Ray said he is not impressed by Bo Nix or really any of the QBs he has seen this week. The guys asked Ray if the Steelers will make any additions to the coaching staff. Ray thinks the staff should be finalized by the NFL Combine so he doesn't expect there to be any big shakeups. Jeff was hoping we would see somebody more inspiring than Mike Sullivan as the Steelers QB coach next season. Jeff thinks chances are close to zero that Mason Rudolph will be back unless he truly has nowhere else to go. Jeff talked about the possibility of Ryan Tannehill coming to Pittsburgh and how he would fit back in with Arthur Smith. The guys asked Jeff about the process the team went through when picking Smith to be the team's OC.  Terry Bradshaw isn't high on Arthur Smith for how he handled things in Atlanta. Are callers?

Hour 2: We looked into the idea of Kliff Kingsbury being the Steelers next offensive coordinator. We also got some well wishes from listeners with Mullsy being out today. We took calls on where fans think the Steelers are looking in the offensive coordinator search?  A report from the PG says the Steelers will be renewing the contract of Teryl Austin as the team's DC. We also found out that Pat Meyer was the Steelers run game coordinator. So, it wasn't Eddie Faulkner? We heard from more listeners on where the Steelers are heading.  Pirates insider Jason Mackey from the PG joined the show. Jason reacted to the Aroldis Chapman signing from last night. He said it was a move that completely came out of left field and nobody was expecting this. He thinks it was a way for the Pirates to pivot their approach a little bit and if this move can make them more aggressive with the bullpen opposed to starting pitching. He still thinks they can still complete a move to address the rotation before the season starts. He does not think the team will consider Trevor Bauer due to his baggage, but he thinks the conversation should be had. Jason thinks a pre-season trade is the most likely way the Pirates can add an arm. Jason gave a projection of their opening day rotation and when we could see Paul Skenes in the majors. Poni asked Jason if the Pirates will bring Rich Hill back, but he hopes their plans are a little bit higher than that.

An NFL insider put the belief out there that the Steelers see most of their issues coming from the offensive line. Is it fair to put the brunt of the blame on that unit? They haven't been good, but they are far from the biggest issue. Donny thinks the Steelers are taking a shot at their offensive line because they try to put such an emphasis on running the football and they haven't done that well. Donny and Chris agreed that there are much bigger issues, but the organization seems to believe that Matt Canada and Kenny Pickett aren't the problem It looks like Kevin Dotson is playing quite well in LA. Do people like Mike Tomlin and Pat Meyer deserve flack for former throwaway linemen playing well in other spots?  The Steelers rank 18th in snap counts for non-rookie QBs and they seem to be in refusal to play their top two rookies – Broderick Jones and Joey Porter Jr. It seems like the Steelers have such a “we know best” attitude about everything.  College Football Minute – A huge win for the Pitt Panthers, knocking off previously unbeaten Louisville, 38-21. Hour 2: Chris brought up Kenny Pickett continuing to be inaccurate as the biggest issue in the Steelers offense. Poni is adamant that Pickett will be better once Matt Canada is removed.
