Burnett Medical Center set some pretty high goals for wellness visits, complete physicals, annual wellness visits, and welcome-to-Medicare visits. They also initiated a tier management program to follow up with patients to make sure they are doing well. We're talking about this and more with Tamra White, Burnett Medical Center's Medical Practice Administrator and Compliance Officer. “As much as we like to think we're pretty good at what we do, there's always room for improvement.” ~Tamra White Tamra White joined Burnett Medical Center in 2001. Burnett Medical Center is a 17-bed Critical Access Hospital, Rural Health Clinic, and 50-bed nursing home in Tamra's hometown of Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Throughout that time, Tamra has held various positions including medical transcriptionist, medical staff coordinator, HIM Director, and Compliance Officer. During those years she assisted with two EMR implementations, revenue cycle improvement, and planning for a $15 million building project. Since 2017 Tamra has served as the Medical Practice Administrator and Compliance Officer in addition to implementing an Emergency Preparedness program. In December 2018 Tamra was asked to co-lead the organization when the hospital's CEO had an unexpected three-month medical leave. Tamra is currently finishing her bachelor's degree in healthcare management through Regent University. After that, she plans to obtain a master's degree in healthcare administration. Tamra also holds a degree in health information management from Rasmussen College. Tamra's mission is to serve her community, friends, and family in humility and love while ensuring they have close-to-home access to high-quality healthcare. Her professional interests involve strategic planning, medical staff relations, compliance, and regulatory issues, and goal cycles and action plans. Tamra's personal interests include spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, church activities, and Bible study small groups.

Jake Harris is the co-founder of Harris Bay. In 2003, Mr. Harris was involved in commercial construction as an estimator, superintendent, and later project manager. He was running millions of dollars of commercial property retrofits for clients including Equity Office Properties (EOP) in the Sacramento region and San Francisco Bay Area. He managed first-hand the value-added process of acquiring below-market properties to re-position them with cost-effective remodels. In 2004, Mr. Harris decided to transition his day-to-day operational experience into buying properties and rehabbing them for short-term profits. Based in the Bay Area, his first property was in the suburb of Phoenix, AZ. Soon after he relocated his full-time operations to the Phoenix, Arizona, region. After several years in Arizona he once again relocated back to Northern California in 2008. Over the years of investment management, Jake has been responsible for $200M+ across 100s of transactions. While working with several top Family offices and institutional investment firms like Invitation Homes, Tricon, Colony Capital and Wedgewood. In 2014, Harris Bay was formed when Mr. Harris and Mr. Bayer combined their decades of experience in real estate and wealth management to offer better and expanded opportunities to their clients. Creating a flexible investment strategy with strategic placement of capital into opportunistic assets and locations. Jake graduated cum laude from Rasmussen College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship. He also received with Beta Gamma Sigma and honors a Master of Science in International Real Estate (MSIRE) from the Tibor Hollo School of Real Estate at Florida International University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Accredited City-Builder Member of the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU-A), and a licensed Real Estate Broker in California.

Damien Rasmussen is a producer, engineer, and mixer located in San Francisco. He got his start in audio in 1983 as a college radio DJ on KDVS at UC Davis. He was schooled in the ways of the studio from John Barsotti at San Francisco State University and really cut his teeth at Dave Bryson's (Counting Crows) Dancing Dog Studio in Emeryville, California. This archive of the Wimba Distinguished Lecture on 4/30/2010 shares Northern Illinois University’s journey offering live online faculty development workshops using Wimba Classroom as well as making online workshop archives available for on-demand viewing either online, in iTunes, or on a mobile device. Emphasis is placed on NIU’s step-by-step workflow for using the MP4 archive download capabilities in Wimba Classroom 6.0 to deliver archived online faculty development programs in podcast form. The presentation includes considerations for hosting archives outside Wimba Classroom as well as the steps necessary to create a podcast RSS feed, submit to the iTunes store, and update the necessary files when a new MP4 archive from Wimba Classroom is available.
