Terry Sawchuk is the Founder Sawchuk Wealth. • Today's CPI report will likely be pretty important, if the number is hot, rates will likely keep going higher and stocks/bonds lower, if it is in line or lower, might help stabilize markets and mark a short-term bottom • Wildfires are a sad example of why you need risk management in place before disaster happens – need to protect money now and diversification is probably not the answer • Markets are reacting to higher rates, they expected 4-5 rate cuts this year, not likely to get them from where we sit today • People need to figure out if they or their advisor were simply lucky or good over the last two years, because that will make all the difference as to how they fare over the next 12 months. • Inflation looks like it's running higher which is not what many “experts” predicted

Terry Sawchuk is the Founder Sawchuk Wealth. Yen carry trade is what started this decline, but there is more to it than that. Populism is being driven by income inequality and general dissatisfaction with the average American's current standard of living. We are living through a fourth turning and the traditional approach to asset management won't work…I.e the usual 60/40 model is essentially dead. Volatility will increase and hedging equity holdings will be very important because timing the ups and downs will be very difficult.

Terry Sawchuk. Jeden z najlepszych bramkarzy hokejowych w historii. Prawdopodobnie właśnie to doprowadziło go do przedwczesnej śmierci. Posłuchajcie opowieści o tej genialnej, ale też tragicznej postaci...

Goalie, directed by Adriana Maggs, releases in theaters from January 31 and will then be available on DVD and digital come February 25 from Dark Star Pictures. The life of a professional hockey player was not always a glamorous one. For legendary goaltender Terry Sawchuk, each save means one more gash to his unmasked face and one more drink to numb the pain. Even with a wife and seven children at home, he is haunted by the void left from his childhood which he tried to fill with cheering crowds. Sawchuk traveled across the country racking up 103 shutouts and 400 stitches to his face, proving that this is a man who lives, breathes, and dies a goalie.A story that shows all of the brutality of hockey in the 50's and 60's. As a kid, I just saw heroes playing a game but this movie shows the reality. Players were treated as property and could be traded any time to anywhere. Wives were left to take care of the family often without any help from the player. Owners treated the players as little better than slaves. Excellent performances from all but extra credit to Georgina, Mark and Kevin. The story was a bit unsettling as we see the gritty existence of the hockey player. They barely made enough money to make ends meet and the tension that existed in the Sawchuk household likely reflected an unspoken truth.ADRIANA MAGGSAdriana Maggs is a Canadian film and television actress, writer and director, best known for her debut feature film Grown Up Movie Star.
