On this episode of the MarketScale Technology podcast, host and Voice of B2B Daniel Litwin sat down with Panasonic National Sales Manager Steve Milley and Group Manager, Product Marketing Rudy Vitti to outline the company's exciting new portfolio of projector, display and video equipment solutions aimed at driving immersive experiences. Debuted at InfoComm Connected, these products reflect broader trends in the ProAV industry that the trio dove into, dissecting where the industry has been and where it could be headed. In particular, ProAV solutions have trended toward being end-to-end and all-inclusive, with customers looking for ways to simplify their unique solutions, work with fewer disparate providers and integrators, and get elevated performance. “We're able to provide what we call a complete, what we call ‘glass-to-glass' solution,” Vitti said. “We've got products to help capture, process and then display content, whether it's in the same venue or remotely. Panasonic is one of the few companies that has the ability to do that.” In terms of display technology, Vitti said the main push is toward flexibility, remote potential and connectivity options, as well as SDM, or smart display modules, which allows modules to be plugged in to displays to enhance their capabilities. On the headend, Panasonic has introduced a game-changer in the form of an IP/IT platform called Kairos, which Milley said is aimed at being a software and processing-based, resolution and format-independent platform to help take in and manage even complex content more effectively.

Originally from Jamaica, Eric has a degree in Biology from University of Southern California and worked at Fulgent Genetics before starting Strands. It's important to note that Ian Bies is sharing his thoughts on general topics and questions and not anyone's specific business or legal situation.
