The concept of sharing is something that strikes us as an unexpectedly difficult thing to navigate. Half of our play dates are trying to teach our kids to "take turns" which is actually not how the world works. Like, some things I'm cool with my daughter not sharing. I can also empathize with how difficult it must be to have another kids come into your space and want to touch and play with all your sh**. But, society tells us kids must share. And, we're really just trying not to raise selfish a**holes. But like part of me is like, I feel bad forcing you to give up the toy your so lovingly playing with for another kid? SO WEIRD. Listen to us vent about our trials and tribulations when it comes to teaching our kids how to share!
In this episode of The So Weird Podcast, we discuss and review Book 1, "Family Reunion", of the So Weird book series.
