Stocks faced pressure Tuesday morning in an apparent tech-led sell-off. Kevin Green isn't raising the alarm, noting many tech names ran significantly higher and attributes the selling to profit-taking. He points to the SPX futures holding its 20-day SMA and expanding market breadth as other signals of strength. On the earnings front, Kevin explains why Palantir (PLTR) has sold off following stellar earnings. He later talks about Pfizer's (PFE) solid report and attempts to break out into new industries.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Subscribe to the Market Minute newsletter - https://schwabnetwork.com/subscribeDownload the iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/schwab-network/id1460719185Download the Amazon Fire Tv App - https://www.amazon.com/TD-Ameritrade-Network/dp/B07KRD76C7Watch on Sling - https://watch.sling.com/1/asset/191928615bd8d47686f94682aefaa007/watchWatch on Vizio - https://www.vizio.com/en/watchfreeplus-exploreWatch on DistroTV - https://www.distro.tv/live/schwab-network/Follow us on X – / schwabnetwork Follow us on Facebook – / schwabnetwork Follow us on LinkedIn - / schwab-network About Schwab Network - https://schwabnetwork.com/about

Hour 1 of the Bob Rose Show, with latest on a loud public meeting where citizens expressed outrage over a School Board Chair's social media comments on the death of Ric Flair. Plus Monday morning's biggest news stories for 8-1-25.
July 25, 2025 - The death of a state assistant forest ranger has renewed calls for state environmental officials to update the system for tracking government personnel deployed into the wilderness. We discuss this tragedy and the campaign for reform with James Odato, a contributing editor for the Adirondack Explorer.
Send us a textThe 75th anniversary celebration of ECTC in Dallas showcases a remarkable evolution in advanced packaging technologies, revealing how semiconductor priorities have dramatically shifted. Rather than the relentless miniaturization of the smartphone era, today's AI-driven applications demand larger packages with more functionality and sophisticated thermal management solutions.Glass core substrates emerged as the star technology of the conference, with standing-room-only sessions demonstrating the industry's intense interest in this promising material platform. The excitement is justified – glass offers superior dimensional stability and enables higher-density interconnects than traditional organic substrates. Meanwhile, co-packaged optics generated similar enthusiasm as engineers tackle the monumental challenge of powering AI server racks that consume between 0.5-1 megawatt each, making energy efficiency a critical concern.Through conversations with industry leaders including Monita Pau (Onto Innovation), Charles Lee and Mark Gerber (ASE), Tim Olson (Deca), Scott Sikorski (IBM), Roland Rettenmeier, (SCHMID Group), Simon McElrea (LDQX), Henan Zhang, (ACM Research), and Evelyn Weng (ERS Electronic) we gain insights into how these technologies will reshape semiconductor packaging. With record attendance exceeding 2,500 participants, ECTC has firmly established itself as the premier venue for pre-competitive research in advanced packaging. The technologies showcased this year may take 5-10 years to reach high-volume manufacturing, but they provide a crucial window into the semiconductor industry's future direction. As one participant aptly noted, "We used to draw pictures of these advanced packaging technologies and people quite often laughed... now they are actually production products because it was the only way to get there."Support the showBecome a sustaining member! The genocide in Palestine continues, as does a widening of war in the Middle East in Lebanon, Iran, Syria and other places. Establishment media has been responsible for inciting genocide and war through "atrocity propaganda." They've also been responsible for attacks on critics of U.S. and Israel policies related to the genocide. In our latest, we talk with return guest Greg Shupak (@GregShupak) about the U.S. media's incitement of Israel's violence against Palestinians and other parts of the Middle East. [00:30] The Party of Joy Strikes Again (55 minutes) Donald Trump faced another assassination attempt this weekend at his Palm Beach golf course. This time, the unapologetically leftist perpetrator has a large internet footprint that the FBI and media can't hide. Trump survived two assassination attempts in just two months, but the mainstream media is focusing on Kamala Harris's “joyful vibes” and how Trump is a threat to democracy because of January 6. According to the party of joy, it is just fine, even “reasonable,” to hate Donald Trump. In fact, the media is trying to blame Trump for starting the battle of violent rhetoric—asserting that the multiple attempts on his life are really his own fault.

Overlooked in the campus protests is the witch-trial hearings by MAGA Mike Johnson's House that bullied university presidents and scrutinized their federal funding, pressuring them, as Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton famously wrote in the Newspaper of Power, to “send in the troops.” Ultimately, the responsiblity falls on campus leadership, with several schools, like Rutgers University and Northwestern University, choosing a peaceful approach, reminding us that another world, free of police brutality, is possible. Following the anniversary of the Kent State massacre on May 4th, Gaslit Nation looks at the campus protests, reminding everyone that peaceful protest and civil disobedience won hard-fought progress in America's history. Biden recently stopped a shipment of arms to Israel, thanks to the growing pressure. We also check-in on the coup, out in the open, against our democracy, with Rudy Giuliani trying once again to exhort Ukraine to invent dirt on Biden. This is what led to Trump's first impeachment. He's back at it, because Giuliani, along with all the rest of the coup plotters, were never punished. This week's bonus show, available to subscribers at the Truth-teller level and higher on Patreon, looks at the latest reports that Ivanka Trump, after failing to make Nikki Haley the nominee, wants back on the Trump campaign and the White House. Expect to see Ivanka speaking at the RNC in July, wearing a pair of earrings you can buy from her own personal brand for $199.99!
