In his new book, “Imminent,” former U.S. government intelligence official Lue Elizondo discussed a theory of how extraterrestrial/NHI beings might use anti-gravity technology that warps space-time around their craft in order to travel quickly. The process likely would cause time dilation, in that the beings in the craft are moving very quickly compared to humans outside of the craft, who would appear to the craft's occupants as moving in slow motion. Some of the video evidence from the 2023 Las Vegas alien incident suggests that the effects of time dilation might be responsible for some of the anomalous imagery. Send us comments, suggestions and ideas here! On this week's episode we step through the mirror into the cold wastes of Soviet Russia to explore the fringe, breakthrough science of Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev who re-imagined the role that torsion, time and entropy play in our cosmology of the universe and even created a giant mirror using these concepts capable of transporting its user beyond the boundaries of time and space- all accompanied by familiar side-effects known of psychedelic drugs. In the free show we mainly nerd out and discuss the paradigm shifting physics of Nikolai Kozyrev which he partly developed in the cold isolation of a Soviet gulag. In the extended show we investigate the reality-breaking experiments carried out using Kozyrev's plans for a twisted, room-sized mirror said to transport its test subject to worlds beyond and even conjure UFOs and alien-beings from the portal it opens. Is it possible that our nostalgic yearnings are more than mere sentimentality? Could our longing for the past actually influence the flow of time itself? From slowing our perception of time's passage to amplifying meaningful coincidences, these radical theories suggest that nostalgia might be a powerful force shaping our reality. What if our future emotions could echo backwards, leaving inexplicable traces in our present consciousness? Or if our brains emitted frequencies capable of subtly altering past events? These mind-bending concepts challenge our understanding of memory, time, and the nature of reality itself. In a universe where the boundaries between past, present, and future blur, nostalgia might just be the key to unlocking the mysteries of existence. If you are having a mental health crisis and need immediate help please go to https://troubledminds.org/help/ and call somebody right now. If you’re driving up the highway from Dallas to Minneapolis, you might rely on the Global Positioning System to help get you there. If GPS didn’t take the equations of Albert Einstein into account, though, you might wind up in Rapid City, or Milwaukee, or even the middle of Lake Michigan. That’s because the system’s timing would be off — an error that adds up to several miles per day. That would quickly make the system useless. The effect is known as time dilation. It comes from Albert Einstein’s theories of Relativity. They tell us that clocks tick at different rates relative to each other, depending on their speed and the gravitational pull they feel. So clocks on spacecraft appear to tick at different rates from those on Earth. An astronaut on the International Space Station, for example, ages a few millionths of a second less every day than the people on Earth.GPS satellites orbit at much higher altitudes than the space station, and their orbital speed is less. When you combine the effects, a clock on a GPS satellite gains about 38 millionths of a second per day compared to its ground-based counterparts. GPS computes locations based in part by comparing the time on different satellites. So the clocks on these satellites are adjusted to tick that much slower than the clocks on the ground. That keeps all the clocks in sync — and you on the right path to your destination. Script by Damond Benningfield

No two clocks in the universe appear to tick at exactly the same rate. That’s because no two clocks move at exactly the same speed, or feel exactly the same gravitational pull. Even two clocks on the same wall tick at slightly different rates. For those clocks, the difference is tiny — it would take longer than the age of the universe to add up to a single second. In other cases, though, the difference can be dramatic. The effect is known as time dilation. The explanation for it comes from Albert Einstein’s theories of Relativity. And as those theories tell us, it all depends on who’s looking at the clock.Special relativity says that clocks appear to move at different rates for objects moving at different speeds. Seen from Earth, the clock of a spacecraft moving at almost the speed of light would appear to tick slower than a clock on Earth. From the starship, though, its clock would move at the normal rate, while the clock on Earth would appear to move slower. Both clocks are correct. But viewed from different perspectives, they appear to tick at different rates.General relativity says the same thing applies for objects in different gravitational fields. The stronger the gravity, the slower the clock appears to tick as seen from outside the stronger field. Both effects have been confirmed by experiments. They make for some interesting science fiction. But they also apply to daily life. More about that tomorrow. Script by Damond Benningfield

Join Fazale “Fuz” Rana and Hugh Ross as they discuss new discoveries taking place at the frontiers of science that have theological and philosophical implications, including the reality of God's existence. Designer Proteins Recently, a research team from the University of Washington achieved a milestone in nanotechnology when they used computational methods to design proteins from the ground up shaped into structures that resemble axles and rotors. In turn, they assembled these components into rudimentary protein machines. This proof-of-principle work sets the stage for scientists and technologists to design other machine parts that can be used to fabricate even more sophisticated protein machines. In this episode, biochemist Fuz Rana discusses this exciting work and explores how it can be marshalled as evidence for a Creator's role in the origin and design of life. Resources: Computational Design of Mechanically Coupled Axle-Rotor Protein Assemblies Additional Resources: The Cell's Design: How Chemistry Reveals the Creator's Artistry Molecular Scale Robotics Build Case for Design Cosmic Time Dilation Time dilation provides direct evidence for the biblically implied big bang creation model. A cornerstone of big bang cosmology is that the universe expands from an infinitesimally small spacetime volume. In such a universe distant galaxies and quasars will be moving away from Earth at high velocities. According to special relativity, clocks moving at high velocities relative to Earth will show time extended by a factor of 1 divided by the square root of (1 – v2/c2), where “v” is the velocity at which the clock is moving and “c” is the velocity of light. Astronomers have observed the cosmic time dilation predicted by the big bang in the light curves of type Ia supernova in galaxies 4–9 billion years away. However, until now, they have not seen it in the very distant universe where the time dilation effect would be 10–60 times greater. Now, a two-decade study of the variability of quasars more distant than 12.8 billion light-years has spectacularly affirmed the expected cosmic time dilation. Thus, it affirms the Bible's accuracy in anticipating future scientific discoveries and helps establish the doctrine of biblical inerrancy. Tonight we explore the strange reality of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and what it means for 3 dimensional beings born into a 4 dimensional Universe. It predicts our birth from a singularity in an expanding Universe, the contraction of space at the speed of light, and both black holes and the infinite time dilation at their horizon. It's bizarre that space truly compresses and time actually slows down deep inside gravitational wells and near the speed of light. We literally observe supernovae billions of light years away exploding at half their normal speed. So let's find out about the history and basics of relativity. ▸ Want to leave a tip or connect?: Video credits: Carrol and Ostlie (textbook I used): https://amzn.to/3QtiABm TNG Simulations https://www.tng-project.org/media/ NASA/STSci/ESA Davis and Lineweaver (2003) https://arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/0310808 Nolan, C. Time Travel in Astronomy: How the Universe Reveals Its Past I think he's actually right...I think he's on the right track, because whilst the formal definition of a black hole...is a point in space with infinite density...that suggests that if its density is infinite, that its dimensions are zero...But I'm thinking that physicists know that 'physics'...never works that way. You can't have something with no volume and no dimensions and yet still exert a gravitational force The resources mentioned in this episode are: · Check out the integrated metallicity profile of the Milky Way published in Nature Astronomy. · Learn more about the metallicity of stars and its importance in the search for life on other planets. · Explore the concept of living inside a giant black hole and the theories surrounding it. · Find out if the entire universe could be a quantum object and what that means for our understanding of reality. · Discover the different sizes of black holes, including supermassive and intermediate black holes. · Learn about the formal definition of a black hole and its dimensions. · Watch the video on YouTube for a visual explanation of black holes. · Consider the implications of black holes on our understanding of physics and the laws of the universe. · Dive deeper into the topic of black holes by reading scientific articles and books on the subject. · Stay tuned for future episodes of the show for more fascinating discussions and questions. The Size of Black Holes Alright, time for a real brain-boggler: Do black holes have a size? Now, this might sound like a straightforward question, but in reality, it's anything but. The nature and properties of black holes are one of the greatest mysteries of our universe. In technical terms, black holes are described as a "singularity," which implies zero dimensions. But could there be more to it than that? Black holes became an engaging topic when Andrew and Fred touched upon how their "size" led to several theories and ideas. Both agreed that the definition and understanding of black holes are fluid, leaving a lot of room for scientific debate. Fred even hinted at the possibility of revisiting the no hair theorem, which describes the limited number of detectable attributes of a black hole. So, despite the name, black holes are anything but an empty subject! Apogee and Earth's Climate Now, let's talk about something a touch closer to home - the Earth's climate. You might have heard the term "apeelian," which refers to when our blue planet is furthest from the Sun. It's a regular, annual occurrence, but does it have a significant effect on our climate? From a layman's perspective, it might seem like it should. But hold onto your hats - the reality is quite different! In engaging conversation with Andrew, Fred clarified a common misconception about the apogee and its impact on our climate. As it turns out, the difference in distance doesn't have much effect at all! The tilt of Earth's axis and seasonal changes have a lot more to do with our climate than our planet's solar proximity. It's one of those delightful bits of information that make you appreciate just how complex and finely balanced our planet's systems are.
