Welcome to House of Comics #47! We know that we have been pretty abstract with the topics this season. After comic book/wine pairings (see HoC #43) and 5-on-5 X-Men pickup games (see HoC #45), we figured it would be nice to do an episode for newer readers and new listeners of the pod. Since most people are more familiar with film than graphic novels, we decided to go through some classic movie genres and talk about some comic books that would fall into those genres. We get into our personal opinions and philosophies around the genres and why we choice the books that we did. Accessibility was a key factor, but we also made sure to provide you with books that we could recommend to just about anyone looking for the goods in this medium.
