I had the best conversation with Elissa Williams, a celebrity stylist, investor, speaker, and founder of the embodied style method. Elissa is a style alchemist, mixing fashion, self-expression, and a radical call to be your most evolved self to create a wardrobe that feels good and magnetizes abundance to you. Elissa not only styles celebrities, but she also has built a multiple six-figure styling brand and a certification program in a school. She got into styling after realizing that helping women feel good on the outside would also transform their lives on the inside. She grew up with very religious parents and was taught that love for fashion or beauty was not as good as doing something spiritual. She eventually left the church and started experimenting with her own style. She now mentors other women in helping them create their dream styling businesses while being the BOSS of her very own empire!⠀ In this episode, we discussed: How Elissa's unique approach to styling helps her clients transform their lives from the inside out How Elissa's childhood experiences with religion and fashion influenced her present-day work What the ‘voices of too much' are, and how you can neutralize and love it What Elissa's top tips are for people who want to express their full selves through fashion ⠀ If you've taken anything away from this podcast that has supported you, take the time to leave a review, subscribe, and share with your friends! This week I've done something I've never done before! I interviewed my dear friend and coach, Aimee Batuski from Desire on Fire, and we had 11 gorgeous souls on the call with us, asking their burning questions. So their curiosity pretty much led the interview on the topics of their choice. It was so much fun, and we covered many areas like sex, money, sisterhood, desire, and more! Aimee is a Speaker, Retreat leader, intimacy expert, and co-founder of Desire on Fire. She and her partner Ellie Montgomerie lead virtual group programs and in-person retreats for women that focus on living a pleasure-filled life, loving their bodies, trusting men, and owning their feminine power. At the end of the interview, Aimee invites you to the Desire on Fire experience happening in October - and I have a unique link w/ a coupon code to get a special price! https://claudiawhitney22.krtra.com/t/pLtHmszTaGlF (Use code: COURAGE to receive $500 OFF until 9/30/22) ⠀ We discuss: How Aimee got into the feminine work and how she and her business partner Ellie started their company Desire on Fire. How to create connection through communication exercises that create more intimacy in relationships. How leading with your vulnerability invites more vulnerability from others. The steps to creating a desire-led life, learning to trust your body's innate wisdom, and giving yourself permission to follow the voice. Getting out of your head and into your body and the practice of aligning with your head, heart, gut, and pu$$y! Holding your desire even when it feels like it's taking too long or might not come to fruition. Using the word pu$$y and reclaiming your body and power source. Reframing sex, taking responsibility in the bedroom, and looking at it as a vital nutrient that replenishes rather than depletes. What has supported her in making more money, how she got over her money blocks, the incremental shifts and expansion around money, and what blasted her open to receiving. How sisterhood is different from a close friendship. ⠀ If you've taken anything away from this podcast that has supported you, take the time to leave a review, subscribe, and share with your friends! We talked about: How she navigated growing up in an Indian family living in a small rural farming town in Canada. About her self-love journey, how she didn't always have it, and what she does today to cultivate it. How her jealousy and triggers expanded her and how she reframed it. Unraveling her good girl conditioning and becoming the woman she is today. Tips to starting your own self-love journey. This week on Courage to Create, I interviewed the fabulous Gia Gunn! I met Gia a few months ago, and shortly after, she came to my Woman Unleashed Retreat - and we totally hit it off! In the interview, we shared some laughs and lots of tears as she shared her incredible life story. Gia is a proud Japanese American Trans Woman. Her life wasn't always so straightforward as she navigated first from being a gay male to crossing dressing to doing drag, eventually transitioning to a woman. I learned so much from Gia in this interview - and what she really drove home was this message that staying true to who you are may not always win the majority of the crowd, but standing out strong and bright is what wins at the end of the day! In our conversation: Gia shares her journey to womanhood and how she navigated from being a gay male to crossing dressing to doing drag and eventually transitioning to a woman. We talked about how supportive her parents were from an early age and how they created a safe space for her to be whatever she wanted to be! She tells us how she got invited onto the popular TV show as a fan favorite from VH1's hit show RuPauls Drag Race Season 6 and All-Stars 4, took off to Hollywood, and found fame overnight. Gia shares the incredible story of how she gathered the courage to create her reality and began her transition process and what it was like for her. ⠀ If you've taken anything away from this podcast that has supported you, take the time to leave a review, subscribe, and share with your friends!
