anti-Semitic symbols found in county schools this past school year. A hatred long thought to be laid to rest, anti-Semitism from both sides of the political spectrum has again become a visible part of American society. No one knows this issue better than Deborah Lipstadt, a professor of modern Jewish history and Holocaust studies at Emory University. Actress Rachel Weisz portrayed Lipstadt in Denial, a film based on her book History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier. Lipstadt's new book, Antisemitism: Here and Now, has been hailed as one of the most important works on the issue. Where is this hatred coming from? Is there any significant difference between left-wing and right-wing anti-Semitism? What role has the anti-Zionist movement played? And what can be done to combat this latest manifestation of an ancient hatred? Please join us as Lipstadt makes a special visit to Marin County to discuss these questions and what can be done about the the rise of anti-Semitism locally and nationally.
