A real treat for all of us! I was honored to be able to chat with the great Jacques Vallee about, amongst other things, his new book with Paola Leopizzi Harris titled Trinity: The Best Kept Secret.

Gene and cohost Tim Swartz present another session with politically incorrect UFO investigator George Wingfield. On this episode, he presents a tribute to the late researcher David Perkins and his study of the cattle mutilation phenomenon. He also offers his insights into the book "TRINITY: The Best-Kept Secret" from Jacques Vallee and Paola Harris, which has been the subject of ongoing controversy. It examines the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident of December 1980 in considerable detail, and he offers what he considers to be a rational explanation for this widely-publicized case. Wingfield has a BA Hons. Degree in Natural Sciences from Trinity College Dublin. He once worked as an astronomer at the Royal Greenwich Observatory in Herstmonceux, UK.

Dubbed the Roswell before Roswell, the squad discusses the crash that pre-dates the modern UFO era while citing Jacques Valle's book "Trinity - The Best-Kept Secret". The event has also caught the attention of congress as they snuck a program into their 850 billion dollar defense bill to research historical UAP documents. The program will start it's research in 1945, the year the Trinity crash happened.

While many believe the U.S. government's ongoing coverup of the extraterrestrial reality began in 1947, there is some evidence to suggest it actually started in either 1941 or 1945. In 1941, an alleged alien craft crashed near Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the government reportedly recovered bodies and hardware. UFO investigator Jacques Vallee, meanwhile, has uncovered evidence that another crash occurred in New Mexico in 1945, two full years before the Roswell incident. Also, the Pentagon's new All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has been ordered by Congress to provide all records of UFO crash retrievals that have occurred from Jan. 1, 1945, to the present day. As a widely published, free-lance writer with a strong audience in Europe, Paola has studied unidentified aerial phenomena since 1979 and is on personal terms with leading researchers in the field. From 1980-1986 Dr. J. Allen Hynek entrusted her with his UFO investigations outside the United States. She has published interviews of many military witnesses concerning their experiences. In particular, in 1997, Ms. Harris interviewed Colonel Philip Corso in New Mexico and became his editor and confidante. She was instrumental in having his book, The Day After Roswell, for which she wrote the preface, translated into Italian. She also wrote the Italian Preface for Apollo14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell's book The Way of the Explorer. Paola returned to New Mexico in the summer of 2003 for the American debut of her book: Connecting the Dots; Making Sense of the UFO Phenomena (Authorhouse). Her second book, entitled: Exopolitics—All of the Above details possible conclusions to the UFO enigma. One of Paola's most recently published book: Exopolitics--Stargate to a New Reality, contains 23 interviews with international expert witnesses. When UFO enthusiasts think back to the origins of the modern UFO Phenomenon, the decade of the 1940s certainly stands out. Of course this was the decade that saw the Roswell event reportedly happen: when a craft, apparently piloted by beings who were decidedly non-human, crashed into the desert of New Mexico. Rumors of crash retrievals, attempts at reverse-engineered technologies, and the recovery of alien bodies of course swirl around the historical account of this famous event; an event now seared into the collective memory of our entire culture. The 1940s also birthed the first mention of the term “flying saucer”, when private pilot Kenneth Arnold reportedly saw shiny unidentified flying objects flying past Mount Rainier at remarkable velocity. This sighting created an uproar in the media and in American popular culture. And Arnold's description of these UFOs subsequently led the press to coin the terms “flying saucer” and “flying disc” as popular descriptors. According to a new book by ufology legend Jacques Vallee, and his co-author Paola Harris, the popular historical record as it pertains to the UFO Phenomenon is missing a major milestone from that remarkable decade. Here they refer to an event that predates both of the afore-mentioned famous events. In 1945, two years previous to Roswell, there was another crash in the desert of New Mexico. And this event had witnesses; witnesses still alive today. Witnesses that were interviewed at length by both Vallee and Harris. And in addition to extensive interviews with the living witnesses of that remarkable event, Vallee and Harris spent much time in the very location of the reported crash, examining the land and circumstances that surround the event in painstaking, scientific detail. Of course, that particular location is famous for more than the crash of a sophisticated craft piloted by non-human beings. It is also the very same location of the detonation of the very first atomic bomb. And as if that coincidence doesn't already grab your attention, the two events happened within weeks of each other. These historical details – to Vallee and Harris – are too striking to be explained away as mere coincidence. No, in fact, the authors postulate that there is a profound meaning needing to be dusted off and considered here, along with the artifacts of the event itself. And Jacques Vallee and Paola Harris go further, openly questioning the idea that this was an accident at all. To them it has all the hallmarks of a staged event; one that was meant to send a clear message to humankind, at the very dawn of the Atomic Age, a dark era that erupted onto the canvas of human history with the light of a thousand suns, as the now infamous description goes. Was this a warning? An attempt at the opening of a dialog? Or something else? Many profound questions arise as one learns about the details of this remarkable event: an event that involved not just an apparently alien vehicle piloted by potentially off-world visitors, but telepathic communication between these Others and the witnesses that Vallee and Harris interviewed; even communication offering glimpses into the future of our civilization; including some events that have already come to pass in the time since.
