From these humble beginnings the world opened up for them and with games such as Police Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry and Kings Quest, Sierra rocketed to the top of the charts and became one of the biggest game publishers in the world. If it's a bit too primitive for you, Try King's Quest 6. If that is still not to your liking, please try the King's Quest from 2015. If you go that route, please at least watch a few walkthrough videos of 1,3 and 4 before playing. It will really add to the story. You can purchase the older games in bulk for really cheap. There are updated VGA and SVGA versions in this collection. The 2015 King's quest is also really cheap and just a fantastic game. We talk about those old days, the flexibility of working with a parser, and all the constraints on game development in the early days. Dev Game Club looks at classic video games and plays through them over several episodes, providing commentary.
