A large-scale analysis of Grokipedia, the world's first AI-written encyclopedia, has found that while many Grokipedia articles closely resemble their Wikipedia counterparts, a substantial subset diverged markedly in style, sourcing, and political leaning. Conducted by researchers at Trinity College Dublin and Technological University Dublin, the study compared nearly 18,000 of the most-edited English-language Wikipedia pages with articles on the same topic on the new Grokipedia platform. The study is the largest academic analysis of Grokipedia since it was launched by Elon Musk last October with a promise that the AI-written encyclopedia systematically "fixes" left-leaning biases alleged to exist in the widely used online encyclopedia Wikipedia. Wikipedia's content is written and maintained by volunteer editors, while Grokipedia is an AI-generated encyclopedia using the xAI's Grok large language model. What did the study find? Using computational text analysis and machine learning methods, the team analysed articles on the same topic across Wikipedia and Grokipedia. Selection of topics was based on Wikipedia's most-edited English-language pages. The team compared differences in writing style, structure, and the political orientation of external sources referenced in the paired articles. The researchers found a profound split – while many Grokipedia articles closely mirror Wikipedia, a substantial proportion (66%) of the 18,000 analysed are more extensively rewritten – they are longer, more complex, and rely on fewer references. As a whole, articles on Grokipedia show similar political leaning to those on Wikipedia, drawing on left-leaning news sources. However, when it comes to the politically and culturally sensitive topics of religion, history, literature and art, Grokipedia shows a consistent shift toward referencing more right-leaning news sources compared to Wikipedia. The study analysed Wikipedia's most-edited English-language pages, a selection that likely overrepresents high-profile and contentious topics. That said the study, according to the authors, provides useful evidence of emerging differences between AI-generated and human-edited encyclopedic knowledge systems. Details of the research, conducted at the joint Centre for Sociology of Humans and Machines (SOHAM) in Trinity and TU Dublin, have been published in the peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). What is the impact of this research? Lead author of the study, Saeedeh Mohammadi, PhD candidate at SOHAM and Research Ireland's Centre for Research Training in Foundations of Data Science said: "Online encyclopedias are central to public knowledge. They are also being used to train future generations of large language models. Our findings raise important questions about how public knowledge is produce, reproduced, verified, and governed. "Unlike Wikipedia, where biases are visible and contested through human editing, AI-generated systems operate largely opaquely. This means shifts in perspective or sourcing may occur without clear accountability or editorial oversight. Simply put AI generation does not remove bias – it changes how and where bias enters the system, often making it less visible." Professor Taha Yasseri Director of SOHAM and Principal Investigator of the study said: "Rather than systematically 'correcting' Wikipedia's alleged biases, as claimed when first launched, our findings suggest that AI-generated encyclopedias such as Grokipedia selectively reshape existing knowledge. This creates a patchwork system in which some content is copied, while other content is reinterpreted in ways that are less transparent and harder to scrutinise." "There is a dire need for transparency, oversight, and regulation in this space. Our information landscape is changing rapidly. We have already seen how the lack of editorial responsibility on social media platforms has enabled the generation and circulation of misinformation and ...

What to listen for:Our hosts, Robin Greubel and Stacy Barnett, chat about a peculiar kind of self-deception. The kind that costs years of training, thousands of dollars, and sometimes the well-being of both dog and handler. They call it beer goggles: the tendency to see the dog we want rather than the dog standing in front of us.Robin talks about Flash, her Lab who simply doesn't bark. Selectively bred for quiet patience in a hunting blind, Flash is temperamentally ill-suited for the alert-dependent demands of FEMA disaster work. It's a genetic reality rather than a training gap, and knowing the difference is the whole game.Beer goggles run in every direction. A handler can overestimate a dog's capacity, grinding for years toward a certification the animal was never built to earn. But the distortion runs the other way too. It's easy to mistake a sensitive dog who has gained real confidence for one who still needs to be handled with kid gloves, and failing to update that mental image.Robin's young Raven is a sharp example. written off as food-averse and agility-reluctant, she turned explosive once Robin stopped pushing food and started throwing toys for her to hunt.Stacy's current dog was acquired in 2020 as a sport prospect, redirected to wilderness search and rescue, and is now being painstakingly rebuilt for urban USAR work. The genetics were always there, but the USAR-specific foundations needed filling in.As a trainer, you need to be asking, honestly, whether you're doing this for the dog or for yourself, and whether the gap you're looking at is closeable. A starter dog, like a starter home, is nothing to be ashamed of! Episode overview In this episode of Investments Unplugged, hosts Kevin Headland and Macan Nia continue their timely dialogue around the geopolitical turmoil impacting today's markets. Now entering its 40th day (at the time of this recording), the ongoing conflict in the Middle East still commands center stage, so Kevin and Macan discuss how it's feeding through to energy prices, market volatility, and investor behavior. They examine why markets opened 2026 “priced for perfection” (leaving little margin for error), how the current oil price shock compares with 2022's macro environment (with important differences in inflation and interest-rate starting points), and why recent equity valuation compression—particularly in the technology sector—may be creating select opportunities for investors. Oil: the conflict's key transmission channel “Higher-for-longer” oil price risk: Even if the Middle East conflict resolves, Kevin and Macan suggest that oil prices may remain structurally higher than pre-conflict levels due to supply impairment and perhaps an ongoing geopolitical risk premium. Tracking evolving dynamics: These could include higher shipping insurance rates and even increased transit/toll-like costs tied to safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz—factors that can embed into oil prices beyond an immediate shock. Macroeconomic watchpoints: One of the critical questions still facing economists and investors alike is how higher energy prices might affect global growth rates, the likelihood of a slowdown or recession, and broader inflation levels. 2. Market volatility regime shift (not capitulation) More choppiness in less time: Since the Middle East conflict began, Kevin and Macan have observed a sharp rise in large daily moves by the S&P 500 Index (+/- 1% days), underscoring the reality of a more “headline-driven” market environment. Putting the “fear gauge” in context: While they note the VIX moving up (near ~30 at points), they emphasize that a VIX >30 is historically infrequent and that >40 has typically signaled peak fear levels, seen only in major crisis-type episodes. Markets reacting to ceasefire signals: They describe a “buy-the-dip” tendency where markets rally quickly on any perceived positive news, potentially reflecting underlying market resilience (but also risk if the conflict escalates from here). 3. 2022 comparisons: what's similar vs. what's different The main similarity: Today's geopolitical tensions have pushed oil prices higher, combined with below-trend economic growth and still-sticky overall inflation. A key difference: The starting point for interest rates and bond yields is different now than in early 2022, which affects both bond math and the policy backdrop. Inflation framing (“three Cs”): Today's inflation setup isn't a direct replay of recent history, which was marked by multiple years of persistently elevated inflation. 4. Valuations: technology reset, select opportunities Technology premium compressed: Kevin and Macan highlight that the NASDAQ Composite Index's forward price/earnings (P/E) premium vs. the S&P 500 Index has narrowed considerably, reflecting a meaningful valuation reset in recent months. “Better earnings for a cheaper price”: The market's price (“P”) has come down, while earnings expectations (“E”) have been more resilient, implying that there may now be improved value and select opportunities in some areas of the market. Not all tech is created equal: It's important to break the broad technology sector down into its subsectors (semis, hardware, software/services) in an effort to identify potential winners, rather than just buying tech stocks indiscriminately. Actionable takeaways for Canadian investors Treat volatility as part of the process, not a trigger to abandon it: With markets potentially “priced for perfection,” geopolitical and other surprises can spur outsized moves, so portfolios should be diversified and built to withstand volatility. Focus on the path of oil prices (level + duration): The big risk with regard to oil prices is not necessarily a short-term (e.g., one-week) spike, but rather a more sustained rise that filters into broader inflation expectations and economic growth. If sitting on cash, consider staged reentry into the market: Market uncertainty and volatility can potentially be harnessed to an investor's advantage, as they may spawn attractive opportunities to redeploy some idle cash back into the market. Reassess fixed income with today's yield cushion in mind: A bond's total return consists of both price appreciation and yield.Starting yields are higher today than in 2022, and price volatility may be offset over time by the income (yield) component. Selectively look for valuation-driven opportunities (especially in tech): Broad market sell-offs can sometimes leave no stocks unpunished, potentially offering opportunities to selectively buy high-quality companies at cheaper valuations. //The Wire//1900Z March 24, 2026// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: WAR CONTINUES IN MIDDLE EAST DESPITE ALLEGED CEASEFIRE. EXPLOSION REPORTED AT TEXAS REFINERY.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events-Middle East: The alleged ceasefire was broken immediately after it was announced yesterday. Israeli PM Netanyahu directly and clearly stated that regardless of the American ceasefire, the Israelis will continue targeting efforts. Which they did yesterday evening as the strikes in Tehran continued. After these targeting efforts were undertaken, Iranian forces retaliated with drone/missile attacks on Israel, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The United States likewise has not been observed to reduce targeting efforts at all, with plane spotters in England continuing to witness American B-52's constantly departing RAF Fairford with bombs slung underwing, before returning many hours later empty.Analyst Comment: This adds more weight to the theory that the "ceasefire" was probably not very serious, and possibly intended to buy time for more troop movements and resupply operations. Again, time will tell how this develops, but right now, no cessation of bombings ever went into effect.Strait of Hormuz: Traffic through the Strait has begun to trickle through in an organized manner as Iranian officials have cut deals with various nations, to allow their ships to transit the waterway. Around a dozen ships have passed through the Strait by diverting into Iranian waters, for inspection by Iranian forces in the vicinity of Larak Island. Analyst Comment: The Larak-tollbooth arrangement started coming into effect last week, and as of this morning is beginning to see more regular use. More strategically, this procedure is vastly more important than it seems as this arrangement is both granting the Iranians more international prestige, but also reducing tensions with other nations (such as China, India, and Japan), who have also been impacted by the war. Selectively allowing ships to transit narrows the scope of Iranian targeting to more directly target the United States, instead of just halting traffic to the rest of the world.-HomeFront-Texas: Yesterday afternoon a major explosion and subsequent fire was reported at the Valero Refinery in Port Arthur. Local shelter-in-place orders were issued as authorities extinguished the fire over a period of several hours. The cause of the explosion/fire has not been disclosed.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: The timing of this incident is indeed quite suspicious, however at the moment there's really not enough data to make an informed call about this potentially being linked to malign action. At best, all we can do is observe that things start blowing up in the homeland when certain international tensions come to fruition. It is overwhelmingly likely that various "shadow warfare" tactics would be used by a variety of malign actors within the United States at this present time, but as with the Valero fire it will be hard to attribute these incidents to malign action beyond reasonable doubt. In any case, these incidents are a sharp reminder to stay vigilant even if we don't know exactly what happened.Analyst: S2A1 Research: https://publish.obsidian.md/s2underground Disclaimer: No LLMs were used in the writing of this report. //END REPORT//
4. Guest: Jeremy Zakis. Jeremy Zakisdetails the strategic "diplomacy" of his 11-year-old Spoodle, Dallas, in managing backyard bird territories,. Dallas has learned to selectively disperse aggressive minor birds, whose presence previously deterred destructive cockatoos. By intervening, Dallas has allowed his "friends," the magpies, to return safely to the property. Zakis notes that Dallas demonstrates remarkable discernment, tolerating docile species like sparrows and rosellas while maintaining a "pecking order" against foes,. This behavior includes Dallas sharing his breakfast with the magpies, effectively restoring what Zakis describes as a "rightful balance of nature",,. (4)
“This message is a powerful reminder of the responsibility that comes with our words. In a world where it is easy to highlight the flaws and mistakes of others, this message challenges us to practice balance, fairness, and integrity. It calls us to recognize that every person carries both strengths and weaknesses, and it is unjust to define someone solely by their lowest moments. True maturity is shown not just in what we say, but in how honestly and compassionately we choose to say it; thus, ensuring that even in criticism, we do not erase the good that also exists within others” — SSRGO#LessonOfLifeSeries #SpeakWithIntegrity #GuardYourWords #TruthAndGrace #CharacterMatters #WisdomInSpeech #MindfulSpeaking #BeFair #MoralIntegrity #GrowthMindset #SelfReflection #PositiveInfluence #ChooseWisely #WordsMatter #SpeakLifeLessonOfLifeSeries@Gmail.Com

The Venezuela operation has been marketed as a flawless military achievement, and from a purely tactical standpoint, that assessment may be fair. The operators involved are unquestionably elite, and the United States retains unmatched capacity for precision action. The problem is not military competence but credibility. This administration has a long record of half-truths, selective framing, and narrative manipulation, which makes any official explanation suspect by default. The timing of the operation—coinciding with renewed pressure and exposure surrounding the Epstein scandal—raises unavoidable questions about motive. History shows that foreign spectacle is often deployed when domestic scandals threaten powerful interests, and the Epstein network represents exactly that kind of threat. In that context, skepticism is not conspiratorial; it is rational. The justification for targeting Venezuela collapses further when examined through the lens of drug enforcement. Venezuela is not a primary producer of fentanyl and plays only a secondary role as a transit point in broader cocaine trafficking networks. The real drivers of the opioid crisis are Mexican cartels like CJNG and the Chapitos, while cocaine production overwhelmingly originates in Colombia. Selectively framing Venezuela as the central villain exposes the operation as politically convenient rather than strategically honest. Meanwhile, the core causes of America's drug crisis—addiction, mental health, economic despair, and lack of treatment infrastructure—remain chronically underfunded and ignored. The result is a flashy distraction that creates headlines without solving problems, buying time for elites while accountability is delayed once again. In short, the operation may look impressive, but its premise does not hold up under scrutiny—and that dog does not hunt.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Gun Fights Step right up for "Gun Fights," the high-octane segment hosted by Nick Lynch, where our cast members go head-to-head in a game show-style showdown! Each contestant tries to prove their gun knowledge dominance. It's a wild ride of bids, bluffs, and banter—who will come out on top? Tune in to find out! Agency Brief English Bill of Rights 1689 COLD OPEN: Back in 1689, the British figured out that a government with a standing army and disarmed citizens was a bad idea. Then they forgot. THE VILLAIN: KING JAMES II (THE ORIGINAL ANTI-GUNNER) The Motive: James II wanted absolute power and a Catholic takeover of a Protestant nation. The Tactics: Used "Game Laws" (hunting regs) to disarm commoners. Selectively disarmed political enemies (Protestants) while arming loyalists (Catholics). Built a standing army in peacetime to intimidate the populace. The Lesson: Gun control was created to secure political power, not public safety. THE REVOLUTION: THE "GLORIOUS" HOSTILE TAKEOVER The Invite: Elites ("Immortal Seven") invited William of Orange to invade England. The Flight: James II's military support collapsed; he fled to France. The Contract: Parliament told William: "You can be King, but only if you sign this rights document." THE DOCUMENT: WHAT IT ACTUALLY SAYS The Text: "That the subjects which are Protestants may have arms for their defence suitable to their conditions and as allowed by law." The Wins: Recognized an individual right to have arms. Explicitly stated the purpose was "defence" (not just militia service). Banned standing armies in peacetime without Parliament's consent. The Traps (Bugs): "Suitable to their conditions": Classism. Rich people got better determination of rights. "As allowed by law": The loophole that eventually killed gun rights in the UK. THE AMERICAN UPGRADE (FIXING THE BUGS) The Fix: Madison and the Founders looked at the English model and patched the holes. No Classism: Removed "suitable to conditions." Rights are for everyone, poor or rich. No Religion: Removed "Protestants." Rights are for "The People." No Loopholes: Replaced "as allowed by law" with "Shall not be infringed." The Result: The English right was a permission slip from Parliament; the American right is a restriction on the Government. FACT CHECK & MYTH BUSTING Myth: "It was only for militias." Fact: Text says "subjects" (plural individuals) and "for their defence." Myth: "It shows regulation is normal." Fact: It shows that fighting regulation is traditional. The Bill was literally a response to excessive regulation by the King. Hidden Motive: The English elites wanted an armed populace to check the King, but not armed enough to check Parliament. The US Founders wanted the people to check everyone. IMPACT ON YOU (MODERN IMPACT) Supreme Court: In Heller and Bruen, the Court relies on this document to prove that individual gun ownership is an ancient Anglo-American tradition. Litigation: When states try to use "history" to ban guns, we use 1689 to show that disarming citizens is the act of a tyrant, not a legitimate government. Regulatory Creep: Expanding "sensitive places" and "permit requirements" is exactly how the UK used the "allowed by law" loophole to ban everything. We are fighting to keep the "American Upgrade" intact. WLS is Lifestyle Savage - Doing a 3D printed build based on the Ruger 10/22. If you think you've heard some wild shit from your quote-unquote radical friends then you better strap your ear pussies in for a ride. Upon hitting play you will be greeted by 5 cast members and while it will all seem normal for the first 15 seconds, you will soon find out that these dudes are cooler than your actual friends. Shawn, the head of the dick that is WLS, is always front and center, he runs the show and seemingly has seen it all and sometimes he gets drunk and that's when the real fun happens. Jeremy is likened to the shaft, keeps the cast together, is always the one to brag about his size and multiple times throughout the show he will uncontrollably engorge himself with rage. Aaron and Nick are both like the balls, Nick is the higher up one, closer to the head and friendly with the shaft. Seems to have lots of knowledge about the business but you would never know it. For the most part he is quiet and stays out of the way. But when he is needed, he generally has an answer. Aaron on the other hand, he is the lower one, he is the Ying to Nicks Yang, he always can't help himself with getting in the way, of easy conversation. And the rest of the cast always has fun at the expense of Aaron's well being. That being said these 5 guys will broaden your firearms and associated knowledge with true stories, industry news, first hand experience along with a lot of good laughs. Love the show guys. Keep it up. Oh shit, I forgot the 5th guy. Yeah then there's Savage1r. He's the taint. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Sigger Jim - I would like to amend my previous review in which i compared the cast to spices. Shawn is Thyme because his hunting stories waste a lot of it. Nick is cream of tarter because hes a little 'tarded, but the good kind of 'tarded. Jeremy is white pepper because white pepper isnt black. Aaron is cumin because all the dudes that cum-in him. Savage is still flour, but unbleached flour this time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Craven Moorehead - ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ You know, I like having that A-aron character around. His childlike innocence……no……ignorance, brings out the knowledge from Jeremy (the one everyone seems to think is a cunt) and Nick. Sometimes they need to see what a complete neophyte…..no……buffoon would think about a subject, so that they can expound upon the minutiae. Otherwise they would just assume that everyone is privy to the information, and move on. I also enjoy the older fellow with the ptosis of the scrotum. His stories about spoons and hunting and bad decisions sure will put a fellow to sleep. I think that about covers everyone. In closing, I sure do enjoy the podcast. Enough that I renew my cult membership every time the older fellow screws up the billing. What happens when your personal data is misused or stolen — can you really take a company to court?
PREVIEW Chinese Central Filtering of Canadian Statistical Assistance. Charles Burton discusses Canada's 1990s statistical assistance to China, noting how central filtering distorted the results. Authorities selectively used data that fit assumptions of success, ignoring negative information or using it only to improve tax extraction. The Canadians felt readily deceived due to China's reluctance to share negative truths. Guest: Charles Burton.
