The WWE continues to grow to new heights as one of the biggest attractions in sports and entertainment, and this weekend, Philadelphia plays host to Pro Wrestling's Super Bowl as Wrestlemania takes over on April 6 & 7 and will be their grandest stage yet. Extending the event from one night to 48 hours with a WWE roster of superstars and storylines, two of the biggest names in the sport are sitting down with Ryan, Channing and Fred to share their unlikely journey to the top of wrestling and how it has shaped their lives in and outside of the ring from being apart of one of the fastest growing movements in the world to the battles they've overcome to be successful.  Bianca Belair and Montez Ford, the WWE superstar couple, talk about wrestling, their relationship on “Love & WWE”, finding the person they love while doing what they love and their storied journeys into their individual careers. Both former champions, Bianca and Montez have proven they have what it takes to succeed in wrestling and share how they have paved the way for other black men and women to have similar success and open up about how the spotlight away from the ring has affected their careers and personal lives.  Bianca opens up about how her highly competitive track career in highschool and college led to a battle with her diet, body image and eventual depression. The mental struggles mixed with her unhealthy relationship with food created a scenario where she was unable to perform at her best despite her insane amount of athleticism and talent. Afraid of failure, Biancaa leaned on her family and went back home to reset her life and eventually pivoted into a new endeavor, joining the WWE. For Montez, it was a different path, as wrestling was always a passion of his, and when he lost his older sister to a car accident in 2000, wrestling became a true escape and a way of life. Overcoming his own setbacks, Tez discusses how he was too skinny compared to other men in the sport when first trying out but it was his family's motivation and philosophy to always max out in anything they do that motivated him to keep going.  The two's success opened doors for young men and women who not only looked like them to believe they can have success but all young people to believe that not all journeys are direct paths to the top. With Bianca being the longest reigning RAW world champion during her meteoric rise and Montez winning three different championships as a member of the Tag Team Street Profits alongside Angelo Dawkins, the couple has put on for not only themselves and their families but the black community too. Captivating fans worldwide with their skill and contagious personalities, their on screen love and support for one another has elevated the two into a different level of stardom.  Fred and Ryan can't help but ask the obvious question about the scripted reputation of WWE and ask how Tez and Bianca explain what they do to others and how they deal with their constantly changing storylines while keeping from one another too. Setting the record straight that WWE is non-scripted at its core and what happens from week to week is unknown to them as they go in-depth about how grueling the schedule is, how tiring the performing can be from high-octane jumps to painful moves on the ground, the sport is difficult on the body and mind. With Wrestlemania on the horizon, the two talk about the title fights they are supposed to have but how even being a few days away from being on the biggest stage in wrestling, the two don't quite know what's in store match wise for them.  Their chaotic lifestyle of the WWE is transparently shown in their new Hulu series, as the two figure out what fits their careers while making big decisions about having a family and what's next. Bianca's Kiss of Death and Montez's Frog Splash are two of the best finishing moves in the WWE, but this couple's story is very far from over.  Learn more about your ad choices. See all the Healthcasts at https://www.biobalancehealth.com/healthcast-blog/ Sexism and bigotry are still alive and well in medicine. I have experienced this often during my 40 years in medicine. Women are considered hysterical to the medical man (and some women) which has been what men think about us since time began. This has passed it's “sell-by” date, as has the bigotry against people of color, but it is present, and we must somehow get what we need and get around the attitudes of medical personnel. My best advice is to not act hysterical because the male brain then flips to the thought that we are imagining this medical symptom! But if you cannot help it then have someone with you who can talk like a man---“just the facts”, don't embellish and don't give them a long story…they lose interest, and forget why you are there. Tell the ER Doctors and EMTs” That you think you or your loved one is having a heart attack The estimated time you started having these symptoms If you took an aspirin, then tell them Have your medical history written on your iPhone app: look up this icon on any iPhone Have a list on the iPhone app or on a list in your wallet. Give all this information to your healthcare provider right away. Answer questions succinctly and quickly…no stories! We are successful at treating heart attacks and preventing disability and death in older men, but women of all ages and people of color, both sexes, are not being treated optimally, certainly not as well as their older white male counterparts. “Despite a decline in the number of overall heart attacks, this number is rising among young adults,” Dr. Banco adds. “And young women and young Black adults have poorer outcomes after a heart attack compared to men and white adults.” Journal of the American Heart Association: symptoms of heart attack Chest pain, pressure, chest tightness, burning in the chest Shortness of breath Left arm pain, Jaw pain Upper back pain Heart burn Passing out As doctors, we have been taught that women have different symptoms than men when having a heart attack, AND we have been taught that men have many more heart attacks than women. Only half of that is true. Women have fewer heart attacks when they are compared to young men of the same age, BUT women reach the same rate of heart attacks as men after menopause and if they are not replaced with estrogen.  Our female patients at Biobalance Health actually have fewer heart attacks than is normal for their age after menopause because they are replaced with estradiol pellets. Young adults 18 to 55 years old who come to the emergency room with chest pain may wait longer and get less thorough workups when they're female or Black, a new study suggests. But they have fewer heart attacks than men and women as they age. The studies show that the care women receive is biased and are not considered at risk for heart attacks. An expert Gulati say in Everyday health, “There is implicit bias in how we care for women,” Gulati says. “Women are still not seen to be at risk for heart disease (https://www.everydayhealth.com/heart-disease/). It is still seen as a man's disease, despite the fact that cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in both men and women.” Delay in treatment should not be discounted. It can mean the difference between life and death and health and disability. “Time is heart muscle,” Dr. Gulati says. “So, these noted delays and less aggressive care of women have the potential to translate into delays in care, less diagnostic testing, deaths at home for some discharged, and continued worse outcomes after a heart attack in young women — particularly young Black women.” If you have the symptoms of a heart attack, you should take a baby aspirin (81 mg) and call 911. Time is obviously very important to the heart and lack of oxygen from a heart attack damages the heart muscle and therefore can leave you with a damaged heart that will limit your activity and lifestyle. No matter who you are, you should tell the EMT that you think you are having a heart attack, and they will go as fast as possible to the hospital and treat you on the way. If you cannot talk then make sure you partner with your partner and make sure you help each other communicate with the EMT and doctors. Remember you only need to tell them that you think it is a heart attack and that your symptoms are, (choose yours), chest pain or chest pressure, shortness of breath, left arm pain, jaw pain, and or upper back pain.

The human body, along with the brain and heart are electric fields that conduct energy and also run off of vibration and frequency. When we are anxious, scared, or angry- our pulse increases etc. Music is a modulator of emotions . Whether the purpose of a particular song is for feelings of "euphoria" or " dysphoria" depends on the subliminal message behind the music/content. Therefore the subconscious mind picks up on these lyrics and causes a reaction, especially from the rhythmic repetition from the frequency level( song) being played over and over again. Yes, some of the beats are fantastic; but what are we letting into our energy field? Furthermore is it mentally healthy for brothers and sisters to continue to listen to music that constantly talks about destroying- not only oneself but also their fellow man or woman? Couldn't be an inherited mentality from our forefathers/mothers, lack of accountability, ownership on both parts, the woman not knowing "her place", the man "losing his place", or simply that old saying "it's the White mans fault".

Tonight we meet the show cast for the very popular stage show 'The Diary of Black Men- How do you love a Black Woman. Russell Andrews (Director)  Russell’s journey with The Diary of Black Men began in 1986 when after two very well-received performances, at Houston’s Ensemble Theatre, an opportunity came to cover a character in The Diary at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre. After that single performance Mr. Andrews was asked to be the sole understudy for all 6 male characters as well as the assistant to the director and technical staff.     With The Diary’s phenomenal success, Russell spent the next two years covering all of the 6 roles, while continuing to drive “the van” across the country several times, ironing the costumes, moving the props and carrying the luggage for the cast. The opportunity to take a permanent role in the play came at the famed Town Hall Theatre in New York City where, while keeping his position as technical assistant, he took over the role of  ‘The Intellectual’ and never looked back. http://www.diaryofblackmen.com https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Diary-of-Black-Men-How-Do-You-Love-A-Black-Woman/129017420475662 Call in to speak to the Directors and Actors  3479457556 Follow Ebony  https://twitter.com/morebeingyou
