Jednou z nich je i nedávná střílečka Space Marine 2 a právě kvůli ní pozvání do Questu přijal Aleš Smutný, herní novinář a zároveň moderátor podcastu Raptor Imperialis věnovanému právě košatému světu Warhammeru.

This week Anna & Paul are talking character design and are answering some super fun questions such as: Who's the most cosplayable character? If you had to dress like an adv game character for a month, who would it be? Which villain dressed the most villainy? What 2 characters would you freaky Friday? And a ton more, like, too much more. So join in as they get actually pretty bitchy in discussing adventure game fashion choices, it's a real good time. Mangia! Vote for The Phantom Fellows to be released on GOG! This week we discuss two titans in the rap and R&B industries. Both of these groups have been largely influential in both their independent genres as well as music on the whole. It is difficult to say which of these albums is best because almost all of them are absolute bangers. It would probably be more fair to make this a tier list of which ones are top, but still there would be too many. Don't hate us for putting some of these albums low, that doesn't mean we like them any less. Email us at thisiswhyyourewrong@yahoo.com. Corporate oppression and wine in a can! Hooray! (Lots in this one. Broad brushstrokes only, I’m afraid.) An Australian co, ACo, sells wine in a can. A Japanese co, JCo, produces cans. One of JCo’s subsidiaries, JSub, competes with ACo, especially in China and Japan. In 2012, JCo bought 60% of the shares in ACo. JCo entered into an agreement with the other ACo shareholders including a good faith term. JSub continued to compete with ACo. ACo asserted JSub was required to pay it licence fees for its wine tech. ACo’s financial performance slackened. Tensions rose. Relationships broke down. A deadlock emerged. JCo commenced proceedings seeking to wind up ACo. The other shareholders in ACo commenced a s232 oppression suit seeking a share sale. First instance: oppression suit dismissed, including on the basis that the good faith term was not breached. On appeal the oppression point was pressed. Held: a majority shareholder can be found to have acted oppressively, even if it does not breach any agreement: [142]. However, the Court distinguished the facts from an analogous 1950s decision about rayon manufacturing: [147]. On foundations including that above, the conduct was found not to be commercial unfair; not oppressive: [154]. The appeal was dismissed.

The history of computer games. A list of one fucking game after another leading to perfection – King’s Quest V. We have pushed this view of history for a long time on this show. Recorded on May 21, 2013 with Brian Fife, James Fingal and Thomas Westberg. Streamlining - the way the sequels of a game, or games in a genre are re-worked to be simpler, easier - sometimes even with a dramatically transformed core mechanic - is covered in this live episode. Brian also adds nostalgia to the discussion list. The group talks about the way we hold old, complicated games in reverence (as well as the resurgence of kickstartered ‘homage’ games). They also discuss what makes a sequel good or bad, and whether, as a rule, you should play the latest game in a series. Referenced items: World of Warcraft, Nerf, Community Building - Tobold, How Microsoft Labs Invented a New Science of Play - Wired, Eve Online, XCom UFO Defense, Isometric Game, Bioshock 2, Defender, Stargate, Halo, Jaws 2, Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto, Jason Statham, Steve McQueen, Mass Effect, Desert Bus, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Madden NFL, Tiger Woods Golf, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, SSX Snowboarding, San Francisco Rush, The Walking Dead, Sam and Max, Monkey Island, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Star Wars: Episode 1, The Matrix: Reloaded, King’s Quest V, Space Quest, Maniac Mansion, Larry David, National Public Radio, Portal, Killzone, Gears of War, Legend of Zelda, Fallout, Everquest, Super Meat Boy, World of Tanks, Social Fabric - Tobold, Red Dead Redemption, Half Life, Goldeneye, Super Mario Bros., Doom, The New SimCity, Diablo Three.
Recorded on July 5th, 2012 with Brian Fife, James Fingal, and Thomas Westberg. Story-driven games and degrees of freedom in games are covered. Is a choose your own adventure interactive story really a “game”? How about puzzle games that are heavily biased towards a cutscene-based story? Is there a good way to classify or categorize games? Our hosts start to talk about this but do not come to any conclusions. The way games deal with suspension of disbelief, either elegantly or poorly, is reviewed and the team wraps up with a summary of EvE Online for Jim.
