This episode comes with a trigger warning of domestic violence. Jacinta Dubojski is the creator and founder of Just Another GIRL, an initiative designed to inspire and empower students by arming them with the tools to navigate difficult situations; such as bullying, and domestic violence, both of which are experiences that she's survived. Jacinta is a big believer in sharing stories to connect and help others, something I'm equally passionate about so I'm honoured to be able to bring you her story of resilience. This episode covers: Her traumatic experience at school confronting her childhood bully 15 years later The psychological entrapment of an emotionally and physically abusive relationship How to rebuild mental fortitude when you've experienced repeated hardship Receiving psychiatric care at her most vulnerable and the shocking treatment from staff How to get out of victim mindset and forgive yourself for all you put up with to survive Her best tools to shift self-esteem and internal narratives from unworthy to deserving You can connect with Jacinta here: www.instagram.com/just.anothergirl_https://www.justanothergirlproject.com.au/

The Rep Report is our regular roundup of current retrospectives and film series. This week, we're focusing on an important and fun series at the Brooklyn Academy of Music called Black '90s: A Turning Point in American Cinema. The programmer of the series, Ashley Clark—who has written for Film Comment about Burnett and Ava Duvernay, among others—joined FC Editor-in-Chief Nicolas Rapold for an in-depth conversation about Black '90s and the riches on offer throughout the series.

Greetings Survivor Fans, Ok, we want to know, "Would you have kept the car?" Do you share Christiana's view that Rafe is the puppet master? There was potentially a great bit of evidence in support of her theory this week. Here's the final four: Stephenie, Rafe, Danni and Lydia Jo Ann says that Lydia will go next, followed by Stephenie, then Rafe and Danni to win. Stacy agrees that Lydia will be next, but he thinks Danni will follow her, then Stephenie and Rafe in the final two, with Rafe to win. Stacy says that the only chance Stephenie has of winning at this point is if she gets to face off against Lydia. He thinks there are four solid votes against her in the jury already. Who's your picks for next to go? Give us the order of the final four and your pick for sole Survivor. We are eager to hear how you would call it. We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows. You can also send us your input in an email, and we'll read it into the show when we record. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see. Here's our schedule for the next couple of shows before the finale on Sunday. We need Listener Feedback by Saturday 5pm PST, 8pm EST. We'll put out the LF show that night. We will be hosting a conference call with the free Gizmo software phone on Sunday at 11am PST, 2pm EST. The Call Subject line will be: JASS Survivor Podcast The intro song this week is dedicated to Rafe who finally got to let his hair down and relax with the other girls now that "cool Judd" is gone.
