Just Monday, Columbia student Moshen Mahdawi was detained by ICE during a regular interview as part of the citizenship process. Hundreds of students from more than 90 institutions across the country have had their student visas revoked.And the Trump Administration is doubling down on the disappearance of hundreds to CECOT, the maximum-security prison in El Salvador. With Salvadoran president Nayib Bukele by his side on Monday in the White House, Trump suggested that US citizens could be sent to the notorious prison, saying “Homegrowns are next. The homegrowns. You gotta build about five more places. It's not big enough.”At the same meeting, Bukele said he would not return Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, who fled his home 14 years ago to escape gang violence and had an order granting him the right to stay in the United States. Garcia is married with three children and works as a first-year apprentice with SMART Local 100, the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers union. WeA are approaching the "Olympic break" and after that the All-Star break in the NHL so the trade deadline silliness looms close on the horizon.  We talk this week about Jacob Panetta, who was suspended by the ECHL, Aaron Dell, who was suspended 3 games for his hit on Drake Batherson and we touch on the hit by Taylor Hall on Nathan McKinnon.  We discuss Denver homegrowns in the NHL.  Brady Tkachuk will be taking Batherson's place at the All Star game, and it is deserved.  The PHF had their all star game last night (the 29th) but it was not very well announced or advertised.  Evander Kane has signed with the Oilers (as Mike predicted) and scored a goal in his first game.  Claude Julien has fallen and broken a few ribs.  Not coaching the Canadian National team, Jeremy Colliton will step in.  We talk Josh Ho-Sang, Claude Giroux and hockey prospects both currently drafted and those that could be drafted this summer.  Lots of content for your listening pleasure, so  Enjoy the Show!

We’re back to our weekly MLS season schedule as the 2020 MLS season quickly approaches. We’ve got a big show for you after a little over a month away. A lot has happened since we last spoke and we’re here to tell you about Orlando City's most recent signings, the preseason so far, a key injury, the team’s new away kit and more. Pro Soccer USA's Glenn Crooks previews the upcoming match between New York City FC and FC Dallas with the television voice of Dallas, Mark Followill. FCD earned a vital point on Wednesday at Seattle in a 0-0 draw to move into playoff position in the Western Conference with one of the youngest teams in MLS. Followill said that owner Dan Hunt has a strong desire to win an MLS Cup in the FC Dallas way. "Dan is not shy about saying that FC Dallas very, very much wants to win an MLS Cup sooner than later. However, their model for pursuing it is and their dream for winning an MLS Cup is by starting 11 Homegrowns. Whether that's realistic remains to be seen."
