In Episode 16, Chey and Pav follow up on their Twitter Edchat #TeachPos by talking about Positive and Authentic Feedback. They start the episode by recapping the chat that happened a few days prior, and discuss a little but about the topic and what they hoped to get out of it. They then go over some of the aspects of Positive and Authentic Feedback that are meaningful to them each in their classrooms, and how the culture of the classroom can be made better by having open dialogue, and working on giving each other real and meaningful feedback. Chey and Pav work through a list of ways that teachers can provide positive and authentic feedback in the classroom, and provide some anecdotal stories to highlight these methods along the way. The duo introduces their "3 Enlightened Minutes" guest, Dr. Matthew X. Joseph, co-author of the book "Modern Mentor," which talks about the relationship between the mentor and the mentee, and how to have a good relationship that will produce results in the end. Chey gives some fun and fresh anecdotal stories to cap off the episode, and the pair ends their time by using their usual catchprases, "Inspire, don't Require," "Remember to be a Humble Servant," and "Education Never Dies. ----------------------------------------------------------- You can Check out our 3 Enlightened Minutes Guest: Dr. Matthew X.
