As a listener who tunes in religiously every Tuesday, I can confidently say that this podcast never fails to deliver quality content that entertains and uplifts.

However, it's worth mentioning that these instances are rare and do not significantly impact the overall quality of the podcast.
In conclusion, The Ticia The Diva "This Is For My Ladies" podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking an uplifting blend of modern day topics, spirituality, and mind hacks/affirmations. Season 8 Episode 126: “Rest, Relax, Reset and Realign” Season FinaleThis is not just another episode—this is a moment of truth. A deeply emotional season break is ahead, and I want to be honest with you. The fear, the guilt, and the weight of walking away — even temporarily — have been heavy. S5 Ep 100: Can you believe that we are wrapping up 2020 with This Is For My Ladies 100th episode?! This is the last episode of the year and what a year this has been. 2020 started out a mess, the impeachment process of president Donald Trump that never happened , the death of Kobe and Gigi Bryant, the deadly coronavirus that plagued the entire world, a mass worldwide shutdown, unemployment rates skyrocketing and stimulus checks. Despite all those tragic things happening in the world, it was a big year for entrepreneurs and some small businesses, people where able to take advantage of this time to fully throw themselves into their businesses, side hustles, hobbies, passions and even education. In this episode, "Where the money resides," it encourages you to step into your fullest potential and to stop sleeping on yourself! You can't be "where the money resides" when you're constantly getting in your own way, self sabotaging your life, dreams, goals, happiness, your time and money and sad to say, you'll never be where the money resides when you continuously deny yourself, talking yourself out of opportunities and making excuses and the money doesn't reside on that side. From here on out, money resides wherever you are, you are a magnet and money is constantly flowing to you. Take the time to reflect on this year and where you want to be in the new year, what are you going to do different? Allow those ideas that you pushed to the back of your mind resurface to the for front and ask yourself what are you willing to invest and sacrifice to see that everything that you ever said you'd do and accomplish come into fruition so you can be where the money reside and that's on Mary had a little lamb, sis you're Mary and that lamb can be some savory lamb chops, a sweater or both its all in how you view things and what you are able to produce with what you are given. I hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year, see you in 2021! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
If you've been active on social media, you've probably heard the buzzword "Clubhouse" or "CH" and probably wondered, "what is it?" Clubhouse is a new audio app that allows users to chat in real time, share stories, ideas, collaborate and connect with different people in their field, from all over the world. It's been around roughly for eight months, so it's still in beta mode and currently an "exclusive invite only" social media platform. Once you've gained access to Clubhouse, you are then given only ONE invite and as I was told, choose wisely. Clubhouse provides different chatrooms with different topics hosted by moderators who are experts, gurus, popular social media influencers, celebrities or just passionate about a subject. People have been flocking to Clubhouse to have the exclusive, once in a life time opportunity to literally be "in the same room" with these people, to ask questions, comment or seek professional advice, provided that they can get to them. Clubhouse has been a power move for so many established and up and coming entrepreneurs, creatives, artist and talents, so much so that people are paying and charging for invites, I've seen someone post that a Clubhouse invite was sold for 5k and I'm at 4 invites now. Is Clubhouse the new trap house? I mean, it is a place to connect those doing business. Maybe you'll have to be invited into the Clubhouse to determine. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 98: We are just weeks away from the new year and yet you've still been struggling with your skin, you've gained so much weight during "quarantine and chill" and the thought of exercising makes you want to throw up. Maybe you cant figure out why you're always having headaches and you're feeling sad or fatigued or maybe things around you have been so chaotic, t's disturbing your peace and you're losing all patience with any and everything. Sounds like you need to get your S.H.I.T together. Sis, let's face it, you can't keep using Rona and the panoramic as an excuse to continue to procrastinate, girl, get your S.H.IT together! S5 97: In this episode, "show up," I share my thoughts on industry relationships after the recent news of a porn star from Norfolk,VA admitted to having sex with a popular rap star. I express how SOME men get with the women that they need and leave them for the women that they want once they reach a certain level of success and the importance of self dependency when single and in a relationship. This episode, show up encourages women to show up for yourself by taking care of your priorities, putting your needs and happiness above anyone else and taking care of your shit! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 96: In this episode, push through, I recap my trip to Laguna Beach and the message that I received while en route. I also remind you all of how Groupon is still the goat and reigns supreme in the ultimate go to for self care and how purchasing and decorating my first live Christmas tree was so therapeutic and nostalgic for me. The word push, can be defined as a vigorous effort to do or obtain something and/or exert force on (someone or something), in order to move them away from oneself. The term "push through" is to force someone or something to perforate, penetrate, or pass through something. This week, I want you all to push through with whatever dreams, short term or long term goals you have. Start small, write down what it is that you want to do and detail the first step to get started. Sometimes the first step is research. Ask yourself, how long will you commit to research, 30min-1hr a day, what time of the day, do you work best early in the morning or are you a night owl, doesn't matter, make the time to push through and do something for yourself with one small step this week. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 95: Happy Thanksgiving Ladies, can you believe that we are literally one holiday away from the New Year, get us out of here right? I wish there was some reset button that we can press and everything could go back to normal where covid didn't exist, we didn't have Donald Trump as a president and outside was open backup, granted, it's getting cold and I personally prefer to be inside during the cold months but still, give us FREE! And because it is thanksgiving, I still want to give thanks and in this episode, of course I share those things that I'm truly most grateful and thankful for and encourage everyone to buy black this Black Friday. rotate that dollar back in the black community and find a black business to support. Also in this episode, I talk about grounding, being off balance and the measures that I'm taking to gain that control with some self care practices this week. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 94: I saw a post on Facebook that said, “You meet ur 18-year-old self. Ur allowed to say 3 words. What do you say?” In this episode, “Girl, just leave.” are the three words that I’d tell myself 18-year old self and I share my thoughts on things that if I could hit the re-set button on, I’m talking about college experiences, the lack of financial literacy within the black community growing up and the consequences of choices. Girl just leave, is a declaration to release anything, any person, relationship, any fears, doubts, ideas or thoughts that aren’t of your own, that may have been projected on you and now who and where you are in life, those things no longer serves you nor the best interest in reaching your greater self. Girl, just leave (you fill in the blank). --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 93: Taking care of business can be a hassle, damn right exhausting but nevertheless, we pull through to get things done. Mind your rich business, I share some of the things to consider before moving to a new city and state, mainly my 90+ minute phone call with Geico. In this episode, I share details of the holiday giveaway that my sister LocsXLish on Instagram is doing for FREE 18-inch faux locs installation with makeup provided by ItsDesireable_beauty on IG as well, so if you or you know a woman that deserves a little pick me up during the holiday, reach out to her, its completely confidential. Congratulations are in order for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, our new 46th President and Vice President, with Kamala being our first afro-indo female vice president, this is a historic moment in history so congrats to her. Also, I share in this episode the tax increase that Trump passed in 2017 that will increase those that make less than 75,000/years every two years after 2020, crazy right? Speaking of crazy, how bizarre was it for Keke Palmer to be worried about folks and what they spend on their EBT? I looked up Keke’s net worth for this year and the gag is this year she’s worth 7.5 million. I’m still trying to figure out why is EBT even apart of her vocabulary? Keke is rich and in broke people business, no offense to anybody receiving food stamps and snap benefits but why of all people, Keke worried about it when she can have her meals brought, provided and prepared for her daily, if she chooses. Mind your rich business and stay out of poverty affairs. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
In this episode, “Go vote.” I talk about the election ads that we’ve been seeing on our social media platforms for some months now, that has been practically harassing everyone with an electronic device. The audacity but that what happens when we don’t pay to be on social media, did anybody watch The Social Dilemma on Netflix yet? I also share the idea that a best friend of mine, Jonathan Trey, who’s a community developer and has worked on several projects in Connecticut, Rhode Island and currently Detroit, where residents are benefiting from the initiatives he’s worked to put in place. Jon, who’s a Norfolk, VA native, created an initiative, a Community Blocks Agreement, that will grant African Americans and minorities government contracts to help build the casino, provide jobs to those from low income communities, a certain percentage of money from the casino will go back to low income communities and so much more that will directly impact those black and brown people in Norfolk. I can’t express the importance of voting during the presidential election but the general and local elections too. Think of how frightening 2020 has been for many Americans, coronavirus has plagued America and claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, lockdowns, the mass cop killings of unarmed African American and the many immigrants who are being separated from their families and/or receiving involuntary hysterectomies. It’s A LOT! Think about that and the many other things that has happened under this presidential term. What’s been great about any of those things? I’ll wait. America won’t ever be great again because they never started on great terms. From the time of the first settlement and the genocide of the indigenous people, to the slave trades and the enslavement, lynching and torture of African, Caribbean and Latin people, to the bombings and domestic terrorist acts on communities, African American leaders and children, need I go on? History has been fucked up and I hate the saying that “history repeats itself.” Just to think, that for many generations to come, even after we are gone, the history we’ve once endured, will resurface on some other level and our loved ones will have to experience that. It’s disheartening to even think about. So that’s why we must vote, to have a hand in what we envision for our future, it’s about humanity and what you wish to see for the world. Take for instance, those millionaires who are for Biden and Harris, they are willing to be taxed an alleged 65%. Some millionaires, rich now, who have endorsements, million-dollar investment deals, NY Times best-selling books, has or brought Birkin bag, has royalties and etc., are against being taxed 65%, these people are wealthy, rich, millionaires, mind you. Are these the people that we even want to support going forward? Need I also remind you; our support is what pays them. When we listen, watch or pay for anything they do or are a part of, we pay them. Whether it be money or mind, we are paying them something. Speaking of paying, I went on both Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s website, just to see what they are talking about and yeah, Trump is a mess. Go vote. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 91: For Colored Girls, now this episode isn't the "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" but it is for colored girls, who've struggled with insecurities, colorism/racism and finding confidence. During this episode, I share my own stories of colorism that I experienced from adults as a chid. I also talk about the importance of building confidence in young colored girls. In this episode, I share the importance of teaching young girls to love themselves and the skin they are in to eliminate insecurities and any insecurities that they feel aren't those thoughts of their own but the projections of others that don't feel confident with themselves. I also encourage women to teach their daughters and/or other colored girls, how to compliment others. This teaches them to be secure and confident within themselves. As women, it is our duty to build other women up, we shouldn't be putting other women down to embarrass them in front of others but to correct them in private. This episode is real light and just encourages black women to be better to themselves so that they are able to better to other women. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 90: Let's talk about sex baby, let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be, Let's Talk About Sex! So, ladies, we are gather here today to discuss something that is so beautiful, pleasurable, mind blowing, disappointing, scary and/or traumatic. Depending on your experience, sex may have been all of those things and in this episode, I ask those questions about what's a healthy number of times to have sex on a weekly basis? How do you let your partner know they aren't sexually pleasing you? I also talk about threesomes and "trains" aka a mans "bisexual experience", let's call a spade a spade. During this episode, I talk about different relationship types and how monogamy is a choice, I also discuss platforms like Only Fans, sex workers, the new term I just heard "Street Sex" which are couples who use condoms (psst, that's some shit a man came up with, go figure), birth control and most importantly, having those conversations about getting tested and knowing your status before two people engage in sexual energy exchanges. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 89: Issa Vibe! In this episode, I share what lead to my ultimate decision to stay in LA. Listen ladies, I appreciate each and every one of you all that have been my help and support encouraging and motivating me through this tremendous transition of my life! I speak about leadership, being a follower, the term NLP (Neurolinguistics Programming), which is the methodology where a person can "model" the skills of exceptional people, allowing anyone to acquire those skills. I share how my natural energy has been attracting people here in LA, being a vibe while suffering from a level of high functioning anxiety and the recent Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma. This episode is scattered with affirmations just pouring into myself and speaking positive things into my life and yours. I want the positive vibrations of this podcast to resonate and penetrate your spirit deeply and that you are able to step out of your own comfort zone and do something that will change your life, maybe that was just a word for me but hey, I’m just a model and a testimony. When my autobiography book drop, don’t say I didn’t tell you. Listen, God, the Holy Spirit was definitely speaking through me, I think I even left y’all with a closing prayer, receive it and with so much love. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 88: Ladies, please come to the front of the alter, I need to have a word with you all. Lately, it has been brought to my attention that we are calling for the black men to protect black women. I hate to inform you but sis, that ain't about to happen, that's like asking Trump to wear a mask, even after he got Coronavirus. Why must we continue to call for the black man to protect us when they turn right around and shit on us calling women bitches, hoes and sluts to our face for having an opinion or for defending other women? The black mans hatred for women continues to increase, driving a wedge between members of the same community. Are we not fighting the same struggle, to be seen as human beings, to not be killed for being black, to receive equal treatment and rights as our white counterparts? Black women will stand up for the black man, protect and nurture the black man long after they shit on us but what do we get in return? Hurt feelings and a bunch of social media post pleading to them why they need to protect us. Now I'm not saying ALL men are this way, some men have been raised to respect and honor woman, putting her on a pedestal as "Queen", that's like the game of chess, the Queen is THE most IMPORTANT piece of the game. Funny how people refer to chess as a game of life yet the 'Black Queen' is the least important in real life. Did anybody catch that post where women were asked "what would you do if there were no men on the streets at night?" The answers were astonishing, the fear that women have for men are sick but they are suppose to protect us right? Women said they would go for a night stroll, bike ride, sit on a beach, some women had so much stuff that they would do they couldn't even name it. This is disheartening to say the very least. Men are suppose to be protectors, naturally, yet we fear them. That has to do with history and women being SO far removed to make them feel inferior, dirty and less than a man or even an animal. Women and their vaginas were once the most powerful things on this planet, they were worshipped, along comes men and religion that over threw women and her sacredness for patriarchy control, read Pussy Prayers, it details how women were once the most superior and we still are to this day but we are giving way to much power to men, like the job of "protecting us" when they don't see nothing of value to protect. In this episode, I share the disrespect that I received from men after making a tweet that read, "I hope it's staged. Sis looks terrified and his actions screams "abusive", after the video surfaced from #SaltBae restaurant of the woman twerking and the man aggressively beating on the door to let him in. Another video, same location, different angle came out showing he wasn't even going after the woman twerking but yet another woman in the restaurant but before that, I was attacked for my opinion, the amount men that disrespected me and justified the mans behavior was sick, black men but we want them to protect us? Fuck them, not all black men but any man that feels disrespecting women or a women getting what she deserves, those are trash ass men. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 87: Ladies, listen up, can I just apologize for my absence, I will never starve you all of weekly podcast episodes, EVER again but let me explain, "I need a therapist." These past two weeks have been a whirlwind and while I didn't release episodes for the past two weeks, I've still been recording, so kudos to that but this week episode, 'I need a therapist," has been at the forefront of my mind for some weeks now and as away to get my most genuine, authentic and unapologetic thoughts out, I created this space for myself that I've openly shared with you all for 2 years and it's been therapeutic for me. At 31 years of age, this is my first time living away from home and the transition has been overwhelming, especially during a pandemic and because of that, I need a therapist. In this episode, I share how I'm releasing judgement, leaving people where they are, removing myself from toxic and unhealthy situations and looking at this move as an advantage instead of a set back. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 86: Ladies, listen up, if you have not watched P-Valley on Starz, you are missing out! In this episode, from the pole to the palace, I share my thoughts of the season finale, when I tell you I can't wait for next season, I'm more than ready to see what Katori Hall, creator and writer is up to! Speaking of from the pole to the palace, did you all catch the exchanges between Cardi B and Candance Owens? Are you ladies even familiar with who Candance is? Well, Candace is an anti-black, African American woman, conservative and Trump supporter, who went viral after the killing of George Floyd. Candance recently was interviewed, where she called Cardi B an "illiterate puppet" that is being used by Joe Biden and the democratic party because she's "dumb", Candace believes that the democratic party is the demise of black Americans. Also heard in this episode, I share my thoughts on the Brandy vs Monica Verzuz battle, the spin off of Power and a new book and series that I'm both reading and watching at the same damn time, "Lovecraft Country," okay, I know in this episode I said I wouldn't watch the series until I finished the book but OMG, the book is so good, I couldn't resist myself! Of course, there are some clear and evident discrepancies in the series but isn't it always, personally, I wish they would have stuck to the book but as a "movie critic", I can understand why they would change certain things, but still. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 85: New month, new goals, same crazy ass 2020. We are 9 months into the year and listen, I don't know about you all but I'm more than ready for things to go back to normal but at this point, what's normal anyway? 2020 has been a whirlwind, from a global pandemic, the United States shutting down, to the unexpected deaths of prominent celebrities has really rocked the world in more ways than another. 2020 has been a mess! In this episode, I talk about the recent passing of actor Chadwick Boseman, who lost his battle to stage 4 colon cancer after four year, on August 28, 2020. Chadwick, was responsible for bringing some of our favorite historical characters to life such as Jackie Robinson in 42, James Brown in Get on Up, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall and one of the roles that we will forever remember superhero The Black Panther as King T'Challa, Chadwick leaves behind a beautiful wife, whom we shall keep in our prayers. On a lighter note, how are we feeling about these live virtual concerts and shows? Again, I'm ready for things to go back to normal, I miss crowd participation and the energy from fans. Did you all check out my IG story during the Brandy v Monica Verzuz? Listen I got my entire life!!! I'm ready to go to a live concert like yesterday, I'm still mad about Something in the Water being canceled, the ghetto! Also in this episode, I share updates of my transition to California, how I'm ready to get back to work so I can meet some new people, the planning process of starting an online boutique and my preparation for my role as Lil Kim in her biopic (speaking things as if they were) by studying the Chubbuck technique, I mean I'm in Cali now, might as well follow my dreams of being an actress! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
S5 Ep 84: Level Up is an episode where I recap last week's episode Bad Trip and the transformation that I felt by reprogramming my mind through prayer and meditation, taking a vow of silence, being out in nature and incorporating the 7 Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. I share how audiobooks have become a life saver and how a phone call from an old friend helped to reshape my thoughts centered around my current state. Listen, the level up is real and it don't have to take years, money nor a title to level up, leveling up starts within the mind and thoughts. Leveling up is centering yourself and silencing all the outside noise to hear the answers that you seek. In other news, I discuss Megan Thee Stallion and her recent confession that Tory Lanez, in fact, did shoot her in her feet and how domestic violence amongst celebrities aren't been taken as serious as they have previous years ago. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support

S5 Ep 82: Home is where the heart is is an episode where is express my thoughts on missing home aka "my family." I've been in Cali for 25 days and it was day 22, where I was up searching flights at 1am Pacific time, to go back home to surprise both my mom and sister for there birthday. Now I don't miss Virginia but home, for me, is the warmth, love, support and accessibility that my family has provided me with for 31 years of my life, living in one place. Coming to Cali for my birthday and deciding to stay was definitely not planned but when opportunities knock, I'm opening the door. My prayers for myself is that I'm not over stepping any boundaries nor the life that God has already planned and ordained for me by trying to do my own lil thing out here. It took me learning my life path number to understand how I navigate through life and the decisions that I've made centered on what's most fulfilling to me and how I move with soul and passion. I long to experience things for myself and live life at the beat of my own drums. During this episode, I share my experience of a California earthquake, meeting Mila J, singer and sister to Jhene´ Aiko and how I find it odd how much Californians love dogs, I know right, dogs? Yes, dogs it's so alarming how strangers will push up on you just to pet your dog, their entire mood changes when they realize you have a dog, it's insane the mass attention they receive. Also heard in this episode, I encourage listeners to demand and own their time and denounce those things and excuses that hinder people from living a life of freedom. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ticia-the-diva/support
